The parking lot was dark, from the main road you dont know its back there. I went in for some seafood, sushi, they dont have a fresh seafood section like the other Stop&Shops, just a freezer, saltfish, and tuna? Really didnt expect it to be this sad looking.

Great family grocery store everything there is to and honest price very nice store .

Best produce in Fairfield. Not a great selection but all the basics since its a small store on villa ave wonderfully convenient to everywhere. Shady parking for summer heat and starbucks to keep you going first thing on the right as you enter. No more free samples but that is ok since you can get great bakery items right there with that unpronounceable latte.

Over priced forget about getting service if you need help finding something.There is no help inside store (no employees to be found anywhere other than the front end)Go to ShopRite their prices are better and their service is MILES better

I think theres maybe 3 S&S in bridgeport? This one on Fairfield ave, BlackRock turnpike, and main street near Trumbull....I like the BlackRock one best, however I go to this ffld ave the most. The one near tbull sucks. Its dirty and smelly. This one on ffld ave is pretty clean, well stocked. The customer service could user some work, but its not horrible. And there are some who seem to truly enjoy their job and its refreshing. I love that they carry my ginger beer in the fridge section. I wish theyd sell the shredded Brussels sprouts again. Theres usually a guard in store, theres a peoples bank, no pharmacy, lack luster floral dept. Not a bad store though!

Went in to buy three things they had zero of those three things. I really wish these stores would learn how to stock their shelves properly so I didnt have to go to four different grocery stores to complete my shopping list.

Stop & shop in Fairfield was better than the one in bridgeport . Shopping carts in bridgeport was old dirty and rusty, not in Fairfield

I will never shop at that stop and shop ever again I had a coupon that says save up to $5 not save $5 but your employees cant seem to comprehend that but they want $15 an hour for what being rude and nasty. Only 1 cashier on a register so have to use self checkout so wheres my pay Im doing their job and they dont. Their too busy talking laughing playing on their phones I am so done with rude nasty emplyees

I thought all was fine only find out my coffee creamer had been open and clawed into. At first I thought, this must be some mistake. But it is so clear the someone ripped open the seal and drank some only to close and put it back on the shelves. This is not the first time I’ve noticed a lid was lose on a product. This is very disappointing, especially during a pandemic. I thought this would be my new go to stop and shop!

Good afternoon, this Stop & shop is convenient but the customer service desk need a better system when it comes to delivering service to the customers. There is one person waiting on people and you have Western Union, returns and lottery all being done by one person Western Union is very time consuming why not have at least two people one for lottery and returns this will help the line move a little faster and it will relieve the congestion at the service desk. You are loosing quite a few people because of this issue. I hope something can be done concerning this matter. Happy New Year 🎉 Regular Customer

They never have what Im looking for. Its not as well stocked as the one in Fairfield. Went there one day, around midmorning, to buy fresh meat for the nights dinner and there was barely anything out. I wouldve thought by that time the store would be fully stocked for the day. Sad!

This is a good store they have more in stock than the other stop and shops but the only problem is there have snotty people working on the register what are managers thinking when they do the hiring personally when I go shopping I like to deal with cashiers that are nice and friendly but at this store you duct get that to often!!!!!!

In a hurry, I picked up a carton of Swanson Bone Broth, got home and went to open it, and realized that it was FOUR months expired, and the seal was already cracked. I called the store, asked if I would be able to swap it for one that wasnt opened or expired. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude huffing and puffing as Im speaking to her, and then has the nerve to ask me well how expired is it? I dont care if it was 2 hours past the expiration date, for a grocery store to actually be selling expired food is not a good look. Ive worked retail, clearly someone isnt doing their job properly. Anyways, I was then told they couldnt take it back if it was opened...but I bought it from yall already opened! So I had to waste money by throwing it away, and going to the Fairfield store to buy an unopened and unexpired one.

Convenient location on Fairfield ave (state route 130). Easy_off_easy_on from exit 25 of interstate 95 (Connecticut turnpike).Rough neighborhood for sure but they always have police officers stationed in or near the entrance/exit.This store is good for ethnic foods probably because it is located in a mostly minority neighborhood.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My wife had to deal with racism from a rude customer on the line, then belittled by a representative when she was not clear on how to punch in codes for products. Unfortunately for you stop and shop I love my wife way to much and in no way will ever tolerate racism or that level of disrespect towards her. You have completely lost our business. Fortunately for us there are plenty of places willing to accept our hard earned american dollars.

My local Stop and Shop. I pop in about 5 days a week for my fresh vegetables that I prepare for dinner. Its super simple and if your a person with the occasional bout of social anxiety, the self check out is usually very quick and hassle free.

