I go here wirh my kids for the soft chocolate ice cream. The girls need to be trained how to put the ice cream on the cone. It should not be a small blob of ice cream on the cone. Looking like a mushroom! It should be swirled up! Please train these kids how to make cones!!!!

Just how a dairy Queen should be. You cant go inside. They dont serve food. I still miss the tradition of them closing every winter because I dont get that the dairy Queens open first day of spring type of feeling anymore.

Im thinking our local DQ is in need of newer or maybe an additional ice cream machine. The last 2 or 3 times weve gone, the lines have been long and the blizzards have been more like soupy milk shakes. 😕

They let me change my order at the window from ice cream sandwich to fully bar. Due to my roommate getting sick and flushing teeth in toilet in accident. Realized he would not be able to chew his favorite treat. They were very sweet about the whole thing. Thats good service!

Management is either too relaxed or just has an overall staff with terrible prioritization capabilities. They got people closing lines with people who have been waiting for a long time while pulling up people who just got there to the next window. After standing there waiting for 10 minutes just to move to another window as it opened up by the shift lead, the shift lead decided to help 1 person and then turn around and start helping with production, thus making me stand another 8 minutes in a new line, while my old line was still ringing people through. You can only be so kind and patient for so long before you have to realize the incompetency is real and theyre not just having a busy rush or a one off day.

We love playing Pokemon Go at ONU and being able to walk across the street afterwards to get ice cream, especially on hot summer days.

Its a great place to hangout on a warm summer night, however theres some stuff that bothers me.the ice cream: dairy queens ice cream has been tasting worse to me over the years. Theres just something creepy in it that makes me cough, and something about the taste seems off.Efficiency: theres always a big crowd outside and thats because of the way you order. Currently they have two windows, each with a register. You order, they make it, you get it and pay-all at one window. It seems that it could be so much more efficient if on window took all the orders and payments, and the other was a dedicated pick up window. Maybe they have a reason for this current system, but I dont get it.Overall: great atmosphere, cheaper than oberweis (significant sacrifice though), plenty of seating, and a very friendly staff.

This particular Dairy Queen, is one of our favorites, when were in this area. They honor all DQ specials that come weekly on their app. The quality of the products are always great. This DQ reminds me of one we used to go to when I was kid. Top quality.

Good, but the dilly bars looked funky. Not sure what happened but they melted off the stick pretty fast.

Every time I go to dairy Queen I end up getting the ice cream cuz its my favorite I havent tried any of the other menu items that are not ice cream but the ice cream is good even if you are starving and want to eat a high-protein meal I recommend getting the ice cream its a very delicious and ice cream is better than the other not ice cream

Drive through is a bit hard to get into, but treats are delicious! Across the street from Olivet Nazarene, it probably was more busy than I ever saw it, but the drive-through service was great! Not too long waiting. Location serves only ice cream and other cold treats, nothing hot or meals

Its a Dairy Queen, just like every other Dairy Queen in EVERY other small town across the United States. Maybe you like it, maybe you dont, but its always the same. This experience/visit did not disappoint. The atmosphere and products were exactly as anticipated.

Ice cream is pretty good. Little pricey. Main issue is they are incredibly slow. Even when they arn’t busy, your gonna wait awhile. The drive thru is a complete time eater. 20-30 min like every time.

I had a mini turtle pecan blizzard, which I love, made really fast by a very sweet young lady. It was delicious of course.

Very disappointed with the drive-thru service. My blizzards were prepared way ahead of my arrival at the window. They were all melted needed a straw...

The ice cream is just like everywhere else but they make it impossible to use the app. They say that coupons must be printed to be valid yet you cant redeem the coupon until you check into the location.

There good. But there prices keep going up.

Drive through is the worst configuration for the streets its attached to. Cardboard drink holders fail to hold most containers.

I went though drive thru and only ordered one small blizzard. The entire visit took about 20 minutes. The blizzard was made incorrectly and had barely anything in it. You could make it to the DQ on the west side of Kankakee and back in the time it took here and at least they actually put a decent amount if toppings in their blizzards.

We also stood in line for almost 3 mins with no help from the 7 or 8 people working. The drive thru seemed to be getting all the attention. The employees were hustling as they were busy but with as many times as any one of them went by the window not one time did they make eye contact or anything. We ordered 2 french silk blizzards. And 1st they couldnt find them on the order screen then our blizzards just sucked. This is the only kind we ever order...there were no pie crust cookie parts.barely any chocolate, no whip cream or shaved chocolate. If they didnt know how to make them they should have been honest. What we got was a cob job...maybe because they were busy. Still very disappointing.
