This is the only place in-store gun shop I, and my friend, will go to. If I do shop online I always use them as my FFL. Owner is super awesome, very friendly, and knowledgeable.I honestly looked at some of the other reviews and dont believe em. I extreme suggest using them as much as possible.

Need to update your hours on Yelp - Apple uses them to show your business hours.I came today at 11:30 (when it says you’re open from 10-4pm on Saturday)and the place was shut. Your hours show you’re open online. Google isn’t the only thing people use. A few other people came by as well.You guys are losing business when you’re not open on Saturday. Doesn’t make a lick of sense.

Owner is a complete spaz. Apparently they were recently robbed and now the customers are being harassed and asked to give personal info away in order to do business. Do not shop here unless you want to be accused or suspect of robbing there establishment.

These guys where very unfriendly and asked me for my Military ID and phone number before I could purchase ammo for my guns.Definitely a North Korean Police State mentality from this armory. Do not recommend purchasing or supporting this place.

Just used these guys as my FFL dealer. They were super quick in getting their license to the dealer I bought it from. Super friendly and willing to help. They got me a great recommendation on a grip and installed it for me. Really liked working with them. I will be back.

First and foremost - the best, most personal customer service Ive ever found at a gun store. The entire staff has always been engaged with a customer when theyre up front and genuinely seem to want to understand what you need. Even when they have more customers than staff, theyve ensured that everyone was taken care of. Their prices on ammo are the best in the valley and their gun inventory seems to be competitively priced across the board. Not an easy task for a smaller brick-&-mortar shop, but they do gun, ammo, and accessory sales right.

The kind people at Bountiful Armory accepted my husband’s request to educate my daughter and I about purchasing a gun, gun ownership, responsibility and some of the processes in place when buying/owning a gun. The folks in that store not only took the time to talk to us but they answered a slew of questions! Their business is guns and they know their business! Everyone there was kind very well versed. I just went in for an issue on a part a different gunsmith installed. The gentleman who helped me was in a rush for a family emergency. He could have easily said Come back tomorrow, Ive got a family emergency. but he took 5 minutes to fix someone elses mistake. Top Notch service. I owe you. Thanks youve gained a customer.

These people are busy with clients . But the owners are friendly and very knowledgeable .Now if they are busy, its worth the wait . In saying that, being busy means they know how to take care of their clients . Great place .

I have shopped at almost all the local stores that sell weapons. Time and again I have returned to Bountiful Armory. Darin and the rest of his staff are well educated (but definitely not gun snobs) and have no problem taking time to talk to you as a person no matter your background in firearms. Ive had Bountiful Armory build, modify and even correct weapons that werent quite right after they came back from other shops with not a single negative word towards the previous gunsmith. Only commenting on the current condition, possible issues and recommended corrective actions. Prices are very competitive and Id much rather see a local business supported whenever possible.Oh yeah, and my wife likes to shop here too.

The guys were great. First time I stopped in, about 10 minutes before closing time. Very helpful, awesome attitudes and open to conversation. Glad to see a firearm shop with great workers open in bountiful.

Stopped by here to take a look at their selection while I had my son and nephews with me. Staff was totally helpful and even took time out to show the kids some of the special rifles they had in stock. We asked about their shirts and hats as we werent buying any arms that day but wanted to buy a couple of their hats and shirts. Before I could even grab my wallet the owner offered to give them to us at no cost. Before that I was already planning to review them and let the people know how great their customer service was. After their kindness and generosity I will definitely be coming back here to purchase my next firearm.

This place is awesome, especially if you like the AR-15 rifle. Darin the owner and the rest of the staff have always been very kind and helpful in answering my questions about the AR-15 weapon platform such as cleaning, parts and accessories, installation and removal etc. So grateful for Bountiful Armory and the freedoms and liberty we still have in Utah.

Nice people working there, but their prices are absolutely insane.I have a soft spot for single shots and they have one for sale. Its older, scratches and chips all over the wood, hammer was missing its tail, barrel was extremely dirty and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years; definitely not worth $169.00 but they wouldnt budge on price.Ammo prices were out the roof as well. I always try to go to small local dealers, but Im not paying 40 bucks for a box 22lr that I can go get for 25.

Absolutely top notch gun store! If they dont have it they can get it and are amazing to work with! They make you feel like a regular on your first visit and give top notch advice. It is so nice to deal with a friendly staff that works with your knowledge and skill level!

Great small local gun shop. This a new shop, but I hope theyre around for a long time. I think its usually the owners working behind the counter and theyre both knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely leans toward the black guns side of the spectrum, but theyll order anything or do the transfer for you. Good ammo selection. Convenient location, but not real obvious if youre not looking for it. Open until 7:00 pm on weeknights, which is extremely convenient.

Great experience! Great customer service! I got greeted right away and they had a used Marlin 336 exactly what I wantd at a good price. Really good price on ammo of all calibers. I will be returning for any and all future purchases

The shop is super neat and organized and doesnt smell dirty and gross mixed in with Hoppes #9 like a certain store we used to shop at. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. You feel very welcome to stay and ask as many questions as you want. They are really good about their customer service and if you need something ordered, they do whatever they can to get you what you need. They have a great selection of guns with competitive pricing. My kids even have a special spot on one of their bottom shelves near the back that they use to place pretend in. I highly recommend this place.

