Always helpful! Willing to help! Friendly and courteous. Nice selection of products to.
I enjoy the staffs willingness to take time out of their day to explain options, parts, services and merchandise. The employees are always more than happy to help, no matter the customers knowledge level. The prices are fair and in-line with the market, as well as online retailers. However, with online shopping, you dont get the one on one experience that Cyclewerks has to offer. Thank you for what you do, and they way you do it!
Expert friendly service from guys that really know their bikes.
The CycleWerks staff were professional, helpful, and just plain nice! I did purchase a Trek bicycle and upgrades for it. I was very satisfied with the prices and it was good to shop local.Debbie Loprete
Couldn’t be happier! Wonderful staff that were all very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about my bike. Will definitely be returning.

Very helpful staff, answered my questions and concerns. Very happy with my new bike!
Couldn’t be happier. We were in looking for a first bicycle for our 3YO grandson. Parker answered all of our questions. My wife also needs a mid-range, hybrid type bicycle, and I need some accessories for my own. I was happy with all of the answers and suggestions he provided. I’ve never been disappointed with the service I’ve had here.
Couldn’t be happier with service and my new Bike!!! Appreciate all the help and advice and most of all ending up with the bike that was right for me!! Thanks so much!
The merch is great quality and the staff are super nice and helpful! 5 stars :)
Knowledgeable, helpful staff and good products.
CycleWerks has been my bicycle shop of choice for almost six years now. Tim and the team at their Bowling Green shop showed their expertise and great patience as I replaced my 20 year-old road bike with a much lighter carbon fiber road bike equipped to meet my needs. In addition their mechanics have been great keeping my favorite hardtail fat-tire bike rolling. Thank you Cyclewerks!
I had a great experience Saturday, I believe that I was helped by Parker? I hope my memory is correct because he deserves to be recognized for being so helpful. I have been trying to find a bike trailer for my 3 year old for weeks, with no luck at all. I randomly stumbled upon Cycle Werks while looking online again, called and spoke to Parker, and was in the shop and out the door with my new bike trailer in less than 20 minutes. He was super helpful and I really appreciated him taking the time to show me the features of my new purchase. We love our new trailer and already have taken it out several times.
Walked in the store to meet the staff because I just got a brand new bike and have moved back to Bowling Green, so I wanted to become familiar with who would be servicing my bike because I am always getting things adjusted after hard riding. One of the younger employees was very rude and not helpful at all. All I came in for was to get some of my spokes tighten after breaking in the new bike and he wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, claiming it was a tune up fee. He know nothing about the bike and he said Im not really a wheel guy I could not believe what I heard from a bike mechanic. I then asked manager Tim if he could do the same thing (just tighten a couple spokes) but he was busy. I walked out very annoyed and will probably never be servicing my bike here.
Great service and products. They were very helpful with setting my daughters up with bikes. I will be a long time customer because of the great service Parker and Tim provided. Oh yeah, the Trek bikes they sell are worth every penny.
Stop in to purchase a new seat for my wife bike which we purchased a couple of years ago. Sales person was very helpful and installed the new seat was in and out in 20minutes. good help good job. Thanks
My wife and I recently had our bicycles tuned up and prepped for another season of riding. CycleWerks BG staff were informative, helpful, and kind to us. As soon as we were back on our bikes, we noticed how much attention to detail their crew provided. So happy with this local business.
What a great experience. Due to covid lots of people were getting work done. They gave me a date my bike would be worked on and got it done that day. Prompt and friendly. Really enjoy having my bike back and on the road again
The CycleWerks staff promptly answered my telephone call and questions concerning new tires for my old LaTour II. I was running behind for my drop off time. They were kind enough to stay a few extra minutes to let me unload my bike and write up the work order. The bike was completed as quoted and on time too. I would recommend CyclesWerks for a job well done at a reasonable price.
Great experience, awesome products and service. Good People!Great Value.
Excellent service extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to go back!
Friendly staff, good variety of parts and accessories and nice casual atmosphere. I enjoyed browsing without feeling pressure.
The guy there was so rude! Didnt want to tell me about my bike just kept saying your gonna have to wait a month I just wanted to know what it was called my bike handle that is.
Great service.Diego at the Bowling Green store was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. Would highly recommend.
I bought 2 bikes from Cycle Werks and both experiences were great! The first bike I bought for my wife and we both loved the way we were treated by the owner and salespeople. No, we are not big time bike people but we were treated like it. They explained the importance of getting the right bike to fit the needs of the rider and then did a fine job of setting one up for my wife. She loves her bike and in fact, we ended up buying a trainer so that she can ride it in the winter months. For me I bought a hybrid. I loved the fact that there were many prices and styles to choose from. I ended up purchasing an excellent bike that fulfills my needs as an average cyclist. The staff and support team at Cycle Werks are phenomenal and I highly recommend that when you go shopping for a bike or have questions about biking to stop in here.
Clean store and very helpful and friendly staff.
Highly recommend CycleWerks for your bicycle needs. Very knowledgeable and friendly received great customer service when we stopped in for some new brakes for my bicycle. Will definitely come back for all of our bicycle needs.
Great service! I cant run anymore because of very bad knees. Cycling causes my neck to hurt and hands to go numb. They spent a generous amount of time showing and allowing me to demo their Eliptigo. I purchased it and absolutely love it. It has given me a new lease on life since I can now go outside and get a great aerobic exercise without joint pain. They where very helpful in the decision process. Thank you!
