I’ve done business with the West Hills Auto Plex a few times over the last few years. One thing I can always count on is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. My most recent interaction was no different. I got an email saying they would like my current vehicle which was an 07 Mazda 6 that had negative equity. They were able to take it offer me a fair enough price and add the negative to my loan. I have less than stellar credit due to some poor decisions when I was younger. I’ve been taking steps to improve that situation and west hills took that in to consideration and went to bat for me. They managed to find a deal that worked for me and got me into my first brand new car. I always recommend West Hills and this is no exception to that.
We bought new 2020 Mazda CX-5 and at the same time and we bought 3 years free oil change and maintenance package. While we we buying this package NO ONE didnt let us know that this is only MAZDA WEST HILLS package and you have to bring the car next 3 years only to our service. Now we moved to different city and they dont want transfer this package to different Mazda dealer or refund it. We went to Renton Mazda Service and they said you dont have free maintenance package. I talked to manager now they say you had to read all the contract when you sign it. Which of course no one does it especially when you buy the car they put at the same time 100 different papers on the table and push you to sign as soon as possible. Generally when you buy the car from big dealers you get nationwide service package. Its very disappointing to get this kind of service from this worldwide MAZDA dealer. Be careful when you purchase free maintenance package from this dealer. Because ones you move to different city they steal all your money which you paid.
I have never gone here BUT, I drove by them once and they were outstanding citizens. Their cars looked clean and new. Thats all I ask of a Mazda store.
Super happy with my CX-5 and the team at West Hills Mazda! Great vehicle, great service (customer appreciation, etc.). However, I believe that the actual act of purchasing could have been improved. The sales manager (who was amazing by the away) was dealing with computer issues the entire time. This is my first lease experience, but it took over two times as long (almost 3 hours) to complete the transaction than the other ten vehicles I have purchased from other dealerships. Spend some $$ on capital investments and streamline your process and this would have been a 5+ star review.
At first there was a disconnect however after additional conversation they made the needed corrections and they took care of the concerns. This would be a place to go to if you are looking for a new Mazda. Great People Great service a great team.
I was referred by a family friend to stop by and see if I could find a vehicle that I wanted. I didnt plan on getting a vehicle today but wanted to at least check out what they had in person. I had seen a few SUVs I was interested online so I ended up stopping by. I was impressed with the prompt and wonderful customer service I received as soon as I started looking at vehicles. First John helped us out and he was awesome! He listened to what I was looking for and drove us around to check different vehicles out. I found a couple of vehicles that I really liked and John brought me to one last lot to look at. Omg am I ever so happy he did because I found the SUV I really wanted!! I believe it just arrived so I didnt see it online. I didnt think it was going to work out but boy was I wrong. Brice ended up taking over for John and he also was great! I told him I didnt think it would work out as my credit isnt the greatest but he along with Lucas and a few others I believe made it happen! Im so beyond happy to now be in a vehicle I love and that is reliable!! John, Brice, Lucas, Roxanne and all the staff at West Hills Mazda are amazing people! I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle through this dealership. Thank you everyone at West Hills Mazda for the outstanding service and helping me drive off with the SUV I wanted!!!
Called hours in advance, made an appointment to see a specific car and drove 2 hours to see it. We arrive 30 minutes early to see them move the car off the lot. We talked to one sales person at the door of the faculty that took my number and said that they had someone already with a sales person talking numbers and said they would call us if it didnt sell. We come back 30 minutes later and no one will greet us at the door. we call them and the car WAS sold and all we got was a sorry.
Absolute trash.... made us chase our car deal, stipulations, financing, all of it... with our 3 kids in Bremerton for 8 hours. Finally got financing locally where we live and had no problem... They basically handed us a car we werent actually approved for and never worked the deal for us. Never will I ever go here again!
I cant say enough good things about the experience that I had here. TJ was phenominal in listening to what I was looking for and the price range I was in. They went above and beyond helping me find a new-to-me car that was reliable and affordable. I knew what I was looking for but a Chevy that I needed to trade in was a thorn in my side and they helped me every step of the way. I will most likely buy my cars here from now!
The service here is amazing as are the managers! I was able to walk away with a really nice car at my price point! The atmosphere was very friendly & i definitely recommend especially to a first time buyer like myself. They made the buying process super easy! 10/10 I would recommend.
Sold me this car with a bad turbo and in need of a timing set. Well over 2k worth of work needed.Their mechanics are great at hiding check engine lights. When I went back to address the quart of oil this car consumes daily, the finance person they had me talk to literally laughed at me.Never ever buy anything from this hill-top thieves den...
