A cozy and kid friendly book store nestled in the heart of historic down town. Located between Belle Alley and S Douglas st. Also, not far from Toubin Park, to learn about the history of Brenham.

We found this amazing shop as we were driving through downtown Brenham. The shop is simply great with a wide variety and collection of books. One of the best part about the shop is they themed some rooms according to the genre and it felt quite nice! There are a good selection of new releases as well. Book marks, greeting cards, pins, tote bags are just some of the other things that they carry! I highly recommend at least a stroll through the store, Im sure youll find something youll like!

I think I’ll just live in this bookstore. Friendly staff, organized well, and felt like a little slice of book heaven. Also obsessed with the neat book furniture pieces I found throughout the store!

The Book Nook is a textbook small independent book store! They have a great variety of books, even things you wouldnt necessarily expect in a small town in Texas, and can special order just about any book on the market for you. Im trying to cut down on my Amazon purchases, and The Book Nook is a great place to direct all of my book shopping!

When I walk into the Book Nook, they are friendly and helpful. There are places to pause and sit while selecting books. The also have a diverse assortment of socks, candles, and unique gift items for book readers. It is a colorful, welcoming place that I enjoy visiting.

Every time we visit the book nook we come out happy. We always get Great customer service and we find good books.

Deceptive online ordering. Thought I was ordering a set of 12 books but only received 4. If $40 is the price for 4 used kids books that is wrong

This place has amazing quality. The environment is cozy, which makes it feel like home instead of a bookstore. I found some things there you cant find in a regular bookstore. Its a real treasure. Nice place.

I am in love with this bookstore. Everything is well organized and easy to find. I was amazed at the wife range of both new and used books available as well as stickers and gifts. If youre looking for gifts for a Harry Potter fan look no further.

I just absolutely loved this place. I got to scoop up some orson Scott books for a really good price and I got some really cool stickers aswell. The variety of books is really good and the atmosphere is so welcoming I love ish I could’ve spent more time in there to see what other treasure I could find. Highly recommend this place if your a book worm like me

Absolutely the best place to shop for new and gently used books.

I never visit Brenham without shopping here! The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The store layout is immensely appealing (who doesnt want a bookshop that goes on and on for days with separate rooms for different genres?), and you never know what youll find that you didnt know you needed! Unless youre a better planner than me and you check the online inventory on their awesome website. Then you would know exactly what youll find. I love that they participate in downtown events with other businesses, and host other great events when were not in the middle of a pandemic! Oh, and did I mention the socks???? Five stars all the way!

Really cute place right in downtown with very friendly and helpful staff. My favorite place to get things for my nieces and nephew, they always have something I know theyll love. Pretty wide selection of books as well, plus its just a fun store to be in in general.

Beautiful (and large!) collection of new and used books. Found what we needed for a school project and well as perused their extensive collection. Books, puzzles, pins, greeting cards, bags. Definitely worth a stop in!

Stopped in here on my way from Houston to Austin. Its in cute little shopping district that is wonderful to walk around. The workers there were so pleasant and friendly, it made for a great break in between my long drive.

Is it seriously worth losing a customer over $2 shipping? I wanted to give my money to a small business. You could have called me and asked me to send you the $2. Instead you sent the email to my husbands email that doesn’t get checked. I registered with my email address. Everyone always says shop from small businesses and right now don’t you need the business? If I wouldn’t have called, when were you going to ship my product? Over $2!! I was planning on purchasing more.

This shop is adorable! They have so many different rooms with different themes: Teen, Fantasy, Mystery, Childrens, Romance, etc. And they have puzzles, socks, and lots of various gifts. Their prices are exceptional, and the staff is friendly. Definitely worth stopping by

I had time to waste so I wondered in and Im glad I did. I found a little gem of a bookstore. Charming store with a good selection and nice staff. I am definitely returning when Im in the area.

I read about The Book Nook online and had to go! I took a day trip with my kids and it took us just over an hour to get here....SO WORTH IT!! This place is amazing. Incredible selection of books, awesome staff, the coolest little trinkets....AND funny socks! My 11 year old was even walking around saying, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Friendly and happy staff....truly a cool place totally away from the rest of the world!!! :) :) :) :)
