Great experience learning from Oliver and Luca. The training was concise and direction was clear. I had a blast and learned a ton. I highly recommend Black Rock and the team!

Absolutely amazing! Went out for the first time with Oliver today and it was perfect. Black Rock Kiteboarding supplied all the gear including a really nice wetsuit and PFD. Great communication all the way through, they even had a waterproof headset and mic built into the helmet so you can hear instructions and ask questions even when youre not right next to the each other. I cannot wait to get back out.

First and foremost, Oliver is the man! Great experience and phenomenal teacher. Teaches the importance of practicing safe kiteboarding and recovery techniques as well as the tools of the trade and how to utilize them properly. Well worth the price, cannot wait till our next outing! 🙌

Took the intro course in August 2018 and was absolutely amazed by the skill and knowledge of the instructor. He geared the flow and level of instruction perfectly to what I needed, with a constant eye on a perfect mixture of safety and fun. He uses clear communication and displays lots of patience. I learned so much more than I expected and recommend this school/instructor to anyone seeking to learn or improve their skills in this great sport!

Oliver is an incredible teacher and made my experience learning kitesurfing comfortable, safe, and an overall blast! Best advise I could give for someone trying to learn kitesurfing is simply listen to Oliver. At our last session I listened to his instructions carefully through the headset and next thing I know I was cruising across the surface of the water. He watched and taught patiently to identify what I was doing right and what I needed to be aware of. I can’t wait to get back out on the water!

My instructor was awesome. During my first lesson he made me feel very safe and explained everything thoroughly. He took the time to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. The location is also amazing, best spot in Fairfield county to start learning, even for advance riders. The instructor is so passionate about kiteboarding and it is rare to have such a professional and experienced rider who is also an amazing instructor. Cant wait for my next session!

I found Olie Berlic to be a fantastic teacher, I made more progress in one session than all my previous lessons combined. I would highly recommend him to any aspiring kite boarder, and Im thrilled he is local.
