Well in case no one knows American Freight, is actually a Sears Appliance Outlet, that of course leaves us with a question, do they still sell Kenmore washing machines, the answer is No, those machines were excellent, lasted decades, you never called a repairman, like in our case. Thats because they never broke down or you could fix them yourself easily. Now you have these digital ones, you press buttons now and if youre lucky youll see a repairman within 6 months because the mother board needs to be change, one then again and again, but they are pretty, but performance wise they will never match up to the old Kenmore and the only place to get the dial control ones would be at a used appliance store. So if digital is what you want American Freight is where to go..... Plz. take care and be safe.

This is our go to place for our appliances. American Freight employees Fred, Romey, Nate and Mike are amazing at what they do they make our experience fun. Their knowledge is in our favor by helping us decide what is best for us. We are grateful to be able to shop here.

I can in the buy a dishwasher and I was met by Romey and Mike. They answered all my questions and were very patient with me. I can’t give these guys enough praise for their customer service. Products not updated. Drove an hour to pu a fridge that said available. Was even able to buy it online. But, NOPE not there!! Complete BS!!!! At the very least, put a disclaimer to call first.

Fair price for a washing machine I purchased, however... DONT fall for their financing options. An associate claimed there would be NO hard credit inquiries for financing, which was a lie. It cost me 4 points on my credit score which will stay there for 2 years. The $50 they advertise does not apply to the loan. Its not a down payment, its a fee. There is also an additional $5 fee for processing. They claim you have 12 months to pay off the loan, but for an $800 washing machine, the interest alone would have been over $1k! Thats roughly a 125% interest rate. They also claimed you can pay off the loan for no interest within 101 days. This is also a lie. There is a $100 penalty for doing so, in addition to the $55. I ended up paying for the washer in full, on the spot, but I was still charged the $55 by the finance company for having gone through the application process. I ended up having to call the finance company in order to get my money back. Well see if they actually do. Very shady business practices which pray on poor/uninformed folks. UPDATE: I received the $55 back. In response to the owners reply: The APR offered to me was 125% and my credit score is over 720. APR of 36% is still robbery and offered to who, exactly? Bezos? These characters are just as bad as used car salespeople. Get it in writing and read the fine print. Their associates will happily lie to your face--that was my experience.

I wanted to buy an upright freezer and I was looking for the largest capacity freezer that could fit in my basement. I located one at American Freight in Bridgeview, Illinois. Romey helped me through the whole process and he was a superstar. I will for sure go back to this store for my next appliance.

Ive been here before for a greatly priced comfy mattress and now a freezer. Romey and Mike have great prices and are amazing to us.

Staff on this night was extremely kind and helpful. Remember this is the outlet, so most of there item are scratched and dent. But it still great brands & they work. Love to get quality items from here.

If you are looking for the best deal in town for appliances, go see Rommie at American Freight! Rommie worked with me to get the best deal on a washing machine. Some of the machines have minor cosmetic damage, i.e. nicks or scrapes, though I cant see anything like that on my brand new GE washer. They delivered quickly and the installer was professional and quick. Buying a washer from American Freight was a great experience and I am thrilled by the money I saved in doing so!

Wide open space everything organized well. Prices are pretty tham fair a little scratch here or a dent there. Well worth the price. Wont be seen when its installed.

There is a lot of selection there. But I wouldnt say its 100% guaranteed. I bought a dishwasher and didnt know until it was installed that the drain hose had a hole in it. Its not a visible part, and in order to see it you have to look under the sound barrier cushion. So that was an unpleasant surprise. And I forgot to make sure that the kick panel was included; edit 12/1/20 After getting this dishwasher installed a 2nd time, my friends installing it (1 union electrician, 1 union sprinkler fttr) found that there was a 2nd leak in the front door. If Amer. Freight actually tested it, this leak wouldve been seen.

Me and my wife went to American Freight looking for a refrigerator yesterday (Bridgeview location) and the only worker in the place was rude and ignorant. We asked him if they were getting anymore refrigerators in stock because they didnt have many and he told us with a straight face that if we want to know the future that he would charge us $500 for a tarot reading. This employee is the reason we took our business somewhere else.

