This is a nice butcher shop. Everything inside is neat and cleanly. The price list is written on a large chalk board to your left as you walk in the door. It is probably a good idea to start here. (I didnt see this and was a little surprised by the the price of the four 3/4 inch ribeyes I ordered, but that was my own fault.) They have a wide selection of sauces and even carry some charcoal and wood. Youll likely have some time to browse while they gather your order.

After my first visit to this butcher, I will never buy my steaks anywhere else again! They were an incredible quality of meat and the price was more reasonable than I expected for a locally owned butcher. They also had a wide variety of smoked and packaged meats, squid ink pasta, fresh baked breads, desserts, and shelves of spices and sauces. The most memorable part of our visit was the service and the genuine appreciation they showed for their customers. We highly recommend you make a visit to our new local favorite place!

Always excellent, I drive 60 miles round trip just to shop there! The smoked pork chops are fantastic. The breakfast sausage is killer! The soft ball sirloin melts in your mouth! Every meat we have ever had there has been great. Rian and his staff are knowledgeable about there meats and are always good with the customers.

This place is absolutely wonderful have the best meat and the staff is awesome they make sure you get exactly what you ask for.

I don’t have one” she walked out and we won’t return, building is very small and no mask in there will be a breeding ground for COVID imo

Wow! All I can say is, Wow!! This was my first time in the Fatted Calf Meat Market and I bought meat for a pot roast, hamburger, aged ham, and bison (out of bison at moment), local honey, and real maple syrup. I hurried home and pulled out my George Forman grill to make a cheese burger. I took a bite and seriously, it has been a long time since I had burger meat this good. I think we have forgotten what good meat tastes like because everything is commercialized. I put in my diary, Best burger since I cant remember when! I will be back.

I felt as if I was calling an auto body shop run by kindergartners who had no idea how to sharpen a crayon without getting a paper cut when all I wanted was to order a turducken! Their meat is super high quality. It far exceeds anything that you buy from the grocery store. They are always so polite everytime I come in! I just tried their steak rub for the first time and it was absolutely delicious.

If there was a 6 star option this place would deserve it through and through. Excellent service and selection. Really just unmatched.

We bought a brisket from them and it was one of the best briskets Ive ever had. They are super helpful too if you are first time smokers!

Very friendly staff. We arrived after closing time to find a line of people and cheerful staff even though they were working overtime assisting us and others without grumbling. 2nd visit and now I know why my son-in-law likes to go there.

The bacon burgers are amazing! I dont care for burgers at all but the wife and kids love them. I have to admit tho these burgers turned out great and I even enjoyed them veey much. Best burger I have ever had cooked at home maybe. I also, got some of the chocolate milk and my son really likes it. It is very thick and chocolatey. Will definitely be a return customer.

I dont like how they do business here. I used to buy JDs milk and cream here until I found out that its way cheaper everywhere else that Ive bought it at. They also dont refund your deposits when you return the bottle like theyre supposed to. Jimmy Diemers has the milk way cheaper and they are honest and actually pay you your deposit back on the bottle.

Fatted Calf is a local butcher that uses local source products...they volunteer and help the community they live in. Always helpful, polite, friendly...only the best quality. I come in Friday before Super Bowl, might need 50 chicken quarters...they say NO PROBLEM JOE, well have me ready...I come in Saturday, they are packed up and ready to go. Reasonable prices..great quality...made myself hungry writing this. Going tomorrow for a couple dozen eggs, 2 lbs thick cut bacon, 4 or 5 center cut 1 pork chops, some bacon-cheeseburger patties for my nephews and some wild Texas BBQ Sauce...so there! One thing..your parking ....is....well...challenging...lol
