I hesitated for some time before writing this review. I think the guys at Braintree Auto Center are polite and do good work, but I had an issue during my last visit that makes me think consistency and attention to detail are issues.I took my vehicle in for a state inspection, which requires a valid vehicle registration. They took the paper from me but I didnt get it back. Because I left my car there an picked it up later in the day, I didnt realize it immediately. When I called to ask about the registration form, they said they didnt have it.Im quite certain they were the last ones with the form as I have all of the paperwork from when they handed the car back and I know the form was given to them. Not having a valid registration in your vehicle makes it illegal to drive in the state of Massachusetts, and a replacement costs $25. Thats a sizable penalty considering the cost of minor car repairs.Even so, I feel like this is a good place that does good work. The staff is polite and responds to questions, and they stick with reasonable repair suggestions given what I know about cars. However, losing something as important as a vehicle registration is a big red flag. Youre best served using this garage if youre confident in your car knowledge and go in knowing what services or repairs you need.If its a complex job or you need diagnostics, look elsewhere.

Great shop. These guys have been working on my cars for years. Theyre really good to the repeat customers. If youre a new customer, tell them what you want and theyll go out of their way to get it done. More importantly, at an affordable price. Ive been quoted before, and these guys always beat the quote.

I was fooled by all those good reviews.They will try to rob you by hiding the necessary information and recommending unnecessary repair/replacement. Rude owner and staff.Take your car somewhere else.

The gentlemen at this auto repair are geniuses. My choice to purchase a very old, very beat-up small truck was not a good one...until I brought it to Charlie and Eli to fix. It was a difficult truck to work on because it had so many issues. They thought about how much the truck was worth and fixed those things that were necessary or dangerous and nothing more. The truck runs like a top now and it is all their expertise and skill that made it happen. I recommend them heartily.

Eli has a great team at BAC. Ive worked for 2 companies that have there fleet repaired there with great success & he has always done great work on my personal cars at a fair price. Its a very busy shop but these guys do a great job.

This is the best place you can bring your vehicle for repairs. The technicians are good, and they treat you really good, with respect, and fairly.
