I teach 2 indoor cycling classes within a few hours of each other. I normally have to change out of my wet socks before my second class. I used the running socks and my feet are nice and dry! I LOVE my alpaca socks!

I first purchased 2 pairs of the Mid Calf Therapeutic Socks for my husband last Christmas. He had been complaining for quite sometime that his home supply of socks pinched his toes/feet and that his feet were always cold. He has had a skin sensory problem for years r/t a side effect from a medication. After reading all the positive reviews about the Alpacas of Montana Socks, I was hopeful that these socks would give my husband some much needed relief for his feet. Im happy to say that my husband loves the socks so much, that we just ordered more! They provide softness and warmth and dont make his feet sweat. I wash them in cold water and line dry them. After 10 months, theyre still soft with no signs of wear and tear. We love the fact that the Alpacas of Montana Socks are born and shorn in the USA. My husband and I would like to thank James and Sarah for getting into the Alpaca business and creating a product that actually exceeded our expectations!

I bought a total of 7 pairs of socks. Two of them I havent really worn. The other five I did wear and within 6 months to a year, four of them had patches on the back of my heel, bottom of my heel and the ball of my foot where the alpaca fibers were complete gone - bald spots! I really expected much more life considering how expensive they are. The running socks were the first to go, then the therapeutic and the purple/green striped ones. The one that survived some wear was the super thick red/black ones that I basically used as an occasional slipper around the house. I always washed them in cold water on gentle and laid out flat on a towel to dry so poor care is not a factor in the socks demise. Neither is mis-fitting shoes because these were worn with many pairs of shoes. The cheap socks I normally wear last me many years. I cannot recommend the socks but I will say the heavy duty winter hat with ear flaps is great.

Great products that last, a little on the pricey side, but not too bad. They have an open house thats really fun and you can see and pet the alpacas.

Ordered 3 women’s and 2 men’s brim hats last winter for Christmas. I have heard nothing but good about them. Grandson lives on the cold Rockymountain front. This is his 2nd winter with the hat and wears it all winter. I highly recommend them for anyone who works out in Montana weather all winter. They have excellent customer service.

I went to their seasonal kiosk in the Gallatin Valley Mall to buy socks for my family, however, when the employee opened our conversation by telling me about the d**n kids stealing his socks, then started ranting about security, I was disgusted. Ill be buying from an online retailer who doesnt hate children from now on.

I bought the extreme cold weather hat and its the best cold weather hat ever. Buy good stuff that last, I also have a beanie and its great when the extreme hat is too much.
