Steer clear. Took my car in for a diagnostic after having some issues with the steering wheel. After a day and a half and having to call myself to find out why was going on (good luck if you want them to call and give updates on your car) they told me the column lock and battery were bad and quoted me about $1400. I agreed, just wanting it fixed, and was told the part would take a few days to come in.A week later I still hadn’t heard from them and decided to call and see what was going on. Told me the battery was delayed and probably wouldn’t be in for another week. Irritated, I still went with it, although I was extremely unimpressed with the lack of professionalism or customer service, I still needed my car fixed.A week later and, once again, I had to call to find out what was going on as I guess they don’t know how to pick up a phone. The parts were finally in and installed. However, apparently after they installed those parts, they found out my immobilizer was bad and also stated it would cost an additional $950. Again, irritated, I agreed as I was told my car wasn’t safe to drive without the part.Just today, almost 3 and a half weeks after I initially dropped my car off, the immobilizer finally came in and I paid the over $2000 fee to get it. While driving home, I realized that none of my door locks are functioning. Immediately, I called my service advisor to find out why my door locks weren’t working. All I got was a “oh, they probably didn’t hook them up”. Oh? Okay? So after spending over $2000 on my car I get to find out they didn’t do part of their job? So now, I get to spend my morning tomorrow before work, waiting at the dealership to “find what’s going on”. I don’t know what kind of morons they have working here, but take your car literally anywhere else and you’ll be better off. I feel scammed and like the “service experts” don’t actually know what they’re doing. Will never be returning.

Was told twice the service advisor would call me to schedule an appointment. Never called, then I was told to call the manager to schedule, called him twice, same thing, never called back. Horrible customer service.

I have been going to VW for two years for my oil changes. This last time I dropped my car off Saturday and planned to pick up my car Sunday since I had a birthday party later in the day. I notified the attendant when I dropped it off that there is a leak in the tire and to have them please fix it. I got a call they were unable to find the leak and they can’t fix it. I needed to take it to a tire shop. Which is understandable but also frustrating at the same time. I went Sunday to pick up my car. The sales team kindly greeted me and were happy to give me my keys that were usually left my the service staff. They quickly realized they didn’t have mine. They had other peoples keys but not mine. The man was seated and simply said we can’t get your keys we don’t have access to them. And he went back to whatever he was working on. I had to call someone to some get me. This is incredibly difficult to work around, as Monday is the start of the work week and...I need my car. I’ve never had any issues before picking up my car the next day and the Sales team helping me. The expectation of when you need to pick upYour car needs to be more clear. So I will try to pick up my car after the work day and it will have a flat tire—as they were unable to fix it.

Be very careful when using Haselwood Volkswagen Service, and always get a second opinion because they are either incompetent or scam artists! My story: Took my Jetta to Haselwood after the engine light came on, and would not switch off. Was told that their experts would be able to diagnose the issue but that it would cost me close to $100.00 for the diagnostic fee.I thought the fee was a little steep but I accepted knowing the engine light coming on could be a serious issue. It turned out (according to their experts using the latest diagnostic equipment and expertise) that is was a very serious issue in that my Catalytic converter had failed and needed replacing. The estimated price tag they gave me was in excess of $2000!I took them for there word, but since the price tag was so steep I brought my car to a regular mechanic to see if their price for the work needed would be lower. The mechanic after quickly looking at my car felt the issue was likely a faulty engine thermostat sensor, and not a cc issueTo make a long story short, he replaced the thermostat for less that $100.00, and that fixed the issue. Had I done the work at Haselwood they would have replaced the CC and likely would have thrown in the thermostat for a cost approaching $2500! All I can say is be very careful when using this business!!!

Everyone in the service department is amazing! They’re good at listening when we try to explain our car problems. I’ve never been treated differently as a female bringing in the car. There’s free snack, water, and coffee in the waiting area. The free shuttle service is good to use.
