The man on the phone was really friendly, had me send pictures, told me what kind of window I had, assessed what was needed, and said it wasn’t his specialty. So, he talked to me for another 10 minutes to make sure I found the right service. Now that’s just kind.

Charles the owner was very helpful over the phone helping me figure out exactly what glass I needed to replace the pane I broke. Then he delivered it a few days later, and when I chose to do a self-install, he was still very helpful in walking me through the process and telling me all the tricks. Great service!

Charles came to our house and gave us a very detailed explanation of the repair steps involved. We did not proceed at this time with fixing our window but I would highly recommend him for his knowledge and expertise. I have no doubt he will do an A+ job!

Just called and I was more or less mocked me for asking a question. I wanted a little glass piece to fit and protect a piece of furniture. Me, not being the expert, asked if they do that kind of thing. The person on the other line said, of course we do that in a very rude, condescending, manner. I didnt know what to say. I waited on the line until he said, do you have any more questions. I was going to engage him and then decided I didnt want to do business with anyone like this. I told him no and hung up.I work on the phone all day and Im not making this up, whoever answered the phone had very poor social skills and clearly didnt care about making a good impression. Maybe hes a Picasso and can get away with it but its not worth it to me. I write a about 2 reviews a year, so Im not one to complain or praise without reason. Yuck, what a horrible way to do business.

I was hammered last night and punched a hole in my window. I knew I had to get it fixed before my landlord saw it for a showing at 4 or he would charge me 250 dollars. GIVE SLADE GLASS YOUR BUSINESS!!! If I could give it zero stars, I would. I called today to get a ballpark estimate after a home inspection revealed a broken seal on a window. We needed a figure to negotiate a credit toward closing costs. I asked if he could email me a quote. He proceeded to rudely inform me that he needed to get paid for the work he does and he couldnt go around sending emails all day. He said he would send an email for $30! Im not sure if he realizes that he was being interviewed for the future replacement of the quoted window. He should have assumed so. Im also not sure he understands that a free quote is a well established staple of the loss-leader strategy for the service industry. Apparently he would rather miss out on my business then take a couple minutes to send an email. He was exceptionally condescending when I described the window that need to be replaced. He then informed me that I would not be able to replace the window on my own when I had every intention of hiring someone. Seems that he made the same assumption that another reviewer reported. It is unfortunate that Boulder Glass has such a person answering their phones. They should consider replacing him.

Great experience, he followed up when I was trying to get there the first time (but then couldnt because of traffic) and when I called the next day was able to help me out and give me advice over the phone, which ended up being all I needed.Would consider this place again and may do so soon for a custom shower door.

Awesome experience. Called on a Sunday at 4:30pm from Estes Park after a pebble from the Bear Lake Rd construction chipped my windshield. Charles waited until I got to Boulder and repaired the chip.Would highly recommend.

Charles replaced my 4Runner windshield today. The price was great, the service was exceptional, and as a bonus, they explained what went wrong with the previous install (from another company) that resulted in the windshield failing so quickly (3 years or so).Its always nice to finish a transaction happy with the service youve received.

Careful of the owner (Charles) attitude. Condesending, rude and confrontational. Dont expect a conversation with Charles, expect an aggressive individual who will talk down to you. If an issue arrises he is not interested in resolving the issue, but stands by his invoice - not the work (I would describe this as money over quality or work product).Also ask that he gives you a very detailed receipt of the work because if anything happens down the road he will not standby his work and will not help out if there is a misalignment on what work was completed.

Called to inquire about getting some single pane glass, the guy was condescending and rude, implying that I wouldnt be able to cut it myself. Very unhelpful and very unprofessional to make assumptions about the person at the other end of the line. Ive repaired plenty of windows and this guy was basically just a jerk.
