This was a fun place. Its clean and has a lot of good prices on different books. They also have games, puzzles, music and DVDs. It was a neat place to hang out for awhile!

No mask enforcement obviously sick n high risk people wandering around touching all the books n magazines. No offer to join there club? Were I would have saved $25 kinda bummer when I seen my receipt n had no idea what there club was or that it existed.

Love this store! Its a smaller Barnes and Noble, but thats eaxactly what a bookstore should be. The store is always clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Asher was super helpful and quick at getting me straightened out with a book to order greatly appreciate his help. Love going here too one of my favorite book places in town!

Great toy section for the kids

Had a wide variety and exactly what I was looking for. The staff was kind and quick to help. This is my go to bookstore.

Was here with my family today and witnessed some very poor behavior by a specific employee. I was near a guy in the bookstore who had as it appeared just purchased a coffee from the Starbucks within the store. The guy had just helped us out a couple minutes earlier by pointing us in the direction of a specific book. A female brunette employee approached him stomping up to him and loudly announced “sir, you need to put on your mask”. The man, also a customer had moved his mask down to his chin to take a sip of his coffee. Just as my husband and I had just done 2 minutes earlier. Replacing our masks between sips. The man- mind you was not near anybody. Minding his own business browsing. The man then let her know that he was drinking his coffee, and she then replied rudely and loudly again that he would need to drink that coffee in the coffee shop area. I mean we were standing a good 15 feet away and could hear the employee’s entire conversation of which she then went to the help/info desk and loudly announced something about calling mall security. And the info/help desk is a good 50+ feet away from where we were standing. We immediately left our items that we were going to purchase as the interaction of the employee was very unprofessional, and it was awkward to watch an employee of a bookstore treat a customer like that. My family and I wear masks as often as possible out and about and practice social distancing as much as possible. Passive aggressive behavior towards a customer for not following a policy that is not clearly posted in the store is wrong and unprofessional on many levels. The employee could have handled the situation more professionally. I understand that the mask mandate and enforcing the mask rule is difficult and sometimes you have to deal with unruly customers as I deal with them in my own profession, but this particular customer was clearly wearing a mask (between sipping on coffee of course). Why scare off people who are trying to do the right thing? Educating customers of the policy in a polite manner is something that should be worked on with this particular employee. Causing a scene in front of other customers and escalating the situation further was again really unprofessional and unattractive. A lady nearby also overheard the entire interaction and left her items she was carrying around the store on a nearby display table and said “wow” and left disappointed. Train your employees to better handle situations in a professional manner.

I stayed for over an hour just browsing before we picked the books we wanted to purchase. The staff was more than helpful. Every time I had a question they were quick to look on the computer to get me an answer. One of the last brick and mortar book stores left, its a great place with a great staff.

Barnes and noble has always been a good place for books with obvious reasons. Staff are very nice, good selection, why not make a little outting to it instead of riding the Amazon train.

While it is a big store and has an amazing selection, I cannot get over how their religious section is all Christian, and the rest of the religious texts are put under supernatural.

The store was nice except for the woman worker harrassing familys that were Christmas shopping about their stupid maskes needing to be above there noses

Barnes and Noble is a beautiful store. The sales staff are friendly and helpful. This is one of the best places to pick up fantastic books. We bring our grandchildren to visit the clever stuffed animals and buy the best books for bedtime stories. We love Barnes and Noble!

Me and my girlfriend decided to walk around in the mall, and it turned out this was the perfect place to chill. Quiet, calm, and capturing are words to describe this. There is also a Starbucks in one part, where you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the free wifi.

Book stores are dying, and thats a shame. Still a great place to browse and shop and learn about things.My wife and I go there several times a month to get a cookie and a cocoa.We miss the big comfy chairs they used to have. They never had enough, and now they dont have any, and thats a shame.Still, a great store to visit.

A good wide selection, unfortunately I wasnt able to find more then 1 book by Terry Pratchett. When I was trying to check out no one was at the register and I had to go all round the store to find someone.

I always find what I am looking for here. When I need help, the staff is knowledgeable and kind. I consistently have a great experience at Barnes & Noble.

Good selection of books and a store I can get lost in for hours. One of my favorite places to shop.

I live there is still a book seller. I do have a nook and mostly all my books are thru that but young people/children need to find the magic and mystery of holding and flipping thru that magic. Your favorite book will always be there for you hold close to your heart. As you hold it close, the pages warm with your touch. Nothing beats a favorite book!

I dont often have the opportunity to visit Barnes & Noble stores, and Im sad to say I was disappointed to find they mostly stock whats new and popular and thats about it on location. I wasnt able to find many books, authors, or stories in-store Ive been meaning to add to my collection. That being said, should you need something new and popular this store is a wonderful location to visit and they likely will have it. This location is very neat with friendly employees around many corners willing to help at a moments notice.

Staff was friendly & helped locate the rare United States & National Parks Quarters Collector Maps.

This place has a very good selection of books. There are also cozy chairs to sit down and relax and read. I love it that you can still get music here, its getting harder and harder to find hard copies of music and they actually have a pretty good selection here. Great location in the Gallatin Valley Mall. I recommend joining the Barnes and Noble membership, you can easily pay for it with money saved through transactions. I found the people working there to be friendly and helpful.

When Im in Bozeman I often have a relaxing cup of coffee here with my niece while her young children spend time reading and playing in the childrens book section. Good selection, friendly staff, and weve gotten some great deals!

Had a hard time finding a funny book for my supervisor as an office gift. An employee found exactly what I was looking for and made sure I was taken care of. Large selection of everything! The kids section is great, it makes me want to be a kid again!

Really love Barnes and Noble since the remodel. Prices are still very high on media, but for a small town like Bozeman, its an acceptable trade off. Employees are friendly and willing to help. Online pickup could be a little more fluid, but not a terribly big deal.

I ordered a book. i called to see if it was in. a woman said she called me twice and was unable to leave a message, that the hold on my book ended and it was on the shelf now. bull. their phone number wasn’t in my call history at all, except when i called them. even if it was, my voicemail box had one message in it and there’s lots of room left on my phone.i still got my book, but someone else could’ve taken it off the self. whoever the guy was, i didn’t have a problem with him.

The staff. The manager. The rooms cleanliness. The spa and hot tub are 24/7 and they even have a grill out back for guest use!

Good selection of books. Toys and DVDs. Allot of time this store seems under staffed. Its sometimes hard to find someone able to help.

Its a great place to read with the star bucks near by and its one of the best places in the mall!

My favourite bookstore for current books. If they dont have it stock they should be able to order it. Not a bookstore for rare or older out of print books.

Very relaxing bookstore

Unable to get anyone to cash us out. Waited at one counter for 10 minutes. Went to another and 2 team members behind counter just visiting. Even tried call store to see us we could get help. No wonder everyone buys books on line. Sad
