Babs pierced my two daughters’ ears today (ages 4months and 2years). She was awesome- super calm and courteous. She explained everything to me, but was quick with the piercing for the girls so they didn’t get scared and nervous. I highly recommend her services for anyone considering piercing for their kiddos!

I interacted with 5 employees here, and everyone was very cordial and patient. It shows that folks enjoy their jobs here, from the enthusiasm that went into helping me find a design i liked, sizing, fitting etc. The ring that resulted was a unique piece of work that fully met my expectations (and right on time!), and was made by the talented folks in this shop from recycled precious metals. I would not have anticipated this much attention to detail for what was surely a modest transaction in the grand scheme of things. Ill be back for sure, if for no other reason than to admire some of babs killer mineral collection that she accents her shop with. Cheers!

Everyone in the store is so nice. They make you feel very welcome, and Chantell is just amazing. She didn’t push me at all, and gave me so much information about the different gems I was looking for. I’ve been shopping at Alara since I was born (not really but it’s been awhile) and even though I’ve moved away from Bozeman, it’s still my go to for all things sparkly and unique. Babs took the time to listen to what I wanted to put together this two generation ring. I had my mom’s diamond engagement ring, my mom’s wedding band, my own engagement ring and a five year diamond band. I wanted to place them all in one ring I could wear since I had issue with losing diamonds and was particularly hard on my jewelry. She did all of that and more. Combing 70 year old diamonds with 25 year old ones and made it into a lightweight, sparking, beautiful piece of jewelry that never comes off my finger. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The lady who ran the counter was very rude. I came in a few weeks ago and asked if they could fix the pin for my watch band. The lady looked at me, laughed, and said no, try walmart and walked away. I stood there for a few more seconds in awe of the reaction my question received, and another woman looked at me, said they do not fix witch bands. I ended up going to the last wind up and they fixed it for $2. Wont go here again for any jewelry needs.

My 9 year old daughter got her ears pierced today and it was such a good experience. While nervous to do it, she was put at ease by all 3 of the women working. I bought a tension setting ring. I loved it and the service was great. When I got the ring it was made to big it took weeks to get another one no big deal mistakes happen. After having the ring only about 8 months a handle on a bag caught the ring (nothing aggressive) and the diamond fell out. I was told the tension setting was more safe and durable than a regular setting. I was also very careful with my ring! Never went swimming or worked out with my ring on. When I called them they would not warranty the ring what so ever only ship it out to get fixed and have me pay full price. Very disappointed with the company 😞 definitely taking my business elsewhere.

Chantell was a delight and made the entire ring-resizing and appraisal process super low-stress and convenient. Alara jewelry was also much friendlier and more professional on the phone when we were calling around to get quotes on resizing. We will definitely be going back when it comes time to find our wedding bands!

My boyfriend and I go to Bozeman about twice a year and love it! Each time we go we pick out a piece of jewelry to bring home. We went into Alara and picked out a yogo sapphire ring (not very cheap either). It was very unique and I loved it. After I got back home I wore it to a party and realized when I got home the sapphire was missing! It had fallen out. When I called Alara and explained what happened and that I had only worn the ring a few times, the woman I talked to said they wouldnt replace the ring but if I sent it back (with the cost of shipping coming out of my pocket) that they would replace the stone, but I would have to pay for it! When I took it to my local jeweler to replace the stone, he said the reason the stone fell out is because the prongs werent complete, and the stone fell out. He rebuilt the prongs at his cost, and because of what happened, and because I shop with him regularly, he also replaced the sapphire at his cost. (No mark up) !!!!!!!!!!Alara is obviously a flash in the pan. They market unique, custom jewelry and thats obvious, but they have NO customer service!!!! I can find unique jewelry anywhere, but customer service is the real jewel and Alara is just a pawn shop!!!!!!!

Mike, Ciara and Chantall made absolutely perfect recommendations for me. Their curation is amazing and they have really unique pieces that are sophisticated, cool, or both. I typically have a really hard time finding jewelry that I like but they were so helpful with zero pressure.
