What a great experience it was today for me at the Boulder Drum Shop. Billy, the owner, helped me last week first discover the perfect set of hi hats I needed, then ordered them and got a hold of me soon thereafter once they arrived. He also took the time today as I picked up my hats, to take a look at my snare drum, tune it and educate me on its history. He is always friendly, and professional whenever Ive been there. And his command of Drum knowledge is amazing. Colorado drummers need not go elsewhere, Billy at The Drum Shop will take good care of you!

Slowest. Transaction. Of. All. Time. The owner of the shop was very nice but spent literally 20 minutes talking to another person about general Life stuff before he even asked me if I needed anything. The whole time I was standing behind the other person waiting. The shop has good products and the guy was very nice but I just dont have time for that kind of business. Im busy and cant spend 30 minutes waiting for one simple transaction. Would not go back.

Ive been going to the boulder drum shop for over 20 years, since Billys been in existence. Ive always got the best prices and best equipment available. Also, the personal attention Billy gives his customers is untouched. An example is when barely new me he loaned me a 5 cymbal set at no charge! Since then Ive boughten 10 brand new cymbals all Zilgan A custom. Now, he has offered to shine them for me (I am a blind man) What drum shop does that? Very good experience at the Boulder Drum Shop. The employee (might have been the owner) was very friendly in helping us find what we were looking for. We are just starting out with playing the drums and he walked us through what we should be looking for in our purchase. He informed us about other customer options about products and helped us pick out the right fit. Very helpful and friendly.

Great owner, always have a chat for 20+ minutes whenever I’m in there. I’ve only ever bought sticks, heads, and other random things there but if I was looking for a new kit, supporting this store is my first choice.

A great little store. I like that its locally owned and they have an impressive variety of percussion instruments here, including lots of hand drums, kits, shakers, etc. I bought a really beautiful Buffalo drum here with an incredible bass tone.

Roughly 5 years ago, I purchased a used Roland TD-6 at The Shop. I was there several times and was treated like a pro each time. On purchase day, there was another (sad) option on the floor, brand new for the same price. The Roland was light years better- condition and capability, regardless of any potential risk that can come with used electronics.Any worries I had were unnecessary. All these years later, the TD-6 still works as good as the day I got it. Because its lasted, Im now a significantly better drummer and my son has picked it up.These guys are the real deal- Its not often you get more than you pay for.

Bought some new drum heads, got great help picking them out, got some nice conversation, and they even helped me put the new heads on for free. Tl:dr great place, great staff.

This place was really great and Forest knew a lot about the rides and sticks. Overall it’s a really good drum store and the soap in the bathroom smells fabulous.

Walked in to see what the shop was all about,I was greeted by a friendly associate, He answered all my questions, and was more than happy to show me some pan drums and some hand percussion instruments.
