Wanted to expand and cover my patio. First on-site estimate was 6-8k for patio and 8-10k for cover. My budget was 20k. They make you pay a retainer for them to proceed and draw up the plans and to provide you an accurate cost. If you back out of the deal you do not get your check back. They came out and did some measurements, cashed the check and then I never heard from them again for 2 months. I had to call them to get them to then draw up the plans and schedule a meeting to finalize the plans. The plans were way off from what I told them I wanted done. When I reminded them of what I wanted, the next day they emailed me a drawing that was little better than a sketch on a napkin and doubled the estimate to over 30k. Mind you, I did not change anything that I said I wanted since day one. I quickly got the impression that I was bothering them and that my 20k was not worth their time. I replied to the email and requested a quote for just the patio since the napkin drawing estimate for the patio was still the same as the onsite estimate but they have not responded after 2 weeks. Do not bother these people unless you live in a 500k house and have a 50k or more budget. I paid $350 for this review and I intend to make sure everyone on every possible review site sees it.
