People behind the counters were exceptionally rude to an older guy that was in there.

Quite a bit of electrical material for work comes from Platt and they almost always have what we need when we need it. Their people are also helpful and knowledgeable.They do get a lot of homeowners coming in with odd requests for non-code-compliant solutions...about every other time Im in there, somebody is trying to get something weird. If youre getting electrical devices, parts and pieces, wire, or normal tools, theyre a good place to start and youll probably leave with what you were looking for our theyll have it quickly. If youre looking for a specialty control panel, circuit board components, a pond aerator, etc. they may be able to order some of those things, but dont expect them to have them in back somewhere.

Terrible service. Asked for and paid for seventy feet of 4/0 aluminum wire. Received forty five feet. A day wasted. Purchased a generator connection box to tie into the circuit breaker panel. At the same time asked for the female connector to hook into the box. They picked a male connector instead of the female. Another wasted partial day. After these two incidents I asked for a strut. I was informed if I didnt know the right term for the item they couldnt help me. At this point I was done with dealing with them. Paid my bill and will never go back.

This place is top notch. Staff is very knowledgeable, courtious, and they have stock on hand of most common items and what they dont, is usually next day delivery. They are the #1 supplier on Kitsap peninsula, no question. Check them out.
