This store is a TOTAL mess, they need more employees to help put stock away. You can NOT even get through the isles to shop. There is soooo much stuff and carts of stock just sitting in the way.

This is the worst store of any kind I have EVER been to. Its surprising to me that it is even open. This store is a disaster. The shelves are NEVER stocked, but I know they HAVE the stock, because it sits in all of the aisles in your way, while the employees smoke and play on their phones or argue with each other (yes i have seen all of these happen). The employees are rude, and there was one point in time where this store smelled like rotted meat. I have found numerous cans/coke bottles/ Starbucks cups half drank in the aisle. Corporate should be embarrassed.

Wonderful selection of items!!....and very friendly customer service most of the time!!...when the more experienced cashiers are there....the newer ones seem to be lost and confused at times...but they try....overall good store to go to compared to other dollar general stores in bowlinggreen ...

Well theyre all great good deals but the morgantown rd store has the short dark skinned girl whom not only is kind sweet and always more than helpful her additude is trully amazing and its contagious too so if your just a sour shelly dont go cause her kindness might just rub off on ya🤗🙌😁

A lot of their shelves are empty and even though they expanded,it seems very tight and crowded. They do have a variety of items from garden,decor,food and clothes.

Disorganized. Didnt have individually wrapped candy in large bag, mints, hard candy, etc. No party supplies (clear bowls for candy). Left and went to Dollar Tree. Needed for a booth table for an event in the area.

The Dollar a general is my spot. The last two times ive been in Ms. Heather has been at the register and she is very nice.

The only reason I am giving this location 3 stars is because the cashier and customers were great.Otherwise the store shelves were a wreck, some were empty, the isles always seem to be packed with stock(THIS HAPPENS AND ALMOST EVERY DOLLAR GENERAL!) then you can almost bet there still be one poor soul that has to endure their shift and try to accomplish stocking, facing product, and waiting on customers by themselves. I know that they are under paid, under staffed, and unorganized. I was so glad that this cashier and the customers still had a smile on their faces and we were joking in line to pass time while waiting. Thats what made a difference at this location.

They will never answer the phone and I walked all the way there to return something and the cashier was terribly rude and said she was not able to do returns and the other employee on duty was not either. She also was rude explaining this to me. So basically only the manager can issue a return. I wasnt even asking for money. I just wanted to exchange the item. I know the cashier lied to me and if not, I think it is very unprofessional to allow customers to wait until a manager is on duty . in my case it would have been 4 days until the manager would be back. I think this store does not even deserve 1 star

This Dollar General is always clean and the workers are friendly. Its a little out of my way (there is one closer) but I tend to goto this one due to it being more organized.

Not a fan of any Dollar General Store any more. However I do like getting clearance items when there 50% off they also give 5 off 25. I wont go out of my way to go to any DGS.

I like DG and the selections they have. The parking sucks!

Always clean and well organized. Great to grab a few small things you need. Staff is always kind, quick, and courteous.

Nice staff who can always direct you to something if you cant find it. Pretty good prices and a clean store. Good location is close to us so were there all the time and know the employees like friends, but good stop for something quick and usually no lines.

The store was clean and neat. I have been in some DG stores that you couldnt walk through. Not this one! The cashier was very nice I might add!

I was pleased with my purchases at the store, and checkout line wasnt too long. While browsing, I did overhear a fellow shopper (it was a couple) say theyre light on toys response well, we did wait hoping for markdowns...so what we wanted is sold out. Not saying it was a bad thing, but for the procrastinators out there, have gift plan B,C,D even Z in mind.

I left Dollar store but I think all dollar stores are junkie I think somebody needs to go in and clean it its just a pass so you can get to one spot to the other its accident waiting to happen

Walked in for the first time in several years. The store was a disaster, you could barely walk as product was just laying on the floor. I grabbed what I needed as I normally do not shop here but it was on the way home from a long trip. When I went to check out, two young women were cleaning up a spill and as I stood at the check one, the woman who came to help me let out the loudest sigh as if it were a pain to check me out with my pruchase. Never said hello, or even a have a good day. I normally never shop here, because the products are over priced, the store is a mess and every one Ive been to has horrible service. I learned my lesson to stick stay away.

Favorite store to do my house hold, some grocery shopping, and etc.... Plus the dollar general always has good deals all the Time

OK for discount chain, store was clean shelves organized and neatly kept.

I hate shopping at dollar general. The stores are always a mess and the employees are always rude. I was in the area and I had to stop and get one thing and didn’t feel like going into Meijer. So I stopped here and it was just like always. Stuff laying on the floor, the store was a mess and the cashier actually sighed and gave me attitude, because she had to check me out. Sorry you have to do your job, that’s what they pay you for. Don’t give customers attitude, just because you hate your job.

It was awful. The heavy set girl with her hair died red. Is very rude like she doesnt want to be there. And she also wear glasses. Something needs to be dont. Other customers were also taking about her. Bad for buisness.

It is not the dollar store anymore for their prices on some things are more then then Walmart. But they are convenient and faster.

Courteous staff, plenty of selections and good prices as always.
