Lovely food and ambience. Extremely friendly staff, they happily found a place for us on an extremely busy Sunday. Price is on the higher side, but the taste justifies it.

Lovely place with nice atmosphere. I loved the fried pickles. First cocktail I tried was balanced and nice. But the others were a bit too sweet.

The best burger paired with the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Sided by tasty gin & tonic creations and proffered in a cosy atmosphere by an exceptional good service. We were very lucky to be seated straight away coming around this spontaneously. Thank you guys for this experience 🙏🏻

The burgers are good, but there are superior burgers in town. That said, its only my taste and if you like more unusual burgers I think this might be more for you. The price is good though and the setting ia cozy. Staff is really nice and helpful. Excellent fries.

I have never really ever had a good burger in Sweden. However, a good friend of mine suggested I go and check out The Barn, as it is supposed to have the best burgers in town. I did not regret! This is clearly the best burger I have had in the country; juicy, nicely prepared and with a good bun to keep it together. I tried the “Svinet” (I trust that can be translated to “messy” even though it literally means “pig”, or perhaps it is simply a reference to the bacon on top) with maple syrup bacon, BBQ glaze, mayo, and pickled onions. It comes medium as standard, and I don’t see any reason to deviate from what they recommend. A great burger indeed, but not over the top great.The place itself is very nice, but you may not walk in if you don’t know what it is (a burger joint). The awning and branding outside is not very welcoming. Inside, however, the place is built up using old materials from an actual barn (or at least that is the story you will be served). Service is very friendly, although not super attentive and quick, and it took quite a while to have food on the table even though our party of two were literally the first ones to be seated inside. Yet the ladies were friendly and always smiling. A decent selection of beers and snaps round off a package that is easy to recommend, and that I will visit again. But beware, it is super popular, and booking a table is highly recommended.

The barn is a classic. Tried their burger again and was very happy with the texture and the taste. Service is friendly as usual. Four instead of five stars because the brisket lacked some flavor but otherwise very happy with my experience.

Burgers were a bit dry. Patty crumbled as the meat “chunks” were not really sticking together. Had a peanut butter and jelly milkshake and it was enjoyable. My boyfriend told me the food quality has went down a bit as the burgers were tastier before. Place was super packed when we went there without a reservation during dinner time but we managed to snag two seats near the bar. Tips: toilets are cute, do check them out!

Lovely place with very nice staff. They have some interesting milkshakes and the burgers are creative. The buns can be made gluten free and they pointed out which meals contained gluten (the deep-fried stuff).My burger was a bit tasteless overall except for the overpowering sauce (it tasted like horse radish, but I might be wrong because I didnt notice it in the ingredients list). The meat patties are very thick (at least 200g from the looks of it), but had zero flavor. A little bit of salt and pepper couldve worked wonders. There was no cheese on the burger, just some veggies. I think the chosen ingredients didnt work well together because, outside the sauce, there was nothing to provide flavor. My wife enjoyed her burger which was different from mine.I would eat here again and try a different burger, at least for the sweet potato fries which were on point. They also had some appetizing deserts on the menu which were eager to sample.

The Barn is a cozy, dimly lit bar, with rustic-chic interior design, locally sourced ingredients, and the best burger Ive ever eaten. Wow. Really moist and delicious and flavorful.We sat at the bar; the bartender was friendly and the service was good. It gets packed pretty snuggly inside but not uncomfortably so. Definitely recommend!

Wow, probably the best restaurant I know. Im careful with superlatives but this restaurant is amazing.Food first, the patty was the best I ever had. It was medium on point, rose on the inside with a crisp, dark shell. But the whole meal was very good.If you choose a burger and a side dish its just the right amount.Its interior design is stunning from top to bottom with an lovely eye for details and its not the typical hipster chick but fits perfectly to the name.The staff is friendly and quick to help you out.According to Google we arrived when it wasnt heavily frequented but still we had to wait a few minutes. Which is no problem at the barn because the bar is ride next to it in a sperate building and you can wait while enjoying some bears or cocktails until the stuff picks you up.For German standard the prices are high but for Sweden its probably normal.

Had a lot of fun here, from the newspaper menu to the copper beer mugs this place screams barn lifestyle. I remember the food being decent too. Very small place that is very busy. One of the tables that is easiest to get a walk in space is the bar table and if you are unlucky you have the staff walking right behind you all the time, its a little annoying so if you want a more care free time, book a head for a table.

Very rustic. The menu may be small, but the quality! I had the pig burger, a bacon burger with just the essentials. And that is a GOOD thing, this is honest food that does not need lots of condiments! And a bonus is that you can get your burger cooked to your preference as they grind their own beef... Also give their own beers a chance, they do impress.

This is an amazing place to drink, to eat, to have small talk also with the very polite staff. I mean you look in...go in and ask! They will find a solution to find a place for you and will serve you a pretty evening, you will enjoy.For my business trips in Sweden it is one of the best at all and I will come again.Normally Im alone on my way but I saw big groups go in. So there is no problem I think. Groups bigger than 4 I think shall call or asked before for reservation.

Any burger place can give you sweet potato fries these days. But it takes a special chef to create sticky beet roots with black currant that make you think HOW COME I ONLY GET TO KNOW OF THIS NOW?!. Absolutely amazing. The burgers, too. Easily one of my top 5 burgers Ive had in the last decade. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly and the interior is just cosy and inviting.

Truly deserving of its high rating. I walked in at 1715h without a reservation and had a grrrreat cheeseburger (18 year [or was it month] old cheese) paired with snaps. Two burgers, two snaps and one sweet potato fries came up to 411 SEK, no service charge. Great service, fantastoc ambience, and it was full so youd probably need a reservation.Definitely recommending this to anyone coming to Gothenburg.

Some say that the food is awesome. but it was too hipster for my taste.

Fries with béarnaise was super! The interior is spot on trying to feel like a barn, with beer served in copper cups etc. The burger was good as well!The place is small, so reserve ahead if you want a table during popular hours.

Not the regular burger you might expect. Delicious burger with all kinds of special toppings. If you just want a boring standard burger, this might not be the place for you. If you are open for new adventures, this is the place! Also very friendly staff. Can be very crowded and you might have to wait. But its worth waiting! Pro-Tip: If you dare, take the extra meat patty.

Tell you what. The food is really good and the staff provides attentive service. Plus for two veggie options on the burgers. However the locale is narrow and gets easily crowded, not the best for function varied individuals. Also it is kind of a pricey proposition considering the small portions they serve. Would rate it 3.5 overall if Google allowed for it.

Friendly staff, a bit pricey in relation to flavours - lacking umami. Lovely food presentation, good mix of textures, long waiting though- do not go there hungry.