Daniel did a great job showing me what amazing lineup mazda has to offer. I may not have been there for a purchase but his extensive knowledge on the cars and friendly attitude has me looking to get one from this lot in the future. Highly recommend Daniel for any of your car needs with some smiles and laughs.
Brice handled my case with the Hyundai I recently bought, he has excellent attention to detail and exceeds the standards of being a good salesperson. He tries his best to make people feel comfortable when buying a vehicle, and won’t give you the run-around. I would recommend this dealership and this salesperson.
They sold me my new Mazda3 and I love it. Great customer service, I would suggest them to anyone.
Bought my last car from west hills and had the most amazing experience. They went over a few different cars with me and we were able to find my Tiguan! They were amazing and I would highly recommend them. They are honest and very professional.
John was an awesome salesman & west hills provided excellent service in purchasing my latest vehicle. I am very pleased with my car & look forward to working with him again for future purchases.
They where super helpful and polite!
Highly, highly recommend these guys, Brice Campbell, chris Williamson, John powers and ray! The courtesy they showed, the hard work they put in to keep us in our budget and they stayed 4 hours past closing(into midnight) to help us get the right deal! Great experience and would recommend again and again!
The last time I went to West Hills Mazda for service they told me that I needed new cabin air filters. I declined, and checked them myself. They were practically perfect, very clean and didn’t need to be changed at all. This time, the tech left my battery terminal completely loose. I literally lifted the connection off without loosening anything. They told me I needed a new battery but when I had it tested and it was not nearly where they said it was. They do not care about providing real quality service. In fact, they will lie or stretch the truth to get higher sales. I am disgusted.
Did not care for my experience here. The trade in value they gave for my car was insulting and WAY below KBB value. They tried to offer me really bad loan terms that bordered on predatory and Im really trying to be fair in my assessment here. The manager went as far as trying to low key guilt me after I declined a few of their offers and wanted to just go home because nothing was working. One redeeming thing is that the online sales woman was very nice and understanding. However, I will not be coming here in the future.
Brice Campbell was a great sales man and friend in the process of helping me with finding the right car for me. If any one needs a car go here highly recommend
Great group over there straight to the point in and out quicker than I thought. Brice and the team up there thumbs-up 👍
I went in to have my airbag serviced for a recall, staff was nice and friendly, tried to push me into buying a new car of which i had no interest, which was annoying. After the service my passenger window wouldnt roll down so i went back and had them look at it, at which point they told me it was just a coincidence and had nothing to do with the service, and told me as a favor they wouldnt CHARGE ME A DIAGNOSTIC FEE, and gave me a $400 dollar quote to replace the switch. After i got home i googled the issue and found its a common issue, literally EVERY TIME after the battery is disconnected on this model you have to reset the passenger window switch, which the dealership should have known, AFTER i had already fixed it myself i got a call from a service rep at the dealership telling me he researched the issue and it was EXTREMELY RARE (NOT) and how to fix it, so i have to at least give them credit for calling me back and admitting it was their fault.SIDE NOTE: After the service they told me my battery was bad even though i had LITERALLY had it checked a week before and was told it was in perfect working order, they also told me i needed tires which I DONT, and the lady got kind of rude when i told her i had no interest in buying them from their dealership.im here on a temporary job from out of state which i told the service lady, so it literally would make no sense for me to buy tires from a dealership i will never go to again as i wouldnt be able to use the warranty or free rotations,if im going to buy them not where i live i would obviously get them at a national chain like walmart or Les Schwab, where i can get rotations or warranty services anywhere i need, and same applies to a battery i will buy it somewhere i can access the warranty anytime needed not at some small town dealership i will never see again.Beyond the semi rudeness and incompetence the facilities were clean and professional looking, and well maintained.Update 8/28/20 received a follow up call asking me why I gave a negative review, after I answered their satisfaction survey where I outlined all the issues, it was as if they hadnt even read it, then the lady tired to sell me on the tires again, making it sound as if she was concerned for my safety even though my tires are in a safe condition, cause she really wanted that sale.Downgraded to a 1 star, all I went in was for a safety recall and received multiple unwanted solicitations for unneeded services so they could make a quick buck, I grew up around my families service station, muffler shop, tire shop and junk yard, and we would have never treated a costumer in such an unprofessional manner, west hills mazda tries to take advantage of people, assuming they dont know anything about cars to make a sale.Final Update: drove home (760 miles away) on my supposedly unsafe tires, went to my local tire shop for an oil change had them measure my tread depth and they said the tires were perfectly safe with a good amount of life left on them.
Brice and Magda were unbelievably helpful and they made my experience super easy. I could not be more happy with my car purchase!!!!
