A super amazing staff and customer service! As most businesses are right now, they are short staffed but still deliver quality service and product.

We have worked with Culligan for years. They are not only dependable and friendly with great customer service, but didnt hesitated to wave our charges during the mandatory shut down for restaurants. They have earned our business forever. Roth Jordan, Montana Ale Works.

Poor customer service. I purchased a house in Bozeman with a Culligan soft water system. After establishing service, the first bill I received was a postcard saying I was late and charging an .81 cent finance charge. I never received a prior bill. I pay all my bills on time and called them to set up autopay. Amazingly, they would not waive the piddly 81 cent charge. Thought Id share this for people who are not inheriting a Culligan system so they can explore alternative providers who care about customer relations.

Stay away from this business. I was having water delivered to my studio and they just kept delivering filled bottles without realizing I was not leaving empties. After I had 5 bottles at the front of my studio I called to stop the delivery and figure out what was going on. My neighbors had already discontinued the service because they had the same experience. I called Culligan and talked with a lady that instead of being helpful she just tried to find reason for the deliveries. I just didnt need 5 bottles of water delivered at my studio and if I dont leave empties outside it really shouldnt be too difficult to understand. After my bottles sat for a month in front of my studio I finally called Culligan to have the bottles picked up and when I asked the person who picked them up how much they would refund he replied that they would get back to me on the refund. No one got back to me and I called again. Same lady picked up the phone with the same attitude. She told me that bottles cant be returned and that they had to empty them out. Not only they didnt refund the water but they also didnt refund the deposit on the bottles. I sure would have kept them if I knew. She offered a free bottle in exchange of the 5 I returned. Thanks a bunch Culligan. You know how to run a business.

I just moved to River Rock in Belgrade a month ago. Having lived in Bozeman previously I noticed how extremely hard the water was in River Rock. Since I work in the hot tub industry I have access to computerized water testing. Bozeman City water runs 90-100ppm Total Hardness (5-6 grains). River Rock water is 300-350ppm (17.5-20 grains). After researching softeners (including $500 units from Sears & Lowes) I ultimately decided an professional system was the best bet. Longer warranties, less salt usage, less water used when recycling, etc. Plus, Culligan offered me a Rent to Own package. The particular system I needed (for one resident) was about $1,600 installed. Or I can rent it for $30 a month and after the first year they allow me to buy out the system and subtract 100% of the monthly rental payments.I scheduled them to perform my install at 8am. Their installer, Bob, showed up EXACTLY at 8am as promised. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and great to chat with. I have to say he went above and beyond what he gets paid to do. My utility/laundry room had lots of space. But the most ideal installation would require me to stack my dryer on top of my washer. This required me to actually leave the house and go buy a stacking kit for my Samsung system. Sears was the only place in town that had them and they didnt open until 10m.Bob was patient, helped give suggestions, and made me feel like I was the only customer he had any obligation to that day. I left home to buy the stacking kit, longer exhaust hose for the dryer, and came home. He helped me move my washer and dryer, helped me stack the dryer on top of the washer, and then finished his installation of the softener tank and salt storage tank.I tried twice to offer Bob some money and told him I wanted to buy him lunch. He refused and told me his only concern was to perform a proper installation that I was happy with. Because of my initial indecision on how to place my washer/dryer, leaving to buy the stacking kit and exhaust hose, Bob spent about 4 hours at my home to complete my installation. Never did he show any signs of impatience or time pressure.Bob is an asset to this company and I would recommend that anyone who calls Culligan to have a system installed should ask for Bob to perform their installation.I took a sample of water and brought it to work this morning. My tests confirm my water is now completely soft. Zero total hardness (0ppm / 0 grains). The water feels different at the tap, tastes better, etc.To top it all off these guys will deliver salt to your door (or even come in and refill your salt storage) simply for the cost of the salt. An 80lb bag is $11. That includes them coming to your house to pour the salt into your storage tank. Its not worth buying your salt at Costco/Lowes/HomeDepot as youll pay the same amount and you have to load and unload it yourself! If you need soft water call Culligan. My expectations were blown away.
