Unprofessional. Violated HIPPA, by asking if I was vaccinated then continued to question/ interrogate me and make myself explain my personal health choices. They asked me to explain why I’m waiting so long, why I don’t want the vax, and why I am doing my own research. (If they were that concerned about my vax status then they should’ve mentioned that prior to booking) I tried to overlook this uncomfortable situation and give the psychic the benefit of the doubt. But the entire reading ended up being so useless and going no where. I don’t know if they just neglected my reading for not being vaccinated/having different views than them.. or maybe they really just give awful pointless readings? Either way, I’m so disappointed and I won’t be coming back ever again.

Staff was very kind and helped answer any questions. It was my first time here, and it’s bigger than you expect. They have crystals, herbs, tarot, so many books, statues, incense, candles, A LOT of jewelry and so much more.

They have what you need. Got my first tarot and oracle cards from here. And most crystals. I enjoy myself here

I love this store but not the psychic reading services. I went for a reading. I feel that my name was researched before arriving (they ask your name and DOB when you schedule) and I suspect that my grandfathers obituary was found and used in the reading. The psychic literally went down the list of information listed in my gramps obituary, in order too, but just took the long half-hour way through it. I knew half way through what I thought was going on, but by then, it was too late to back out and get a refund. It DOES say at the register that readings are for entertainment purposes only, so they DO warn you. Id say $10-$20 would be a more accurate price for a half hour reading for entertainment purposes.The store itself is great. Ive already purchased a handful of things from them and plan on going back for more. Its just a really cool store. Lots of unique things. I just wont be doing any psychic readings with them in the future....but game on for the store itself.

Love this place.This is a metaphysical shop. They have tarot card readers, classes & workshops which are run by professionals, crystals, cards, the list goes on & on.If you are into this kind of stuff, you have to visit Open Doors in Braintree.

If your black and comfortable in your own skin and hair this store is not your you when I first came like right when I walked through the door I was stopped and told my purse was over 10 in and had to be locked up in cubbies for stealing purposes which it wasn’t because when I went home I measured it, it was 6in and some change and what I’m assuming was the manager just looked at me and assumed. then I repeatedly asked him to help me with the cubbies and he ignored me after all that I wasn’t really interested in buying anything because I already felt attacked but I stayed because my friend wanted to buy stuff and as we were searching through the store even though when we first came in we said we did not need help the vibes were weird and we were followed in the store by on floor staff which made the experience very uncomfortable compared to the other Customers walking around freely it was weird and I felt like all eyes were on us in the store because of the way the employees were acting and I really was trying to give the store a chance because I’m into reading cards but the store gave me very much racially profiled vibes

This store was pretty large and had a wide variety of awesome items! Staff was very nice and friendly. The only downside is that unfortunately I did notice a few crystal keychains that were fake. Those stones are very commonly faked though and hard to tell if fake so I don’t necessarily think the shop owners are knowingly selling fakes because everything else was genuine... Would definitely still recommend this shop :)

I actually literally walked in the store and walk straight out... I just left out of the store and they they are closed at 8:55 they close everything down. Theyre closing time is 9:00. I didnt know that customers had to be on the same time schedule as the employees. I drove 30 minutes to get here. Businesses should stay true to their operating time because everybody is on a different time schedule. A while back I came and I was in a rush because they didnt have a bathroom and I looked at my receipt and I have been charged 3 times I had to drive another 30 minutes back the next day to correct it. They did not even offer anything for inconvenience.I dont know if Ill be returning back to this place.

Open doors in Braintree is a spiritual/psychic/a cool store. Then recently moved to the new space in Braintree and the actual physical location is very nice. It is a large open space with wide and varied inventory. They do have a great number of different spiritual supplies and books. They have nice candles, magic spell instructions, oils, a wide variety of crystals etc. Their inventory is very nice although it is slightly overpriced (I say this from experience, being someone who often visits stores of this nature). Unfortunately, the front desk staff is not a very professional. I have not had an issue at this location previously but today’s visit changed all that. I was wearing a mask as required by the store, although I was holding the bottom of it open with my fingers so my mother-in-law could hear what I was saying clearly. I was approached by a tall strangely dressed lanky bald employee. He told me to please cover my face. I asked him if my mask was not sufficient. He said that way I was holding it open “put everyone else in danger” in a very dramatic way. I removed my fingers from my mask and stopped attempting to communicate with my mother-in-law. As I was checking out, the girl at the front desk with waist long semi dreadlocks had a sincerely bad attitude. I asked her for one of the cards that you receive when you get a psychic reading. They stamp it every time you have one, and you get the eighth one free, which is a nice service they offer. She looked at me quickly and said didn’t I give you one already? I said no. She gave me one with distain. She was rude throughout the whole transaction and as I was signing my name on my credit card receipt, she said TAKE YOUR CARD PLEASE in a very commanding and mean tone. She did not say thank you And basically threw my bag at me. I’m not exactly sure what I did wrong, but I definitely rubbed these two employees the wrong way. For a spiritual store, they did not act very open minded they were sanctimonious and offensive. I think they should change their name from open doors to closed minds. I have nothing negative to say however about the psychic reading staff. I’ve always had good experiences with them, and today was no exception. I would recommend this store if you’re looking for a good Tarot card or mediumship reading. As I said, their inventory is also good although slightly expensive. But watch out for the people, definitely psychically shield yourself before you go or you will be receiving a lot of nasty negativity.

