Stay Away!!! Bad bad bad experience. First time bringing a deer there 147lbs said it was a large deer which it was not. Told me $200 plus sausage maybe extra $20-30. I expected to pay at the most $230. They called said it’s $308 cash only. Tried talking to the owner he said it was $308 don’t like it go somewhere else while he was using his knife pointing at the price list. He kicked the door open and walked away. What a class act. Bad bad customer service!!! Never going back. Can’t believe he’s still in business.

Great place to process your families meat. If people have never taken the life of an animal and looked it in its eyes as it gives its life for you to live then you should not be allowed to eat meat. Thank you for you hard work Den Besten farm !!!

To preface this I was not able to go on the day I was getting my pig, I had to send my brother in to get it. His first statement is that it is a legitimate slaughter house where if you walk in you can see a pig getting its jugular cut. They also congratulated him for not passing out. Now some people might have a problem with that and its understandable, however I find that if I am going to eat it and I cant look at it in its face then I dont deserve it. Now all that aside, what I ordered from them was a pig butterflied open and I got just that. The only reason that its not a 5 star review is because the only other place I have ever gone to cleaned it out and drained it better from being slaughtered the day before and not that day. However great place and I am definitely ordering from them again.

I have been going to den besten for years, great processors. They slaughter all my turkeys, ducks, and chicken for meat. I will occasionally buy a pig, for roast. Great people, Great place.

Traveled 1 hour to get there the sign said open until 2pm I got there at 12pm the guy there told me they closed even thou there was other people inside buying... bad management bad costumer service!! Recommend nobody to go there!

Worse ever. Not only the owner is racist. He is rude and doesnt know what customer service means, within a hour I witnessed him tell a guy go back to his country and discriminate against the Islam religion and values.

The guy who works there was rude. We called ahead saying we would like to buy goat meat..the guy on the phone says he is going to buy goats on tuesday and we can come on Wednesday and select one. We get there on Wednesday he says...oh things do not work like that here..we needs to book a goat, give him an advance and only he will do the job. When we asked why didnt he tell this over the phone the guys answer was dont bother me I have a busy day. The customer service sucks here.

I got the worst experience he dosen’t know what even the pounds for any animal says everything costs the same he is 100% rasict and dosent like people with accents worst experience in my life horrible place.

((((Dumping blood and guts and human waste in the field illegally, has no septic system board of health need to be called, this place needs to be shut down. Terry and the whole crew drink alcohol while working,the place is crazy. Also buys diseased animals and nurses them back to health and slaughterers them and sells them to the public as grade A meat. Needs to be shut down!!!!

Bad service, these guys have no idea of what costumer service is . Dens daughter is rude and too pricy, I will never go back to this place again . If you had in mind to go there, I would encourage you to change your plan and look for a better alternative, this place has no sanitary control, not even a veterinary service to check on the animals .....

I believe her name is Lisa; poor customer service to her customers. In 2 different occasions I saw her go to her car to have a drink .