I recently purchased a French door refrigerator from the Sears Outlet in Bridgeview. When I purchased the refrigerator, it was missing 2 door bins which the store manager (Fred) said they would order at nor charge. I called the following week to inquire as to whether these door bins were ordered. Fred was not in and the salesperson looked up my order and told me that they had been ordered. Fast forward 3 months and I still didnt have the door bins. Called Fred (the store manager) AGAIN and he could not find my order - he asked me for a phone number he could call me back at instead of leaving me on hold to find my order. I waited 3 days for him to return my call and ended up calling back with the receipt number. With the receipt number Fred found the order and advised me that they had not been ordered and he would order them right away. Now it has been ANOTHER month, and I have heard nothing and am calling AGAIN only to find out that they cannot find my initial purchase nor the order for the door bins. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this store and the fact that when I call they cannot find the order. This is HORRIBLE customer service. It is safe to say that I would not recommend this store, nor will I ever return there to purchase anything!!!Within 1 day of my posting, my issue was resolved!!! Dont understand why my order could not be pulled up by telephone number, but that is obviously a computer glitch that on the part of Sears system. THANK YOU!!!

The problem I have is I dont know if this store actually has the parts I need. Not sure if I can order then through the store or not because when u call it directs u to hold for a representative and then it immediately hangs up on you.? Are we able to speak with a representative or not? Because so far no luck and I live 25 miles away. O would hate to get there after an hour drive and cant get any help

I was there with a friend but he looking to purchase a couple items.

I have rarely write a 1 star review about anyone, but had to in this case. Its just been a horrible experience as my washer dryer I purchased was missing parts and did not work properly when we went to use it. Its now a month later and trying to get it replaced. (they will not refund your money if its broken, just replace it). Every time I call, I get someone else who is not aware of my problem, and have to start from scratch. The manager was very nice, but its very hard to get him on the phone as hes either busy or not there at that time. After a month, I finally got a call that they found another unit to replace my broken one. Thats great except its again almost impossible to get someone on the phone to schedule it to be delivered and replace the broken one. They are nice people....but my experience has left me with the conclusion that I will never again purchase something from a Sears Outlet Store, sadly. Thats not the Sears I grew up with.

Instock items on website not really in the store. We came to buy a dryer listed as available at this location and when we arrived salesman says it has been gone for some time. Sitting here in the parking lot Sears website still says I can pay for it and pick up in store. Shady way to do business having low priced items listed as Instock on the website and not actually having those items in the store. Shame on Sears.

My experience with this company was absolutely horrible. It started with the delivery process which was terrible. I was told after purchasing a stove that we could not get the stove until Tuesday which we accepted. On the day of delivery we received no call or text to comfirm our delivery. I called the ppl and asked what time would they be there for delivery they replied between 4-6. I then told them that i was calling because i never received a call from them. The sales clerk decided to argue with me on the phone stating that he did call me the day before and he couldnt have me down for delivery if it wasnt confirmed. Fast forward to the actual delivery. The stove that was delivered to us was not at all what we received. We got a dented, banged up and scuffed up something of an appliance which is not what we picked out originally. We are definitely not i repeat not recommending this place. They have a bunch of inexperienced, unprofessional kids working for them. Not good

My husband and I were looking for a futon mattress and they had it here! Although it was far for us we got our futon.

They want you to come here thinking you are getting a great deal but you probably wont. If you need delivery, expect to pay a lot for it which ruins whatever discount you think you had. Most of items are priced at or above sale prices of brand new items at appliance stores which usually have free delivery. So shop around. Occasionally you may find a damaged slow moving appliance that is priced very well. But you probably wont want it. Ive purchased hundreds of appliances and I stop by to take a look but usually leave disappointed.

Just had bought a fridge from this store a month now they were helpful at first but since the purchase they havent been so helpful at all still waiting on my receipt for the purchase of the fridge and still waiting on them to refund me back my delivery fee that I had to pay extra for wich the manager there said I would get refunded when I got the fridge delivered and everytime I call Im supposably talking with a manager and no one can seem to tell me why I havent received my receipt or my refund and still waiting on them to call me back to find out whats going on and I already called that store a handful of times just the worst customer service