I really love this little store, I really do. I just wish they wouldn’t sell WHITE sage to the public, or like at all, as i’m pretty sure the owners aren’t Indigenous. white sage is sacred to indigenous people, and it is currently endangered because of the over-harvesting due to high demand from non-native people.

Let me start off by saying my review has to do with an employee and not the store itself. i visited about a week ago and had a similar experience to someone else who left a review. im pretty sure me and the person who left the review visited the same day because i remember those two girls walking in and seeing what happened to them. i entered the store a bit before those two girls but i, a hispanic women walked in the shop, was told to put my purse in the locker & hand sanitizer (i totally understand this because of covid & the risk of shoplifters) but i was also with a friend who was white and my friend asked if she should put her bag away too and the person working didn’t require her to put her bag in the locker. this incident has been on my mind for a few days now and after seeing those other girls leave a review i felt compelled to leave one too. other than the employee i had a great experience and liked everything there.

My friend & i (both black) walked into this store & the first thing they said to us, aggressively was “put hand sanitizer on.” was rude but we didn’t think much of it. then a white woman walked in & they greeted her, asked if they could help her find anything & didn’t even bother telling her to put hand sanitizer on. when i asked for more information about something he was very hesitant & not welcoming at all. dont shop here if you’re black, clearly we’re not wanted. shop at cast a stone in abington mass if you’re local !!!

What an amazing store! It has a little bit of everything for everyone, the staff is extremely respectful and helpful. And I have to say the prices are amazing for what youre getting I love this place and have been shopping there for years and look forward to shopping for many more!

Not a huge fan, a lot of the items are WAY overpriced. Youre not allowed to carry a purse in with you, and instead have to leave it with staff at the register or locked in a locker. Personally I find this off putting and offensive. I understand that SOME people might steal things, but treating every potential customer as a criminal the second they walk through the door might not be the best business approach. Aside from that, I found the 2 staff members behind the register to be somewhat rude, I had to wait a few minutes at the register whole the 2 employees stood talking to each other rather than assisting a paying customer. Needless to say, I wont be back. Save yourself some aggravation, and go to Women of Wisdom in Easton. They have a comparable selection, better prices, friendly and helpful staff....and DONT assume youre a criminal when you walk through the door.

I like this store because there are few other resources around for what they sell. However I bought some citrine there the other day, took it home, and realized it was heat treated amethyst. Even though I obviously noticed that the large crystals were heat treated amethyst, I was hoping that the small polished stones were genuine and tried to pick out the realest looking ones. I would rather not be able to find citrine than be scammed...

I went for the 2nd time. They have everything! The two women working were so kind, knowledgeable and friendly. They picked out crystals for me, answered questions AND were so patient to the 3 year old I brought. It was a great experience and I will definetly be returning soon!!!

Today is 7/ 7/17 I stopped and opened doors for the first time in ages. The girl that assisted me was fabulous! I found everything I wanted and, I got all the answers I needed.

I have been going to Brion for readings for several years. He is warm caring and compassionate.He is usually very accurate with my reading. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I took Lori’s Paganism 101 class earlier this year and it was wonderful. Lori is a fountain of knowledge, a supportive teacher, and always willing to answer any questions. She is so passionate about magick, it rubs off on you. I learned a lot in the 6-week program, and even did my own study outside of class, I was that inspired by her. We learned so much about Pagan festivals, deities & pantheons, crystals and herbs, and circle casting. I’m already taking Lori’s Crystals class, and can’t wait to learn more about Paganism from her in Paganism 201!

I would recommend this store to anyone I know who is interested in esoterics or metaphysical studies. Reiki practitioners are very knowledgeable, the tarot readers and mediums are spot on, book selection is fantastic, their crystal selection is amazing, and they have a great array of custom jewelry with crystals and stones. and to top it all of, the staff is warm and inviting!

Open Doors is a beautiful tranquil place hosting so many healing workshops. They seem to have added quite a bit to their inventory.