Great service, salesman was cool...finance manager helped lock my deal in! Thanks guys!
I went to westhills mazda after my mazda 3 got T-boned such a friendly and noligable, I highly recommend them. Very professional.
Everyone I talked with at Mazda was great! I worked with Donnie specifically, and he was very knowledgeable about all the features on the Mazda I was looking at and he ensured I got all the things I wanted in my new car. Everything was very relaxed and I ended up leaving very happy
Do not go to West Hills. Was initially happy with my purchase, even bought a second vehicle from West Hills Kia, you can read my review on that page.. that experience soured me on West Hills, now my initial purchase has gone down hill too.A month after I purchased a used vehicle here that supposedly passed their great inspections (their selling point on why you are getting a better deal there) a check engine light comes on. I take it in pretty easy, they read the code, no charge, tell me it could be an issue, bring it back in if the light comes back on. Ok, fairly happy, they didnt charge me and it was easy. About a month and a half later light comes back on, I take it back in, same codes are coming back up. Still under my 90 day power train warranty at this point, issue falls under that, they fix what they said would have been $1000 repair under the warranty without much fuss. Im pretty happy at this point. They almost have a loyal customer... That was until my experience at West Hills Kia. Now to top it off, its a few months later but Ive put less than 2,000 miles on the vehicle since their repair (COVID-19 and all). The check engine light comes on again. I take it to my mechanic since its not under warranty anymore. He runs the diagnostic, getting the same error code as before, they didnt fix the issue. Call up West Hills, after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, getting transferred between 3 people, they tell me someone will call me back. Two days later, no call so I call again, get an answering machine and leave a message. Still no call back, so call again day 3. I told the gentleman the same issue came back up they previously fixed. Asked if it would still be fixed under warranty since they obviously didnt fix the issue. The answer is no, I can bring it in and they will run diagnostics for $140 (extortion rates, paid my mechanic $40 to run diagnostics) and they could give me a quote to repair. Obviously Im not happy, they sold me a car with an issue that was covered by their 90 day warranty. I brought it in twice during the warranty period and they did not fix the issue, it still has the same issue it should be covered by their warranty. This company doesnt stand behind its word. Do yourself a favor and go down to Tacoma and get a much better deal. Ill not spend any more money there and if my review stops at least one person from buying there, well hopefully they lose out on any money they ripped off from me.
Was treated poorly by everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person. Was hoping to have good customer service when I spoke with the manager and that was not the case. I will not be returning with any of my vehicles and will send friends and family elsewhere.
Poor service. The team is all around unprofessional, down to the manager. Save yourself the trouble and take your hard earned money to a place that actually cares about putting people in SAFE vehicles on the road rather than just making a buck. If I could give negative stars, they would definitely get that instead.
Watch out going here. They will rip you off and bill you twice what any reasonable auto shop will charge you for parts and labor. We got the quoted work done for half the price elsewhere. Based upon the time it took them to diagnose the simple problem (at a rate of $160/hr for two hours) they do not use proficient mechanics... another mechanic elsewhere diagnosed the same in 15 minutes... On top of this, they also tried to bill us for consumables as a result of the diagnostic for like $40...for paper towels and a pair of latex gloves?...which they acted like they did us a favor by removing the charge when challenged...They will spend all their time trying to look for other work to add to the quote. They are not working in your best interest.
Jessica was amazing at helping me get into the car I wanted and Tyler was just as amazing at getting all of my paperwork taken care of timely. It was a long day so I appreciated them working fast and getting me out the door with everything I wanted and more. Great experience and a great place!
I can’t say I’m over the moon about my Mazda car purchase but I will say Max in the service department at Mazda is wonderful. He has helped me twice now- always professional and polite. He clearly cares about the customer and he takes pride in his work. Max is the five stars that West Hills is pushing for their employees to be!
Chris Waggoner was my advisor this time. He listened and was patient with me. He answered all my questions and kept me on the loop as my vehicle was being serviced. Knowing that you work for a company that has amazing employees is golden... thank you again Chris!
Awesome. They are locally oriented, people oriented, and have deals that most other dealerships dont. They also care about their customers. Twice now they have pulled me out of a tight place.
Its easy to buy from them even if youre located far away. Theyre approachable and will work with you. Trisha was very helpful.
I loved my experience at West Hills Mazda from beginning to end! I would recommend TJ to anyone!! He is fun, positive and knowledgable which contributed to an amazing car buying experience!! Scott and Ramon were also contributing factors to such a positive experience! Thank you West Hills Mazda!!!! I really love my car :)
Got my friends oil changed here with no notice and they had me in and out within 30 minutes!!!! Definitely would recommend them to anyone!!!!
