The biggest pain of all being ridiculously overpriced CDW + SLI insurance options averaging at 25-30 USD per day. A deal-breaker for any non-American tourist planning a longer holiday. It was great to get around in my own car my holiday experience with visitor.us was incredible it didnt matter that my resale of my truck was much less then what i paid as it was still half the expense of renting, my truck took me all up and down the west coast of America, it required a good service at the start of my trip and was no problem the rest of the time! such a great way to go. i will definitely do another trip to America with visitor.us again soon!!!

We had an awesome experience with Matt. We had some initial problems in purchasing the Tundra for our 6 month Nth America trip, but Matt contacted the dealer and was able to sort it all out. We managed to catch up with him when we travelled through Bozeman and he also sorted out our MT registration on our camper trailer. Will be looking at selling the Tundra and moving into a MB Sprinter for our next trip and will be using vistor.us again

I’d been planning a motorcycle trip around America with my twin brother for years. The original idea was to take some time between jobs, fly to the U.S, buy a bike, figure out how I could register it and start exploring the country on two wheels. Sadly, for many reasons, the timing never aligned and we couldn’t make it work.In late April, a good friend of mine said he was resigning and wanted to head to the States, so I quickly jumped on the opportunity and we stated planning a trip together. I was able to get four weeks off work so every day was crucial. Once we looked into what was involved it wasn’t as simple as I had thought and getting a bike registered and insured in our own names was going to be difficult and time consuming. I searched the internet for hours looking at all scenarios, eventually finding Matt at visitor.us and reaching out. Right from the start, Matt was incredibly helpful and honest. My brother actually lives in Colorado so he helped to research whether there was an option to use him and his home address to register the bikes more affordably. In the end, we used the service provided and it was a fantastic experience. We communicated with Matt through email and calls, with the three of us all in different times zones. In less than a month we managed to buy two Harleys in our own names, register and insure them (Matt took care of all this). He posted the plates and paperwork to Denver, Co. We landed, bolted the plates on and were on the road the very next day.My biggest concern when planning the trip was wasting time getting the bike organized. The time saved alone is worth the fee for visitor.us. It is also important to consider that visitor.us registers the bikes in Montana where, unlike most US states, there is no sales tax. We had an amazing trip through the Rockies, from Denver to Calgary. We ended up meeting Matt in Montana and spending a night with him. He’s a great guy and I can not speak highly enough of the service provided by Visitor.us.

Thanks to Matt Copenhaver of Visitor.us, a company in Bozeman Montana, I was able to forfill a lifelong goal in 2018 and complete a three month motorcycle trip in the USA. Costwise however, to rent a bike in USA over such a long period was out of the question, and being an Australian citizen meant I couldnt meet the criteria to purchase a motorcycle there, so I was thinking the trip would be a non event - until I found VISITOR.US on line, which Matt founded to arrange and help Australian / NZ, and British tourists buy a vehicle while holidaying in USA. After contacting Matt I decided to utilise his services, and was able to purchase a used Harley online which Matt licenced for me and arranged insurance, and all I literally did was arrive and pick up the keys. I took a 3 month trip around The States and having my own car was the best and cheapest way to do it. visitor.us handled everything and answered any questions I had - theyre a super nice and friendly team! It made the whole process so easy and I honestly could not recommend them highly enough for overseas travellers doing road trips around the US.

We used Matt to register and insure both a Class C Motorhome and a tow car as English citizens in the US.Matt was amazingly helpful and patient and explained everything we needed to know and liaised with both the seller of the RV and my brother in law with great professionalism and knowledge.It was such a relief to have someone to explain the procedures, do the legwork for you and even to arrange insurance for non US nationals with no insurance history in the US.I cannot recommend Visitor.us services highly enough. You could do it yourself but its complicated and stressful and you will lose time from your holiday sorting it all out. Definitely well worth the money!

I had been banging up against every single hurdle and brick wall trying to sort out some wheels for my son, for a 3 month Road Tour of the West Coast. When I finally stumbled across this site/service I initially thought it all seemed too good to be true. But, after some quality discussion, I bit the bullet, took the plunge and signed up. That proved to be a solid decision! Matt genuinely had the answers, the process and everything all worked out, and it all went through like a dream. The boys had a brilliant US adventure and sorting out the wheels was the least hassle of it all!

Matt and the team were amazing! They made the process super easy for us. We first contacted them when are trip was just in the planning stages and they gave us loads of information and put us at ease. When we bought the car, everything was sorted very quickly. On arrival in the US our car was waiting for us with the plates on and off we went. During our trip through Central America at eat Border they seemed to want a different piece of paper, and matt was always on hand to get it to us!WE have our car away at the end of our Trip and Matt helped massively with this too, talking to the charity to make sure everything worked. As non US residents we were unable to insure our overland vehicle that we had bought in Colorado. A quick call to Matt and he had all the paperwork completed really quickly and efficiently so that we were able to start our adventure of the Americas.

Matt was brilliant from the first time we emailed him to helping us tackle tricky situations at Central American borders! We soon learnt that we were the first customers that were heading out of the states and into Mexico, but Matt went above and beyond to ensure we had as much information as possible to help us along our way! If he didn’t know the answer to our question, he knew someone who would which made our trip so much smoother. We travelled for four months from Atlanta to Costa Rica and Matt even met us for a few days in Austin! Without Visitor.us we couldn’t have done what we did, having a car gave us so much more freedom and really added to the experience. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

With visitor.us we were able to buy a new Chev truck and fifth wheel online and get started on our road trip straight away. Great service and would recommend visitor.us to anybody wanted to own their own vehicle or RV.

We have been involved with visitor.us since August 2018 with the purchase of our fifth wheel rv. the fact that we did not arrive in the USA until February 2019 was not an issue for them at all as they handled all the registration transfers and Title requirements without a fuss and kept the new registration plates for us until our arrival. When we purchased our tow vehicle in February we again used visitor.us and were met with the same professional advice.I would not hesitate in recomending them for anyone visiting the USA.
