Excellent service from a fun coffee shop. Clean and inviting there is a little something for everyone. Large selection of drinks from coffee, beer, and wine. Food menu has several different breakfast/brunch items with fresh baked goods too. Lots of seating and centrally located. Prices were fair. Ill go here anytime Im in town.

I absolutely love finding local coffee shops and this one is just a great as I would hope. They had a nice variety of food in the menu and they had real honey for sweetening my latte which is my absolute favorite. I will definitely be coming here for my daily coffee while Im in town!

The owner and all of her employees are incredibly good at there jobs. They will make special. The food is all made from scratch and every time I visit it a new and great experience. I highly recommend the Downtown location on 4th street and the new location on kitsap way.

Great Italian Soda and fresh, tasty Cesar salad wrap but if you are going in any time near their closing time Id find somewhere else. They fairly aggressively tossed us out right at 6pm when we were just trying to finish a wrap. Not a great customer experience and a bit surprising from a cafe. They told us cups need to be finished by 6 so we werent clear that we had to have everything finished right on time or just the wine. Away from closing though, highly recommend.

Come here just about every morning. Dee Dee and the staff are so nice, they feel like family. They remember your name and the food and drinks are always so good.

This is a nice cafe with a variety of seating options including a sofa by the fireplace, a more brightly lit set of tables by the front windows, and a window seat. Their coffee is delicious, the staff are cheerful and friendly. I especially appreciate the gluten free muffins.

One of our favorite home town spots! We visit almost every weekend were in town. Staff is friendly! If we go for food, I always get the grilled cheese! Its absolute perfection!!! 😍 The potato salad is some of the best Ive ever had as well! The owner is from the south, so the food is real good homestyle cooking!

Decent enough food, service is friendly. However, if you spend any more than five minutes in this place, you and your clothes will smell like burnt food for the rest of the day. Sounds trivial, but it gets old when you’re back at your work desk after lunch and your clothes are making your whole desk area smell like burnt bread for hours.

A wonderful venue for gathering and my experience was a wonderful bridal shower! Great service, food and beverages and setting! I highly recommend Hit Java Cafe

Always an amazing experience from day one! Ive seen this wonderful group of people grow into this beautiful space and have become some wonderful friends. I enjoy seeing them for morning and afternoon-pick-me-up coffee, a drink after work, lunch and I stop in on weekends as well. This will always be my favorite coffee (and more) shop.

The coffee was great along with the food and the ladies working. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Worth 5 stars but the breaded treats were a little pricey. Will return for coffee. Definitely a downtown try.

I ordered and forgot my wallet. One of the gals recognized me from the week before--we had spoken about my becoming a regular to eat/drink and write. Disappointed not to get my latte and muffin, I mentioned Id just write. The gal behind the counter told me if I didnt buy anything, I couldnt stay. There were plenty of seats. Harsh treatment for a new and would-be regular customer. Looking for a new coffee shop.

I had a meeting in downtown Bremerton on 6/13/18 and I went out of my way to stop for a coffee before the meeting. It was 5:55pm, the door was open and the sign stated they closed at 6pm. However, the employees would not serve me and said they were closed. I understand that employees have to clean up and they want to go home. Clean up should be built into the time they are scheduled and not interfere with business hours. Business 101 - Serve customers during the hours that you dictated.

Really nice local spot for those looking for something more intimate than Starbucks. Excellent coffee, ice cream, light food and baked goods. Ive always enjoyed the chocolate served with specialty coffees. Each drink is served with a chocolate covered espresso bean or chocolate waffer.

This place has super friendly staff and such a welcoming environment! Me and my best friend also got some reusable coffee cozies there for Halloween!

Friendly people and good service. They go out of their way to make your drink the way you want it in the morning, and they dont skimp on the portions at lunch. They even have a loyalty program (for when you get addicted)!

Place is clean, great service, decent coffee. They have great food selections. Daily specials (I came on free shot friday). Gluten free coffee cake was decent.

Really friendly baristas. The coffee is quite good. Amazing breakfast sandwiches cooked to order. They carry gluten free cupcakes, cookies and other goodies from Barking Dog Bakery. Try them out.

The only cafe I want to go to in Bremerton! The food is great and the staff is wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough! Whether you want a quick bite to eat or a quiet-but-not-too-quiet place to study with a nice chai, Hot Java is my favorite place.

Fabulous Customer Service & great breakfast sandwich....they can do an egg white breakfast sandwich with a whole bunch of veggies - avocados, spinach, tomato, grilled onions - highly recommend!!!

I went there and ordered a coffee cake they gave me the most burnt one they could find I took a bite of it when I got to work and it was like a rock I had to throw it away I thought it was a honest mistake so I came a couple weeks later to order a drink I ordered a vanilla bean all they did was give me a cup of milk with a shot of vanilla in it...it wasnt iced Like it supposed to be everywhere else I were to coffee they do it right except here or whip creme like I asked I gave them two chances and never come back.. Friendly staff.. terrible coffee.. burnt food

3 times we have stopped in and have been turned away because they closed earlier than the advertised hour. That is why i only give 2 stars. When you can get in the food is great especially the brownies.

Nice atmosphere and place, but the bathroom needs a key which is annoying. Good menu variety and my caramel machiatto was delicious. However their chai latte is essentially cinnamon water.

Staff is friendly to everyone who comes in and if you are a regular customer they learn your likes and dislikes very fast and make you feel right at home .They have the best salads in town in town and I am not that found of salads unless they at made with spinach as I find lettuce to be tasteless.

I stop in here frequently to pick up a panini and a drink from their constantly rotating tap list. Everything has been wonderfully prepared and arrived promptly. My wife enjoys the lattes and mochas.

99% great people and great smiles. So then why the two stars you were wondering. This comes into mentality and product your danishes that he will be purchasing or from Costco. The beers on tap are not local. But I am looking at small Bremerton businesses I am hoping that they are supporting their fellow County at least and community. It also comes down to portioning. Say Im expecting a 4-ounce portion but there are 6 and 1/2 oz of portion left for them to deliver. The mentality is to split the six and a half oz or even yet 5 oz into two servings that will look almost correct leaving me and another person short instead of me or the other last person in line getting a slightly extra portion. I did find the coffee knowledge and coffee to be good and the art on the wall especially the current art by karna Peck very creative and gave me flashbacks. My food experience here has been inconsistent and wavering. Though the atmosphere is good so if youre looking for a cup of coffee and some Wi-Fi time I still do recommend.

One of the best coffee joints in Kitsap county! Four stars because the bathroom is the buildings bathroom, not the coffee shops, so you have to ask the baristas for a bathroom key to get in. But the baristas are always friendly, the coffee is good, the atmosphere is comfy and nice.
