This is an excellent outdoor store with very reasonable prices and exceptional customer service.Jimmy, the owner, took the time to get to listen to me and matched me with some top of the line outdoor gear for a great price. He is extremely knowledgeable and I felt respected and not pressured at all to spend money.I’m headed back there tomorrow for an item that I passed on and then found out it was less at his store than on Amazon! I’m looking forward to doing some hiking, kayaking and climbing with these guys soon aa I try to drop a several pounds the healthy way.

One fantastic business and owner. I was greeted at the door and ended up in a conversation lasting two hours. We found common ground on both being prior military and outdoor enthusiasts. Turns out he runs an organization outside of his Outdoor equipment business to bring soldiers and their families together in outdoor activities ( hiking, fishing, biking, motorcycling, disc golf, kayaking).The inventory he keeps is very quality and the prices are very realistic. If outdoors is your thing then he carries about everything you could ever want. This is a definite stop anytime I am going through Bradenton and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you!

This store is awesome. It’s amazing how much you can learn about different products available for you in a short period of time. This place was a life saver when the hurricane was heading this way. If you are an outdoorsy person you must stop in to see what they can offer; I would almost guarantee you’d find something you need.

Trailwalker Gear Outfitters, hands down the best outdoor outfitters in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. As soon as I entered the store I was met with a friendly face, and a friendly greeting. I found the owners and staff very knowledgeable, and the store was packed with the latest light weight gear on the market.

My experience at Trailwalker Gear was informative and inspiring experience. Jimmy spent enough time with me to explain the various aspects of what could be confusing technical information to an experienced backpacker. He went well beyond selling and made specific suggestions about desert hiking. We looked at the topographical map of the remote area where I will be trekking. He provided thorough / professional advice. No doubt, he is vicariously there bushwacking into the Owyhee Wilderness in southwest Idaho with me. Knowledgeable, practical guidance with extensive military survival experience. ¶ The store has a small but top of the line selection