They have always done great work on whatever I have brought to them. I have an older Trek road bike that they did a great job tuning up. They were also very helpful picking out a helmet for me that met my price range and needs. Whenever I enter the store I am greeted and they do a great job answering any questions I have.
Great staff selling and servicing awesome bikes. This is my favorite local bike shop! Manager Tim Book is very knowledgeable and professional while making you feel like family.
CycleWerks was very helpful during my visit and is quite knowledgeable on the products they offer.
I had a very good experience here that was quick and professional! I bought a tire tube and a brake cable with the housing. Diego replaced my tube on the spot for $10. Will go back for any future bike parts and service.
New to cycling and folks working at cycle werks really helped me find the bike that i needed to reach my goals . Excited for the future
The new owner is consistently rude every time I go in this store. He talks down to customers, acts like he is better, and rolls his eyes if a simple question is asked. I used to love coming here but I will never shop here again.
I have boight 2 bikes from them, and all went well. I like the shop and people. They always have a good variety of bikes to choose from.
Bought a bike, had excellent service and Tim was very patient in working with me to get just the right bike. Definitely recommend.
When I first visited Cycle Werks two years ago as a sophomore attending BGSU I was very intimidated by the high priced professional equipment throughout the shop. Overall I thought Cycle Werks was not meant for college students and geared towards assisting customers with post college budgets and pricey hobbies. Thankfully the staff members quickly proved me wrong and have provided great consistent service.During my first visit I had my front tire replaced + bought a fancy basket all totaling $90 - which is a large dent in my pocket as a college student. I came back two years later because my chain came off and my gears were on the fritz. The staff members remembered me and my bike and did a quick fix right on the spot for free.Overall great investment if youre willing to shell out a little cash for good quality products and services for long term use. Cycle Werks is the best bang for your buck.
Staff was helpful and paid attention to details during my recent search for a new bike. Thanks Tim!
I got back into road cycling in 2013 after a ten-year absence, and the guys at Cycle Werks were fantastic in helping me with all my equipment needs. I was shocked to read some of the reviews on here that seem to focus on casual riders not being treated well, but also noticed that these are from years ago so Im assuming things have changed significantly since then (if there ever truly was an issue!). I have a Trek Madone 5 series and am a semi-serious cyclist, but Ive also been in the store when theyve been helping out families and many of these other casual riders. I never noticed an attitude or lack of desire to help them. All I can say from my experience is the staff have been tremendous. They are extremely knowledgable and take a consultative approach to selling, rather than just steering you to the first thing you mention. They are also very familiar with all the area bike groups and rides, so can help people like myself get in touch with other cyclists. The showroom is clean, modern, and well laid out with a good product selection. The only thing Id like to see more of is nutrition products, other than that its awesome!
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable
Awesome knowledgeable staff. Very helpful
Great service, all I can say is their manager is a hunk
I had both my bikes serviced here, and they messed things up on both of them!! Serious things. One bike’s back caterpillar brake hardly works, the front brake needs to be pushed back up after use, and the chain falls off changing from 1 to 2 gear. The other, the rear wheel is lose! And it clicks like mad no matter the gear it’s in.AND neither bike’s tires had appropriate air pressure. And the “tune-ups” weren’t cheap.
Knowledgeable staff. Very friendly!
Extremely pleased with the full tune-up and repairs to my fuji, they have some interesting items in the shop as well.
Great products and outstanding service!
Amazing service and even better looking employees
I took an old bike to Cycle Werks two summers ago. It needed tuning, and they did a great job and replaced a wheel. It was quick and inexpensive.Ive out grown that bike and just recently bought a used road bike. This bike was in immaculate condition for being from 1985, and I was told so by the guy at the counter when I brought it in. I just wanted a general tuning to make sure everything was perfect before I started using it for long distance rides. Initially, he told me to come back in 7 days to pick my bike up. This was for a basic tuning. Seemed pretty long, but I was ready to deal with that. I called back on the 6th day to make sure it would be ready. I was told at that time that I would need a new rear wheel or the ride would be bumpy. They didnt have my size wheel in stock (27) and said that they would have to order it. They said it would be ready within 4 days. This was already annoying. I call back after 5 days. The guy answering the phone informed me that my bike was in the group that were put on the service list on March 28th, and that they havent started on those yet. I had brought the bike in on the 21st, not the 28th. He then told me that they hadnt ordered the wheel yet, but they had an aluminum wheel that I could buy for twice the price. Very slick, guys. Anyway, Im fed up so Im just going to pick the bike up and ride it a little bumpy until I can get another wheel ordered from a different bike shop. I dont think Ill be going back. All that aside, I agree with everyone else that they do not do a very good job helping with information. They did make me feel stupid for asking the questions I was asking, but I am not a bike expert. And I never got the answers I needed out of them either.
Took my Bike in to get freshened up and adjusted, great price, better workmanship. Please support this business
Previously, this place wasnt that bad. Under the new ownership, I wouldnt spend a penny here. I called for a repair, couldnt fit the repair in their busy schedule for a week. I literally watched a video on Youtube and fixed it myself in 5 minutes. Poor salesman experience in my opinion.
Great service, great bikes and the manager is a hunk.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Very helpful and knowledgeable
