Girl at front desk did her job amazingly. Second girl I spoke with very nice - explained everything was handcrafted. I am shopping for frames. I know what I want. Meet older man, obviously in some kind of higher position. Basically implies I have no idea what I need and seems upset I dont want his recommendations. Politely imply I just want to browse. Man continues to press me and act superior in knowledge. Felt so pressured I just had to leave. Never felt this way in my life. Wont be spending $600 on glasses here and would advise any young person who doesnt want to be patronized to avoid this place. If you are completely incapable of deciding what you want on your own and need some old guy in a purple shirt with terrible style to force his opinion you - this is your kind of place.

I thought the whole visit was uncomfortable: nobody introduced themselves so I went through half the visit thinking the tech was the optometrist, for example. Then my contacts prescription was completely wrong. I had just had an incorrect rx from a different doctor so at this point I started worrying about bigger issues (neurologic). So I tried to reach the doctor to discuss my concerns but I left multiple messages and never heard back from her. A receptionist was kind and tried very hard to be helpful but it was obvious that even she was surprised and embarassed by the doctors lack of accessibility. Hopefully, this was an unusual experience for the office but thought my personal experience was worth sharing.

Envision is fantastic. Great service, excellent selection, awesome employees. I live in the neighborhood so its extremely convenient but I would come here even if I lived across town. I literally had no idea how much I could not see till I came and got an eye exam here. They know what theyre doing! Now I can see! You could say it was an eye opening experience.

I have been with Dr. Jeff Smith since the 90s....with that said...very satisfied...dispite the very unusual disruption of a Pearl Street fake bomb threat...everyone stayed calm and the staff ushered us quickly out the back door to stage several blocks away for safety. This is the best all around optical care facility I have ever experienced. Dr Jenny was fantastic. She is very Knowledgeable and personable.I decided to get contacts and Allison was extremely helpful during my training of how to get them on and off.I also got a new pair of glasses and Tyler was so helpful. They have so many cool styles to choose from, including Maui Jim’s which are amazing sun glasses.He also adjust my current pair of glasses which never felt good on me and never fixed properly at my previous place I was going. They now fit perfectly.I highly recommend Envision as the place to go for all your eye care needs.

Star of the art! Great experience and my doc was so helpful in explaining everything. I really enjoyed the experience and glad I found them. The only thing I wish had been different is I wish they had given me the option of getting bifocals rather than just reading glasses. It had big a huge pain to have to keep taking them on and off. I’d much rather have gotten a pair of glasses I could just keep on all day. I’d recommend these guys and gals for sure just be sure you know what you want

I came in today with my two daughters today. We all saw Dr. Jennifer - she was phenomenal! My kids are young and the staff went above and beyond to help me with them and also help me (#momlife) to get checked out too. Dr. Jennifer, knows her stuff, shes smart and thorough and WONDERFUL with kids. I cant wait till we go back next year! and will be referring other mommas to this practice! My previous doctor went through several brands and types of contact lensrs doing his very best to find some that were comfortable enough for me to wear. After many attempts he gave up so I gave up too. Two years later and wearing glasses exclusively, I decided to give it another try and behold I was fitted with some contacts that are very very comfortable. I am beyond elated about this! The best eye people in the world. On the weekend I all of a sudden had floaters and flickering light in one eye. They have a number after hours to call. The doctors here are very friendly and knowledgeable. However I have had very mixed experiences with the support staff. In particular my experience when I decided to give the online glass retailer eyeconic a try, their website had envisioned listed as a preferred partner which meant you could have your glasses sent to them and they would do the final adjustments and eyeconic would pay them directly for the service. However this was an error and they were not part of this program however they were able to get reimbursed and do the fitting. The whole time that I was getting the glasses adjusted I was subject to criticisms of my choice of frames, lenses and for using an online retailer. This experience happened close to 2 years ago however when I was making a recent optometry appointment it was something that stuck with me and I have decided to go to a different optometrist as a result.