Military men and Christians: Benjamin Franklin said: Those who give up liberty for safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. Likewise I say those who give up the light for dollars deserve neither light nor dollars. Darkness thrives at West Hills Mazda. You have choices. Shop here at your own peril.
I have had many problems with the service department in the past. The new service manager is top notch, very professional and on top of things. Thank you for a positive experience.
TJ is THE MAN. If you want to avoid the usual anxiety of buying a car please go and see him.At first I thought there is no way someone could be this friendly and positive but he really is.I went a month after my purchase to have him fit the plates and he was just as awesome, rare these days that sales people even remember who you are after they pocket their commission right?I swear to you, if you are like me and DREAD car buying you have to go and see TJ, he will change your life !
Kyle Kemper was a amazing salesman. He greeted me right off the bat and worked hard to find the right car for me I will be a Haselwood Mazda owner for life because of my experience at the dealership. It really is the best dealership in the northwest. They made me feel like family and I thank them for that.
Well...I didnt even get a chance to go through the car buying process because I couldnt get over the Vultures...It was horrible!! We drove around the parking lot first while the salesgirl literally chased us around the parking lot...we found a car we liked so we stopped...we got out and boy she pounced...after we told her SEVERAL times we just started looking today at cars and we JUST wanted to look right now so we dont have questions....she practically was on top of me...I couldnt even open the door because she was RIGHT there...then she jumps in the passenger side seat where I wanted to sit so my husband and I could discuss the car (he was in driver seat)...I felt like I couldnt breath. So we left....came back and when she came out again, she had ANOTHER salesman with her...but did apologize for being to overwhelmingly because she was new at selling cars...I gave her another chance and asked if we could JUST look for now and WE will come get her if we had any questions. Well she went in and immediately her boss came out....WOW REALLY!!I asked him if we could just look for now...he said He has millions of dollars of inventory and needs to watch it. REALLY...so like were going to damage or steal your cars???? We were offended and ended up leaving AND they lost a sale. HORRIBLE!! This is not the way to sell cars.We had been to other dealerships and werent treated like that.
Rebecca in the service department is fantastic. Really knows her stuff and is very helpful
Chris was great. Had an air bag malfunction light come on intermin, it was not coming on when I took it there. Found the problem ordered the part. Set me up with a rental because he felt it was not safe to drive my car. Thanks West Hills Mazda
If I could give them Negative 5 stars I would . We are so disappointed by the behavior and treatment we received there this past weekend . This is your typical car lot with deception and manipulation in full play. I really thought most car lots did away this tactic. From the moment we stepped onto the lot we were being lied to and played by Mr. T.J ....who conveniently lost the car we came to drive...they tried getting us inside while they looked for the vehicle after we test drove a brand new model and then pulled the ol bait and switch on us with the next, higher experienced sales person . Literally NO integrity whatsoever ...Id never ever buy a car from them nor will anyone I know. Shame on you .
Nice people, bad serviceTook my car here to get a new set of tires. First time they said they finished it, they put the wrong tires on. Second time they put on the right tires, but one was backwards and they werent balanced at all. Third time the tires were mounted right, but once I washed of the tire glue slathered all over the rims there were scratches and gouges all over them. Id ask them to fix the scratches they made but I dont want to risk giving them my car again.
At first they were great. Worked with us to get out of a loan we were upside down on and get us into a new car. But a day after getting everything done (contract signed, they had our trade in, we had new car) they called us up and said we had to pay them an additional charge of almost 400 dollars because they put down the wrong pay off amount on our old car. This is all after we gave them all the spare money we had for a down payment and made it clear to them we couldnt put any more cash down. This was the 2nd car i had bought from them and it will be my last. I will recommend to friends and family not to shop here as well. They messed up and now it is me who has to pay for their mistake out of pocket after the deal was made and contract was signed.
Not a great experience at this dealership with the Service Department. My car was deemed unsafe to drive and needed parts ordered I was not offered a rental car. I called after a few days to ask about one and when i went back to pick up a rental Was asked if I wanted to drive my unsafe car while the parts were being ordered? Wow!! Do they not care about the safety of their customers?? Very disappointing!!
Mechanics rejected installing mud flaps because it was too hard to install. They rather mop floors to look busy. If you want a lazy mechanic this is the place for you.
Excellent experience. Customers (me) treated with highest regards.
Fun people!!! See jessica for your new car needs
Incompetency at its greatest level.
Oil change north of $100 that took twice as long as told.
Friendly, positive, extremely helpful
