Amazing golf courses. They are redesigning and adding another 9 to have the Lehman 18 and Bobbies 27. Tom Lehman is running the project. During construction craguns will always have 27 holes open.

One of the most breathtaking views when having a tasty meal

Not a great course for $130. You can hear locals partying while teeing off, traffic from the roadway, and (from my experience) it isnt very well managed. Most holes have some form of construction on them or nearby, so not attractive either. I would not return nor recommend to others. I believe most of the positive reviews are locals trying to promote tourism in their town. Of the 5 Robert Trent Jones courses Ive played, this was the least enjoyable. Also be prepared to spend a lot of time driving the cart between holes. Walking would be impossible.

Extremely expensive but the quality and the taste of the food was unbelievable. The servers were top-notch!! I would give them a 10 plus.

Great course, staff is always friendly and the food is good. Craguns has always worked with our group for our tournament. Excited to see what the course will look like when the construction is done.

Great course...good staff...awesome beverage cart person....fairways were like carpet...so nice...only downfall is the drive in and out of fairway...yes thats how they stay nice but adds time to round with in and out all the time....

Great place to play a round of golf and to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Both of the courses are beautiful and well maintained. It is very well run and we would happily play here again.

Course is beat up, over used in relation to the maintenance that is put into it day in and day out. Not impressed

46 holes of awesome golf. Both championship courses will offer a challenge to any golfer. Social 9 is fun for honing in your short game. Huge practice facility. GPS on the carts. Great staff! Leagues and ongoing competitions are available. Weve had a family membership for the past three years - they enjoy seeing all of us at the course!

The reversible par 3 course is great for a family golf outing

Craguns is a great northern wedding venue! The views are spectacular and it offers so many awesome photography spots! As a twin cities wedding photographer, I love getting the opportunity to shoot at new locations in Northern MN, and this spot was great! Awesome staff and a great experience overall!

Staff was amazing, course was beautiful. We had large group and they ready for us. They were very friendly and professional. Checked in with us periodically though out the round to make everything was alright. Would highly recommend the Legacy gold course.

Fall time is a nice time to play this course with Country Club type conditions and if the sun was out today, the beauty of the fall colors would have popped!

Course is good shape, but they dont care about customer service. Took 6 hours to play our round and only got 15 holes in. Drunks everywhere in front and behind us. No starter. Last time I will ever play here. Miserable.

We came on a golf package and every thing was spectacular. Staff were great, very friendly and very helpful. Played both Bobbys and Dutchs course and they were in amazing condition considering the time of year. Play was fast and steady no waiting. I am already looking forward to a return trip!

Two great tracks, Bobbys & Dutchs present a good challenge. Beautiful, scenic setting for the courses. Many forced carries over swamps & water. Great variety of holes. Always friendly staff. Good hosted events with good food. Good merchandise selection in the Pro shop.

Too much construction going on that wasnt mentioned when purchasing the package 🙄!

Our group of 12 did the 2 night all you can golf and it was great. Our original plans at breezy were cancelled because they couldnt get open in time, and Tim at Craguns worked with us and made our experience phenomenal! We will be back again, the courses are great and the food was good and the drinks were affordable. A++.

Great food and service!

From the pro shop and tee to green, everything was perfect. Staff greets you and takes care of your clubs. Driving range and large practice putting green. Wide fairways give your ball a great opportunity to get to the green.

I had so much fun doing the Par 3 here.

I can only speak for the restaurant. The view was nice, and so was the the server. Chefs veggies were cold on every plate they were served on. Fries were cold. Salmon was raw. We were out of towners staying at Craguns looking for a nice dinner we could be shuttled to. It was this or Irmas Kitchen. Id try Irmas kitchen if I could go back. Both are part of Craguns resort.

Fantastic golf! Well executed typical clubhouse fair, but again, well executed. House chips are on point, braised meats are tender. Would recommend just for dining.

Very clean and nice rooms. They had an atmosphere that made you feel at home. A great pool area, and plenty of space outside of room for joggers to jog. I will be going again.

Friendly and quick service from polite outside service members, great food at the grill there. Overall amazing courses. A little difficult but that makes it fun. And if you ever need help the outside service members rush to aid you.

Formerly one of the best courses in the state, but too pricey for the average customer. This is no longer the case! $50 twilight rate is a steal of a deal! Golf 18 holes after 4 pm and enjoy a beautiful MN summer evening. 5 stars!

Absolutely beautiful courses!!! I have played here many times now and the courses are well groomed and the staff amazing! The courses are pleasantly challenging and the food is great! I continue to go here as often as I can and encourage every golfer to try one of the two legacy courses!

Great courses. Love the one across the highway. Flowers line the edges. Feals like the Masters in Augusta. Also play like that. Holed out 2 shots, 90 yds and 70 yds, par 3 and 4. 2nd shots. Pace of play, Relaxed. Hole 1 and 2 set the tone. Tough.

The bang for the buck at the courses with fall pricing was impossible to beat. New cabins at the resort are awesome. Great weekend.

Beautiful clubhouse, staff is very accommodating at the Grille and the food was great. Bobbys Legacy is a fun course for the red tee-box folk and is an exciting challenge for the black tee-box pros! Great staff and a fun course to play.

It was a beautiful evening, spent on the patio, overlooking the fairways of golf course in the highly wooded area. As we ate and visited, celebrating Moms 85th birthday, we watched 🦆 ducks come and go from the pond nearby and deer grazing across the fairways. Oh and everyone seemed to be quite content with their meals. We will be coming back.

Just got the play this course for the first time May 1-3 2015 for the Brainerd Golf Trail Opener. The price was unbeatable, the course was in great shape and the atmosphere of everybody enjoying the same thing for an entire weekend was unmatched. If you are a golfer in Minnesota I highly suggest you book a stay and play at Cargus resort. All of the staff is friendly and there main focus is for you to have a good time. If I could rate this 6 stars I would, Cant wait until October when we do it again for the closer.

Course was in great shape, but pace of play was SLOW. No Marshalls on course to keep pace up.

12 of us went up on a 3 day stay & play package. Great courses. Pretty good service. The food at the resturaunt was disapointing. The buffet breakfast was incredibly basic & bland. The lunches were ok, but the dinners were terrible across the board. We didnt expect gourmet food... just something above a frozen dinner.

Went here for a work party and had the time of my life. Great place to go and definitely recommend it.

Beautiful scenery, a good amount of beverage carts are passing by to make sure all of your needs are taken care of, they are a little pricey but the service is excellent!
