Had a good experience with EPA. Unfortunately I didnt buy a bow here, which is not their fault. Sometimes it is tough being left-handed as there are not a lot of readily available bows. I did get treated very well here though. I dont have a lot of archery experience, almost none, but the guys here didnt treat me like I didnt l know anything. They were very helpful and eager to answer my 100 plus questions. Definitely worth checking them out if you are in the market for some archery equipment.

Best bow shop in Gallatin County. I have been here many times over the past few years for a multitude of reasons, ranging from trying our new bows, to repairs on equipment I didnt even buy there. Along with cutting arrows and general information to help out myself and my wife become better shooter.

Jim and his staff are top notch. My husband and I have been going specifically to Jim for years for all our archery needs. The other shops around town seem to all have the same too cool for school mentality. All I want is unbiased expertise so I can come in and ask for whatever best suits what I need. Like today, I got the right arrows for a fraction of the cost. If you want down to earth, every day people that shoot themselves and love what they do then head on over. Not to mention the best range in the valley... Im actually extremely surprised to see any negative reviews. Its also very ironic they all came at the same time. Trust me when I say this, I dont follow trends, and I could care less about whats cool. These guys really love what they do and theyll treat you right! No gimmicks!

The only shop I use in the area. I had a new string and sights put on my bow then tuned. Bow shoots great leading me to shoot a trophy mule deer.

I went into Extreme Performance Archery with 45 min to spare before a bow course. I had no idea what I needed but knew I needed it done in 30 min or less. Jim and the guys graciously accepted the challenge and had me out the door with an amazing set up and time to spare. They helped me pick out the items that would suit me the best and were full of knowledge. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure i had a clear understanding. My setup is perfect. Havent had a single complaint! I wont ever go anywhere else. Highly recommended!

I was interested in learning how to shoot a bow, but knew nothing about them. The guys at Extreme let me try out a few, and were very helpful. I ended up shooting the short 4 week league last winter and look forward to participating again this winter. I would recommend the shop to anyone, but especially women interested in learning more about the sport.

Jim and the crew at the shop have always shown outstanding service when I visit the shop. If an issue arises they handle it. I have seen them fix problems that most would not. You can please everyone but these guys will sure give it a go. The 24/7 range is an added bonus.

Since Extreme Performance Archery opened, Ive been shooting leagues there, as well as looking for any archery-related items, or information, Ive needed over the years. Ive also made good use of the 24-hour range, especially for sighting in various bows over the years, when you need to concentrate in order to shoot as precisely as possible. Also, Ive always been treated well, and have even gotten good prices for several archery items for friends from out of town. Generally speaking, from what Ive seen, EPA personnel has made the effort to greet incoming customers, within a reasonable time, depending of course on what work they may be in the middle of when customer(s) arrive. The shop has changed ownership about 5+- months ago, and is settling into the new ownership, as well as making each customer feel like theyre important, and valuable, to Extreme Performance Archery. The current EPA owner has been in the archery business for approximately 20+ years (my best guess), and is rarely stumped on any archery-related issue or problem. If you havent already checked them out, give them a visit!!

Without question the absolute best customer service experience Ive ever had in an archery shop. Had a crazy freak accident with my bow and broke the string. With a day and a half left of access to a ranch I hunt, I was pretty sure my season was over. Went straight to the shop from the tree to see what they could do. They had me back on the road dialed in with a new string in two hours. Very detail oriented and thorough. Absolutely cant recommend these guys highly enough. They earned a customer for life.

Ive been going to Extreme since 2013 and have always found the customer service excellent. I shoot traditional and theyre always willing to repair my arrows, even ones not purchased in-house. The range membership is a fantastic deal as well; getting 24/7 access to a heated, indoor 55yard range is great with as long and cold as the winters get here. Ive gone to other pro shops, which I will not name here, and none of them compare to the quality of products and service.

As a new archer these guys really took the time to show me how to shoot. Got a free lesson when I bought my bow and in no time I was dialed in. Family friendly environment! Look no further than these guys for all things archery!

Been shooting for 40 plus years and Jim and Travis still teach me a thing or two. They have the passion and knowledge that every Bow Hunting enthusiast needs! I had an issue with my Matthews bow and within 30 minutes my bow was good to go. Service from XPA and warranty from Matthews golden.

Cant begin where to start with Jim, Travis and the rest of the staff. I have been a member of the indoor range for about six months now and they have been so accommodating in allowing my kids to come in and shoot with me. I am not personal friends with Jim or Travis so all of these one star reviews saying that its a good ole boys club and that friends only are writing reviews are inaccurate.

Worst pro shop on the planet! They are over priced, Do not care to fix anything not purchased there, and think way to highly of themselves. The way they tried to fix my bow and treated my Girl fiend who was looking for a bow was completely unacceptable. Do your self a favor and stay away from there! the headache is not worth it! Sportsmans has better service and theirs is your typical sporting goods mentality and service. Look elsewhere you will be far happier!

Was in the Bozeman area on a hunt. I had fallen on my bow and broke the string. I called all over town and no one stocked the string I needed. Jim, the owner, told me to bring it in and he would make a string that night! He stayed late and got my Hoyt( which he doesnt sell) shooting better than ever! I cannot believe the customer service these guys have!!! Cannot thank you enough for saving my hunt!

I am an avid Bowhunter of 22 years. I use and abuse my gear to the extreme . That being said I am very paticular who works on my equipment. Jim and his staff are polite professional and most importantly reliable when it come to getting your equipment in top working order. There is no one else in the state I would trust as much.

These guys are awesome. I moved out of Bozeman a year ago but came back for an archery trip. Was in the field day1 and had a bow malfunction almost an hour away. It was a Friday afternoon around 3:50pm. We got cell Service just in time to call the shop to see if they could help since I was leaving the following Monday and had plans for an early Saturday. These guys not only stayed open until I got there so I could drop my bow off- the owner just couldn’t bring himself to leave me hanging on a Saturday morning hunt— he stayed almost till 7pm that night to re-string and re-tune my bow so I could get after it the next morning. Above and Beyond customer service and downright the coolest people that “get it”. Even if I live out of state- I’ll always buy my future bows/archery products from this store. The best in central Montana.

Cant for the life of me figure out where these negative reviews came from. Ive never heard a bad word said about Jim and his team, and I personally have had nothing but positive experiences at Extreme Performance Archery.
