Inventory levels are low on items needed to complete projects. Nuts, bolts, screws, bolts, etc. Rigging items like turnbuckles, tangs, etc are pretty much nonexistent. If I buy an item there, requiring installation, I almost always have to go to Park hardware to get items I need.The store is attractive and nice to shop in.

Should be 0 stars for support. Go someplace else even buy on line. I purchased a Cruise 36 fridge to replace the original. The new one is dual voltage and has never run on 12V (which I need). Isotherm support not helpful and West support while polite is less helpful. West answer is they cant replace it as it has been opened. If I never opened it how would I know if it works. Even the agent found this hard to believe. Im now 6 weeks into chasing multiple support teams around.

I tried to buy twice in web. International shopping doesnt work, they charged my card twice claiming that there is no order. I dont recommend west marine! Definitely this shop is not international friendly e-commerce.

Didnt have what I needed and asked someone if they could check other locations to see if I might be able to tell me if another location might have the item in stock. Clerk tried for about 2 minutes and said he couldnt do it without the original box.

Place is clean, staff helpful but they are expensive. I am in the process of building a swim platform for my boat and needed resin and fiberglass cloth, both of which they had a very limited selection. Will stick to buying online or at larger marine store.

West Marie has just about everything you might need for your boat. This location in particular has a nice show from floor with apparel, electronics and gear. I found some of the mfg specific tools such as a Yamaha oil filter wrench were not available but they do have a wide range or Marie repair and construction items.

Close to the highway. Helpful staff. Good assortment of saltwater fishing tackle if you dont want to go all the way to basspro for some essentials.

Generally a very big inventory, but in August 2020 was very low. Prices are high- you can do better on the internet unless you need something right away. The staff is very helpful and can answer most questions.

Well stocked and eager to help employees make it the go to store in a pinch. A bit pricey so look for sales and consider the membership . If you are looking for engine or tune up parts it can get a little frustrating. Best to look up part numbers and call before making the trip

Let me first say I liked the store...but the gentleman that watched our every move as we looked around the store made me angry...maybe we did not fit into his idea of what the customers should look like ...as we made our way to the registers he took over for the young lady who greeted us coming through the door...we tried to make small talk with him and he just looked at us like he wanted us to just go and he never said a word....wont go back to experience his snotty attitude again...

Got there 5 minutes before they closed. Just to run in and grab one thing. Had Randy follow me around the entire store telling me to “hurry” we are closing in 5 minutes. While looking at his watch giving me a minute by minute count down until they closed. Will never return, will do my boat shopping online from now on. Avoid Randy!

Its West Marine, they are all pretty much the same. Great selection, high prices and its a marine store so there is an air of if you dont buy this here you cant get it. I suppose the store has taken a pretty good dent in sales as a result of Amazon Prime.

Good selection and you can find most everything you need here for your boat. Dont order online got to the store. They have one of the worse customer service online ever! In the last couple months I must had to come here to return wrong parts at least a dozen time! Price are slightly higher but very good selection

Generally fine, but can be spotty. Some sales personnel lack real knowledge and experience about boat stuff. Some of the its stock are leaser quality Chinese knock-offs, so be careful when you choose hardware like hose-clamps, shackles, etc.

I called the day before I went about a propeller and was told they had one and would hold it for me. I was very specific as to the number of splines etc on the shaft and was given an affirmative answer. When I got there the prop came without a hub kit and that had to be purchased separately. What bull. I could buy an OEM yamaha prop complete for the same price. As usual I left empty handed. Prices way too high and sales misleading. No next time for me.

Super awesome. Bill in the fishing section was so friendly and helpful. I just picked up fishing as a new hobby and Bill was so encouraging and took the time out to explain the rod to me after having a terrible experience at quincy bait shop on w squantum. Will forever be a loyal customer here.

Walked around an empty store (no customers) for 15 minutes without anyone offering help or assistance. When I was approaching cashier to ask about kayaks he just kind of looked up at me then back down to his cell phone...so I decided to find one elsewhere.

Expensive. Went in looking for a bilge pump.Found what i needed but wasnt interested in spending $120. Went to Monahan marine in weymouth bought a better pump for $80500 gal pump with float $120 west matine750 gal pump with float $80 Monahan marineYou choose who is better.

A lot of the stuff here is expensive but they are sure to carry EVERYTHING for your boating needs from the simplest to ultra high tech. This location is better than the plymouth store. What i really like about WEST MARINE is that they have a excellent selection of SPERRY & OLUKAI shoes.

Dirty and did not have what I needed even though the website stated they had at least 10 towable tubes.

Way overpriced. Found multiple items I own and were going to buy literally twice the price of Amazon and 30+% then other marine shops.

I visit my family in Braintree Ma several times a year. I have visited and shopped at this this location numerous times. I have met alot of the employees and have always experienced fast friendly and knowledgeable service. One particular associate, Bobby Downs was very helpful, friendly and humorous, which makes my shopping experience fun and exciting. I now make it a point to visit my Braintree location when I am in town because of Bobby Downs
