Cant say enough about the folks that work here, from the sales and service staff to the scuba instructors, each one is super knowledgeable and helpful. They make your purchasing and learning experience super fun and enjoyable. They bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied. If you are looking for great customer service, something that is lacking in almost ever business today, look no further, they have it in abundance.

Super nice worker, knowledgeable, very clean store. Couldn’t have had a larger color selection in wet suits but I was able to find one that works! Over all enjoyable experience!

Lets start out by saying my wife and I are long time divers. I recently took both of our regulators to have them serviced. We were going on a dive trip so we wanted to ensure they had no problems. We took both in and dropped them off 3 weeks ahead of time. I have made several calls and went to the store to pick them up after I was assured they would be ready. We are leaving tomorrow on a dive trip and as of yet no regulators. If you are planning on having work done on your equipment take it in 60 days ahead of time, or take it to another certified dive shop.

My 10 year old daughter and I went to get certified during her spring break. It’s certainly a time dedication. Instructors Tim and Joe were excellent! I never felt my daughter being 10 was left behind or ignored as the youngest . In fact, they made sure every dive experience was good for her and kept an eye on her at all times. Her safety, and everyone’s was top priority. I would highly recommend classes with either of the instructors I mentioned above.

If you go in knowing exactly what you want to buy then this place is adequate. If you’re looking for recommendations, save yourself the time and just pick the most expensive thing they sell in whatever product category you’re shopping. Also they falsely mark down products with a fake normal prices and the “Sale” price is just the normal MSRP you can find anywhere else. These guys are used car salesmen.

Moses refused to help my disabled wife, she was asking questions to make sure she got me a great birthday suprize. After she picked out my stuff she started asking questions so she could get dive stuff for her, he told her he did not have time to help her anymore, there were no other customers in the store, that is his JOB! i will never shop there again!!

Bad day to show up at SQst. Had their 20% off sale & it was jammed. Good for them but its such a small shop 2-3 deep at the counter. Came home empty handed. Thus 3 stars. Maybe next time.

Ok shop. Id like to see employees wearing masks, which they werent. Sarasota Scuba Quest seems like a better organized store.

Im just setting up for my certification dives, so Im the ultimate beginner! Store manager, John, went out of his way to assist me in explaining basic gear and making suggestions. Did not find what some of the other poor reviews found... in my opinion. Excellent service and transaction.

I have shopped at this dive shop for years and have always been pleased with their selection and knowledge but today’s shopping experience was very disappointing. The young man was unfriendly, unhelpful and just plain put out that we came in to shop😬 we spent over $100.00 with no help from him. Not sure if I will come back if he is there😡

I really like going there when Dale, is there. The guy with the beard is never helpful, has no customer service skills. If he did I would have spent a lot more money in there. Teach that kid to work on his relation skills.From now on only going in when Dale is there.

Weve been taking our regs here for yearly service for more than 7 years and weve never had a problem. They are always helpful from the moment we walk in the door. We had to replace a BCD last year and we got a great deal.

Incredible service. Had a leak in a hole and took it in for a check. They put in a new o-ring and rechecked it.....for free. Will definitely buy my tanks from them.

Boyfriend just got certified to dive through these guys! Knowledgeable and nice folks behind the counter, they helped me pick out a couple good presents for Xmas too ;) will return for sure cuz their wetsuits are killer, he got a 10 year warranty made in the USA Henderson and really likes his - and I am going to need one too :)

This dive shop is Awesome, staff has always been helpful in any situation. Justin is a real nice guy always willing to go the extra step to help you with your needs, highly recommend. What kills me is the stupid customers that gave them bad reviews, like to see any of them run a dive shop operation, enough said.

Took my regulator in for annual service as recommended by the manufacturer even though it was working fine. These idiots screwed it up! I took it back to have it adjusted and it still wasnt right! I finally took it to another shop where they found that only the O rings were repleaced but nothing was cleaned, first stage wasnt even touched and Scuba Quest damaged the reg by bending the adjustment screw! Do NOT waste your time and money with this shop!

Signed up for their scuba class and flew all the way from Alabama to attend it. Ten hours before the first class, Scuba Quest calls me to cancel the course because I was the only one signed up. I told them that I was from out of town and spent $400 on a plane ticket / car rental. Their response was that it would be too expensive to run the class just for one person. They didnt seem to care that I was out of money too! I didnt get a single apology.Luckily I found another dive shop that was great - Dive Adventures on Cortez Rd. They started the course for me the next day, giving me private lessons with an experienced instructor and allowing me to try out any of their equipment for test runs. Though Dive Adventures is more expensive, their staff is friendly and really want you to have a good experience. Scuba Quest personnel were rude and uncaring that they put me out of money.All I can say is go elsewhere if youre a beginner or coming from out of town for a scuba class.

I took a Nitrox class and the instruction was very minimal. It was extremely easy since the instructor basically gave us all the answers to the final test. The shop has a lot of good stuff in it however, the staff can get irritating just because of their personalities and drive to sell. For example, I went in the ask a general question about tank/regulator fittings and Justin almost immediately tried to persuade me to buy my regulator from them. Ill match any price you see online. Thats great and all but I came in to ask a simple question which turned out he answered completely wrong.

Scuba quest is always a great choice for diving needs. They have a wide range of products for divers and spearos.

Apparently I showed up at closing . The door was unlocked. They came out of the back room and said they were closed. I guess they took in enough money for the day and couldnt fit anymore in their cash drawer. Too bad for them I needed to buy a BCD and regulator.I drive by that shop almost everyday however I will never set foot in there again.Look elsewhere for your gear.

What is the deal with these guys?? Customer service apparently wasnt on their application when hired. My questions were met with rolling eyes. And I am an experienced freediver who just needs gun parts!! I can imagine being a novice. I thought that it would maybe get better, but hasnt changed in 3 years. Hire quality people. I now drive to the little shop on Cortez or order from leisure pro.

Had another wonderful experience with Bradenton Scuba Quest... Went in to rent a few tanks for mini season and was in and out in 5 minutes even though they were swamped and having a tent sale. I ended up staying a few extra days in the keys with my rented tanks and forgot to call them and let them know. When I returned back with the tanks they were not angry or mad at all and did not blow up my phone like most places would. I have bought all of my gear here for myself and my family including BCs, regulators, computers, snorkel gear, and spearguns and received great customer service before and after the sale. Their prices are reasonable and very competitive. I will continue to do business here for a long time

Arrogant, Unresponsive, Lazy and you get all of this and pay for the privilege in ridiculously high prices. The only thing I do here is VIP and fills because to travel any distance isnt practical. Here in Bradenton we are desperately missing a good professional dive shop that cares.
