Horrible service. We rented a skid steer with the trailer and when we went to pick it up it wasn’t even loaded on the trailer. Every single rental place gives the machines ready to go. They make you do everything. Got charged almost $1,500 for one and a half day rental because they said we did damage to the machine. Supposedly they have pictures of when the machine was taken but they don’t want to show them. Pure scam they love to fill there pockets up. Never renting there again. We recommend you don’t as well.

Today with all the big mega retailers trying to put the small guy out of business its nice that theres still a place like this out there. I needed guidance with a drainage system and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. A great bunch of guys that are surrounded by a super clean facility.

Complete disregard for near disaster caused by their total screwup. The counter guy (grey hair/glasses) is arrogant and would rather argue than make the situation right. (DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS A LONG TERM CONTRACTOR, EVEN THEN I WONDER)The story:Im doing sound for a float in the Stamford Parade, I called Madison to reserve a specific quiet model generator, reserved, weeks in advance. I call one week ahead to check if were good, was told they wrote me for a different week, but no problem to change to week needed....pfew!! glad I called!!Day came to pick it up, I was told I dont see any paperwork, you probably rented somewhere else..I said no, it was here, he finally figures out another guy is pulling it down already...pfew again!! Guy comes in says were gonna start it up and make sure it runs...small flag goes up but what the heck.. guy comes back in and says I want to turn it off and make sure it starts again.. Im like okaaaay?...comes back again says sorry it wont restart, cant help you today... I said how are you going to resolve this? I NEED to walk out with a gen in the next half hour....says Ill see what I can do...comes back and says want to see other gens I have? Sure, so we go look, has nothing but loud screamers, not good for float, I saw mine and asked whats wrong with this? No battery, I said howd you start it? Said I jumped it So if no battery how the heck were you planning on renting it to me? Said I thought you might be able to use pull start but it wont run with no battery I said you have to be kidding me....so go get a battery!!, he said Ill try. Mean time Im in the shop, I look at other generator and see a battery, I personally swap it into my gen, turn the key and waalaa! It works! I went back to showroom and said write me up, its fine! Guy come back to inspect and says I cant let it go like this I had stern conversation about not having a choise at this point, he conceded and FINALLY wrote me up and helped load it in...hats off to ME!Parade went off perfectly, rave reviews about the sound!Story not done.... ran into traffic jam trying to return before 5:00 deadline and got there late, came next day at open time, and was charged an extra day. I asked for consideration due to traffic and for the stressfest with me having to make it work myself to avoid a complete disaster, grey haired arrogant guy says you didnt fix anything, we gave you a working gen, and you returned a working gen, a day late, thats IT!! Customer insulted, burned....customer LOST!! So dont chance anything important here, go to a dependable professional place instead, customer service and dependability matters!!
