Not a bad store. Overall nice place and selections, but the associate who worked with me was a complete A hole. Didnt get her name but she had some purple highlights and some choice words. Youd think the roles were reversed since I remained polite and she was belligerent. I wont be supporting this store if these are the type of people theyre hiring.

Michaels is great! Custom framing is affordable AND the work is first rate. I didnt know until recently that you can buy a frame off the shelf and then have the pros here custom mat it. These two prints pictured here wouldve been close to $800 custom framed. Instead it was just a bit over $200. Since my poster addiction is strong, Michaels is going to be getting a lot of my money whilst saving me thousands! Both Sonora and Courtney are great. Courteous, patient and professional. Turnaround time is super speedy as well, 2 days max so far.

If I could give zero stars I would, associates were extremely rude because they wanted to leave early. So they disobeyed corporate policy cleaning areas and closing store facilities prior to store closing ours.

Every time I’ve been in here I can’t find an associate to help me and when I finally have I get the worst attitude. Maybe they’re lacking good applicants I don’t know but something needs to change. Will no longer go here even though it’s been my go to place for years, hobby lobby has my business now.

This location seems to be struggling with the same staffing woes as many businesses, as it was difficult to find assistance in the isles. That didnt prevent the cashier from being very friendly and helpful during checkout, though!

Clean with a helpful, friendly staff. Wide selection of crafting as well as professional fine art supplies.

This Michaels is a little small, and some of the sections are a little limited compared to other stores Ive been in, but the staff makes up for it by being extra friendly and helpful.

Found everything I needed right away and I was in and out of there fast just how I like it!

I used to work for Michaels as a floral designer and its very sad to see that that floral department is now gone and its a bucket shop nothing like creating something beautiful to give to the people my name is Mary Louise mascot and I work for stores in Denver I worked in Petaluma California and that is my that is how I feel

I found almost everything I was looking for, most of it on sale, paints, brushes, canvas of many sizes and one of those little carts to hold all my art supplies. If we watch for sales, the prices are good. I always have fun looking. Great sale on beads, some were $14.99 down to $2.99! Awesome.

Good experience here. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable, even went the extra mile to help me. Also had an abundance of merchandise I was looking for to choose from. Highly recommend this store.

Great place for crafts.

My Michaels experience was unsatisfactory at best and a dismal waste of my finite human existence at worst.

Walked the entire store looking for a straight edge which I eventually ended up finding by myself after seeing no staff. Waited in line for an extended period of time because there was only 1 person checking. Eventually the manager on duty and another employee came over laughing and joking around and nonchalantly opened another register and checked us out. We specifically asked the checker for a discount code, and though she acknowledged, did not include the code. Next time Ill just go to hobby lobby or Joanne fabric.

I have never felt compelled to write a review for a business or store until now; I am really disappointed with the customer service my sister and I received last week (9/16/2020). The day before, we placed an order for curbside pick-up, and upon arriving and notifying the store we were there, we realized that Michaels ends its curbside pick-up at 6pm - we arrived at 7pm. I called and explained that I didnt realize their curbside pick-up ended an hour before, apologized and was very nice, but asked if there was any way someone would be willing to run the item out (seeing as though they werent very busy, I didnt see that it was a big issue). The girl I spoke to was incredibly rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. I could hear her loudly sighing beneath her breath, and at one point when I offered to park right in front of Michaels, she sarcastically replied well, that IS what curbside pick-up is. Yes it is, but many stores have designated parking spots or will run out to parking lots, so frankly I was being nice. I explained that my mom is sick (she has a brain disease) so my sister and I are avoiding going in places and needed the item by the next day. I know we came late to curbside pick-up, but I was very apologetic over the phone and nice, and having worked in retail before I would never treat a customer as rudely (and sarcastically) as that employee did. Lastly, since curbside pick-up seems to be such an issue (even though many, many places - including restaurants - do it during their peak hours) Michaels should reconsider offering the service since it seems to be such a hassle for their employees. Thank you.

They used to be good but just like everyone else through covid, lazy and use it as an excuse to raise prices, be rude and understock!

I was buying a gift for someone and had no idea what it was that they asked for. Im not a crafty person. The staff totally knew what I was describing (the gal was actually an art major currently in school) and helped me. I left feeling confident that I purchased the correct items.

It is what it is. I went with my wife... they have a clean restroom.

When you wait in line to get waited on only to have the second cashier walk away and let the lone cashier take care of everyone is unbelievable. And stand 3 feet away doing nothing while your coworker works her butt off. Nice employee.

I always love the selection and workers, and they have great stock and many cute products to choose from, no matter what craft you are into. I also get a teacher discount, which really helps!

Just went to the frame shop part of the store to pickup 3 photos on canvas that were done and paid for. Excellent service just like went I went in to place and pay for the order

The associates at this store are very helpful. There is always coupons and deals to take advantage of so you are never walking out paying full price. I frequent this store so often and I have never had a complaint about the service. Expect longer checkout lines during the holidays.

Love Michaels but the Bozeman frame dept has gotten exorbitant in price. Ready made frame deals are still fantastic alternatives. Super friendly.

This is by far the friendliest Michaels Ive been in (Ive been in many in the West). I think they are all stocked the same so its the people that make the difference. I was so happy with my experience there that I finally joined their value club. For the first time, I am a loyal customer!

Variety of craft, decorations and seasonal items for all ages. Got a great deal on Halloween items 70 % off almost a week before Halloween.

Great store but very difficult to find things and know the price. Probably wont utilize much. To time consuming to prep for projects. Saw lots of sale items but unable to determine price. Sales staff not helpful. They would rather socialize. It appeared.

Clean and orderly. Staff is friendly. Framing department here does absolutely fantastic.Staffing level does fluctuate, and when they get busy, especially around the holidays, the whole store can grind to a halt. Much better selection than other craft stores in town.

Its a Michaels... Pretty much what you expect to be there is there. Its expensive unless you game the system with their always available coupons. Id prefer just across the board reasonable prices, but again, its a Michaels so I guess most folks know what theyre in for.

Michaels has more crafts and other things that I never even imagined. I could be in that store for hours getting new ideas on what to craft up next. The one thing that they could improve on is more addentents on the floor to assist us customers.

I can spend hours in this place. It used to be purely unwilling participationñ but recently i found that 36 years old is the perfect time for a man to start scrapbooking. Or a midlife crisis. Not sure which one it will remembered it as yet...

The staff is always friendly and they try to make sure there in never a line. The products always put me in the mood for getting crafty.
