This is a very nice, clean grocery store that has what I shop for. The staff are very helpful. The deli and catering is good too.

Workers are nice when they need to be, is slow sometimes with only 2 cashiers at a time. Overall great place to get energy drinks or other goods.

I’ve always loved Sunshine, but today I was blown away at the pure disrespect from 1 employee. I believe his name was Aiden. I was in line and notice his disrespectful behavior almost immediately. He was ringing up a guest and didn’t say a word the entire time until the end and all he said was “receipt?” and then just threw it on the little table next to the chip reader. You could very easily see he just didn’t care. I don’t want to be disrespectful towards him, but he just seemed like a punk. Leaning up against the little partition in between each register, going as slow as he wanted, not talking to the guest, etc…I worked at Sunshine in the past when I was 14/15 in Hartford and I always treated all my guest with the upmost respect. Engaged in conversation. Held a door for them. Brought groceries out for them. Told them to have a good day, etc….Aiden didn’t do any of these things and I hope this isn’t what the rest of the Brandon Sunshine employees are like.If they are, send them my way. I’ll teach them proper customer service.

I really enjoy shopping there, the only reason not five stars is the crew sometimes is bare bone.

They have a great selection of many grocery items including alcohol, giftware/floral, and quality produce; looks like they also offer catering. We have had good experiences while visiting the area.

How are you today this is like going back into time before the covid lockdown everyone is very friendly and you can see their smile or no strips tape on the floor telling you where to stand for or what direction to go in and it is a blessing

Definitely always have exactly what you need and more wish the prices were a little more competitive but it is a small town grocery store so its understandable otherwise service is always super fast and friendly everyone usually has a smile on their face and their meats are very good

Went in to grab something as simple and frozen pizza and ranch and when I went to check out at register 4 I was greeted by Matt and we have a good yet silly conversation about putting ranch on pizza but even thought it was just a silly conversation, I felt good when I left the store and honestly made my day.

Everyone was polite, courteous and very helpful. Store was exceptionally clean.

Brandon store is nice

I found everything I needed. They actually had a better selection of ice cream the wallmart where I live. They also had the boys athletic department packing and delivering groceries to you vehicle.

My son loves this place because of the baby carts that are just his size and the horsey ride. I love it because the staff are friendly and the food is good with a great selection for a small town.

The store is clean, staff is friendly, and they have a good selection in the produce section. If your gluten free, they dont offer much and their prices are higher than Sioux Falls but for a small town market, they are good.

Sunshine Foods has a small town grocery store feel with the variety of a bigger store. I like that this one has a Lewis Drug store attached to it so if I need something a little more household than what a grocery store can offer, Lewis probably has it.

Great for a quick stop at the market or have a prescription filled. Tonys catering is very good too. My only complaint is the prices are to high to make this a regular weekly shopping trip.

Sunshine is a clean, well lit store. The aisles are wide and everything is easy to find ... and if you cant find something the staff is very helpful! Love being able to support our local community by shopping local!

Im giving this store 5 stars because of their customer service. My disabled mother lives across the street in an elderly apt bldg & was shut in while sick due to the extremely cold weather. I called the store & they agreed to deliver some groceries to her even though they dont offer that service. Great service, thank you!

Its a small town market. the deli and meat counter are lacking. some items are horribly over priced. they do carry some items that the other stores dont. their bakery sub rolls are a favorite of mine. the service is okay, it varies widely from employee to employee. having a supermarket in town is a great convenience.

Walk into sunshine sometime and count how many employees say hello to you. Make sure you make your way back to the deli/ catering department :) If your planning an event I would suggest the Bacon wrapped chicken or having the staff grill steaks....they do an excellent job and provide a quality service :)

Good, little stop for last minute needs, can be more expensive then HyVee or Wal-Mart but has the best tasting cookies on Mondays to buy!!

Ive lived in Brandon for 8 years and have shopped at Sunshine foods several times because it is close. I have finally decided to take my business elsewhere. The people who work there are rude and never seem to be helpful at all. By far the worst grocery store I have ever been to. Hyvee will be my store of choice from now on where the workers are friendly and very helpful.

Bakery is very good, selection of fruits and vegetables, also. A little pricey, but not overly so.

This place is a joke. Any one rating this place well must be friends or family with the owner/manager. Every time you go there they are out of what you want, or if they do have what you need its ridiculously priced. Then you go to check out, there are 2 cashiers checking and half the town of Brandon waiting in line. Then its your turn and the cashiers have the manners and talking skills of someone who was labotomizes. All in all this is a horrible place that is only open because it is the only store in town. And I cant wait for the day a Hyvee or Aldi comes to town and puts this sorry excuse for a store out of business.