Morning time is the best time to come

I have been a regular customer of Stop&Shops’ since I can remember. I frequently used to visit all 3 Waterbury locations at least 3 times a week and have always received exceptional service. I’ve just recently moved to Bridgeport and to my disappointment I have learned that the Fairfield Avenue location is by far the worst Stop & Shop store I have ever visited, not only is the staff very unprofessional and unaccommodating . All the cashiers are rude and never seem like they want to be there. Today I visited this location simply for convenience, (I usually will go out of my way to avoid this store at all costs) and to no surprise, I received the same dissatisfactory service as always. Normally I would use self checkout to avoid a rude cashier but I had a full cart and didn’t want to wait in the self-service lane that had about 15 people in queue. I simply asked a cashier if there was anyone who could ring me out for my items since not a single lane had a cashier in it, to which she snarkily replied,” Your gonna have to wait cause I have to clean all these registers.” No worries, I figured she may be having a bad day and didn’t want to start any issues as she seemed miserable enough as it was. She then proceeds to ring me out and the minute her supervisor/manager walked by she yells out,” I’m not cleaning anymore registers because people got a problem with it and signals to me and the person I’m shopping with.” The manager then proceeds to look at me and say “well they need to clean registers and I don’t have enough people to do everything” (which in all honesty isn’t my problem, I come here a and pay for my items, I expect to be at least rung out in a timely manner). I then explain to her that there are three people wiping down registers and not a single person is checking people out, it doesn’t make any sense. They then both respond to me,” if you have a problem with it you can use the self-checkout!” Unbelievable! If I’m expected to use self-checkout what are the cashiers being paid to do !?!? Wipe down registers that are seemingly not in use anyway? The cashier then proceeds to get loud and rude so I simply asked for her name. She tells me her name is Rachel however my receipt says her name was Michelle, so I’m not sure what her name was ( olive toned skin, dark hair and glasses) This store is not up to par to the standard that I have come to expect from a Stop&Shop location and am highly disappointed in the establishment for letting behavior like this to slip through the cracks. I’d highly recommend for Ray Young (Store Manager) to re-evaluate his team and reenforce how crucial proper behavior and attitude in the work environment is to overall customer satisfaction. As for Michelle/Rachel, if she hates her job so much that she can’t even ring out a customer she probably should have never become a cashier in the first place. She should be happy to have a job in this horrible pandemic! As a loyal customer to Stop & Shop I will probably have to take my business elsewhere and recommend for my family and friends to do the same.

Cant believe that after the strike it just got worse. The store looks dark and dirty. No one is around when you need help. And when you are ready to check out. There is one register with a line. And all self check out opened with one person . I come to shop, not wait in line and check my self out. I aleady worked all day, and do not want to work. I do not work for stop shop or get a discount for doing this job. I just left 1/2 my of the food there. WHERE ARE THE WORKERS...

As a regular customer at this store I am always satisfied with the stores neat appearance as well as the helpful employees. I was beyond thankful today that a manager went above and beyond her duty to help me out. I am so truly appreciative that my stop and shop has excellent people like her!

The customer service need to have two people working because western union takes up extra time and the line is always long!! It should be a separate person to do lottery and returns!!

My main grocery store. Even though I live closer to the one in the dock. I leave work stop here. Always in and out. And they always have what Im going for. And the 1/2 off bakery rack. Always cures my and my sons sweet tooth. Affordable! Bonus.

I like this supermarket. I have been going there for 6 months now and everyone is actually friendly and nice. The produce are clean and organic, the cashier is cute. And they have all the food I need for my house.

Ive been shopping at this store for a long time. Since the strike it has changed drastically. They now have the worst customer service Ive ever seen. If you need a raincheck they act like youre a criminal ... having someone check that theyre really out.For the second time I had to wait at least a quarter hour. No more. Im going to switch my family store to Shoprite where they treat customers properly!

Always get my beautiful flower there.

The fruits and vegetables there are always fresh and if you want some good fried chicken or cheesecake without the hassle of making it yourself, look no further. However, the cashiers move pretty slow and one of the self check out lanes are almost always broken or unavailable.

Okay at best, good sales and friendly cashiers/staff. However, meats and bread items - check the expiration dates and fresh fruits and veggies, not so fresh...they spoil faster because I think theyre freezing them before putting them out..so buy and eat quick!

Perfect Place to purchase all your grocery stuff at once... You will find most of all the varieties in frozen food, gourmet food, milk products and flavoured yogurts.

My favorite S&S!!!!!!! I absolutely love this store and location!!!! Its conveniently located and has everything I need!!!!The best bakery over their other stores, a great deli, and grocery depts as well!!!! Highly recommended.