The 1st couple of times I went there it was awesome very helpful purchased a few things I love that, went there Just recently and there was an older employee behind the counter who is very disrespectful to me I will not shop there again Id rather go to Salt Lake City than shop here. I served 10 years in the Marine Corps I will not be treated like this

Horrible service!UPDATE:We had been waiting for an item. We were told about 2 weeks. The item was paid for. We had done our due diligence and called to check on our item. Every time it was not in. A month later we had found out the item we purchased was not available. Every time we have called the person on the other line has talked down to us because We had not been called. Had We been told the status of our item it would had been great service, instead it wasnt. We have only heard good things about your store and had high hopes. We were very disappointed in the service.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Glad I discovered this little shop. Dont let the size fool you, they have plenty of stuff in stock. Anything they dont have they can order for you. I was looking for a black Glock 19 Gen4. They were out at the moment (had it in only other colors at the time), but they ordered it for me and got it in only a few days. This will definitely be my #1 gun store going forward.

After leaving Cabellas store (waiting at the gun counter for 25 mins with no one even asking if I needed help) I decided to stop by Bountiful Armory. I know now that there is no reason to ever go back to Cabellas when it comes to firearms, accessories and ammunition. The guys here were awesome. I was immediately greeted and helped the whole time I was there. He gave advice and in the end he recommended a more affordable option elsewhere, he easily could have pushed for the sale! I will for sure be back to buy in the future. Thanks again!

Friendliest staff at any gun store I have ever been to in Utah and I have been to every single store in the SLC valley. They will take the time to assist you without talking down to you. I enjoy the family atmosphere you get when you deal with the employees at Bountiful Armory.

Its an outstanding little gun store with a great staff. The staff all had great personalities, and were very knowledgeable about every facet of their business. I was surprised by the variety present. They had the usual ARs and handguns that most small shops have, but also had a great selection of 22 rifles and pistols, and historical/collectible guns. They also carry silencers. In addition to sales and permit classes, they also have some gun-smithing and customization capabilities present. I absolutely love independent little shops like this. this shop in particular seems to have just a little more, and do just a little more, then most of the shops that are around the same size.

Disappointing.Not sure what those people are raving about. Sales woman has a cold attitude, prices are much higher than elsewhere, sadly, Ive met friendlier service at Walmart.

Its small but the service is excellent. Bounus points for them providing a first responder discount. Would highly recommend.

I am a first time gun buyer and the staff at bountiful armory were very, very helpful. They didnt have what I wanted in stock, but I used them as my FFL dealer for an online purchase and they did a wonderful job.

This place is sweet. They are super helpful and informative. They kick Cabelas ass when it comes to price and service.

Theres a total difference between going to a business and having someone help you and be cordial and going to a business and having someone be extremely helpful and over the top nice. This is the kind of businesses that offers the latter. I havent received this kind of customer service since I dont know when. The owner and some employees were working when I went in and they are the most helpful, knowledgeable guys Ive worked with. They sold me a glock and cleaned/inspected my old one. Just couldnt be more pleased. Ill never buy a firearm or ammo anywhere else!

Its nice to see a gun shop in my hometown. Its not as stocked as some of the bigger chains, but the prices are good and the staff is friendly and genuine. The custom AR-15s they have are definitely worth checking out.I only stopped in to have a look, but im impressed, whenever i have enough play money to spend ill make this my first shop. Local business is the way to go!

I have done more business with Darren than any other shop locally for the last year. He treats every customer like the only customer. He has spent countless hours building rifles and teaching people to build their own rifles. His mindset carries over to his staff, they carry good quality products, at reasonable prices. Ive been satisfied with all of my purchases, And have always had good experiences; including a previously built (tempermental) 300BLK that he spent his time to help me correct the gas issues.

Stopped by for the first time today to pick up some ammo most definitely they gained a customer for life staff is super friendly and helpful with anything you could think of one of the best in Utah

Great store with a very friendly staff. I purchased an EAA windacator there for about 150 less than ones I found on utahgunexchange. I also took my ccw class there. Certain ammo is just a little bit more expensive than gallensons but some ammo is cheaper with much much better service. All the magpul stuff seems to be quite a bit cheaper than other gun stores. Ive never had a negative experience there so I dont believe I need to ever shop anywhere else again.

I went to buy a gun and when I walked in the lady behind the desk seemed annoyed that I was there. I asked a few questions about the device and she answered I dont know or answered as if my husband didnt know anything, even though it was a completely legitimate question. So, my problem is that we left there, no gun, and poor customer service. She is in the business of selling items. I used to manage a burger joint selling burgers for ten dollars... WITH A SMILE. Shes selling GUNS at HUNDREDS of dollars... yet she doesnt even have the courtesy of pretending to be happy and taking our money. The store owner is nice and happy and I have no problems with him, but she doesnt need to be handling ANY deals with the customers, because shes going to loose a lot of money for the business if she continues to act that way.

Terrible ornery angry lady couldnt even waste 3 minutes of her time answering 2 questions I had for a gun already decided on for purchase.Screw it, CABELAS offers at the very least a smile for my money.And the Concealed Class at this place consists of an ANTI OBAMA, ANTI PELOSI discussion followed by the instructions LDS Mission talking, all about his cats life, and his food taste. Oh, btw, thanks for wasting 4 hours of my time to give me 15 minutes of actual Gun pertinent info. If all you want is a signed form in exchange for some guys LDS Mission info and his cats life, this is the place. If you need real information and education, go elsewhere.
