Great customer service. I use their delivery and curbside pickup option very often, they’re always on time and I am almost always fully satisfied with my order/substitutions. I appreciate that they give the option to decline or accept substitutions.

It was a good shopping experience. A manager has already taught me how to upload the digital coupons right on my card and I had it done within the first 5 minutes that I was in the store. This is a blessing. I was able to find almost everything that I had on my list. Whenever they have a certain fresh mozzarella on sale, I can never find it. Tonight was no different. But I got everything else and if I needed to ask questions there were quite a few employees available for me to ask. I tend to shop at ShopRite when there are sales on things that I buy. Thats usually about once a month. Its a good store with good people and the digital coupons are very easy to acquire.

One of the best grocery stores around and you cant beat the prices none of the other stores even come close if you dont believe me go there and check it for yourself

ShopRite has always had the best prices, & now were ordering from home remotely with curbside pick-up - and were quite pleased. The people working there are most accommodating, plus it seems safer! We bring our own bags & I can even give them coupons!😊

ShopRite of Bristol has ALWAYS been VERY customer service friendly. No matter if you are going in to the store for 5 minutes or an hour.Keep in mind this ShopRite (of Bristol) HAS THE ONLY official US Postal Kiosk station in Connecticut for the public & closes at 7PM.The 4 Star rating is because parking is VERY tenuous to find a close spot, especially for the physically challenged walkers.

I went to drop off a package at the post office in this location and before I could even ask a question the manager told me that the person working there was on break when that wasn’t even my question. Thank you for being so rude.

The food items seem be be much cheaper than other supermarkets..the Bristol store is constantly updating the store and strive for outstanding customer service ..its great for people that dont want mega lanes that almost require a golf cart because of the size of the store. Its smaller in size compared to a newer supermarket which is great for seniors. its not fancy but practical..clean, organized and for the size of the store..an ample amount to choose from.i did not give shoprite 5 stars as every business has a few issues..not worthy of discussing.

Nice service fair prices

You really take your life into your own hands in the parking lot. The design and landscaping makes for blind corners in a parking lot that is also used as a cut-thru to another road. The store itself is generally well stocked although the produce leave a bit to be desired. The sales are great but the clientele can be a bit much to handle. My most recent experience I have a pleasant interaction with Sam at the courtesy desk. He was very pleasant, an asset to the store. All and all the store gets a very middle of the road rating out of me. Sam though, gets 5 out of 5.

Their hours documented on Google in the Bristol, CT location are incorrect. I went there this past Sunday arriving at their door at 8:56 p.m. and the manager had just looked me out. I told the carriage boy that I had Googled their hours just before driving across town to come here, and he said, they close at 9:00 p.m. Well online here it clearly says 10:00 p.m. Myself and another customer were not too happy that we were not let in for each a few items. Please change your hours online. The pandemic has been going on now for over a year. This is false advertisement, ad quite inconsiderate to not let your customers into shop even before 9 p.m. Also, your hours are documented at your exit door that you are open until 10:00 p.m. Please change them if you are not going to let us in.

Very good nice staffing

Change your hours to 9pm if you close at 9pm . Because like 99% of people I checked Google. Once I left and drove there and had to leave because it was after 9 and you were closing up. The 2nd time im rushing to get shopping done for a family of 6 because you were closing in 25 minutes try shopping with that much time for 6 people. I have been loyal to shoprite for years but this has me very mad and lately its not the only thing . Ill start shopping at stop and shop which is out of my way but open till 10pm .

The employees were nice and they had lots of employees which was great.I couldnt find some items I walked around the store quite a few times looking for things. That was a little frustrating. But the prices were good. I love the convenience of having the post office right in the grocery store it makes it all worth it. And Anna the person that works there she was so nice.

When I was at the store I was so impressed with Diana at the self check out, she went above and beyond to help, so wanted to let it b known. Good customer service does not go unnoticed by me...thank you 🤗

I used to get some of my groceries at PriceChopper outside of the bulk shopping I do at BJs, but now I started shopping at ShopRite in Bristol. We are Pescatarians. Their seafood presentation always looks plentiful and fresh. They keep the fresh case filled and most importantly the seafood looks healthy and fresh. The clerks in this department are very helpful and have knowledge about various types of fish, how to cook them and what to cook them on of in. I like good customer service. Supremely important during this time is that they wear their masks and gloves. I did have to ask the clerk to wear two gloves and he did. I spend almost $75 to almost $100 on fish everytime I go. I prefer their prices over City Fish in Wethersfield. I prefer this ShopRite over the Southington ShopRite. It is much neater and well stocked. We supplement our diet with plant based meat and it can be found. The Southington ShopRites case is usually empty and on too many occasions I had to ask if they had more. They would go in the back to check and return with a full box. They would then give me what I had requested and then stock the rest. I realize it gets busy and you cant always have things in stock but it happens too many times for me to keep going back there. You can also find watercress in the fresh vegetables section at the Bristol ShopRite. Watercress is a good source of vitamins to boost your immune system. I went to three different grocery stores and they did not have it. I asked why there was a difference in the Southington ShopRite and the Bristol store and found out ShopRite in Bristol and Waterbury are owned by the same person/ family. That explains the difference in the organization of both stores. I decided to stick with those two stores. This is probably the longest review Ive done, however; I believe it is necessary. Good customer service, cleanliness, price and organization our reasons I will continue to shop here. One more shout out to the seafood department clerks for being patient with me while I order up half the seafood department. 😁👍🏾👏🏾#vettie_goes

Shop from home is horrible, the girl amy had a very bad attitude. Trash talking other clients i couldn’t believe what i hearing. She really needs to go this isnt my first time in shop from home where this girl has bin running her mouth off about other clients.

Best Seafood selection and counter Ive seen in many years. The produce section is incredible and the whole store is also super clean and the staff is very friendly. I drive almost 20 minutes 1 way just to shop here.

ShopRite has a good selection of seafood, meats, dairy, deli foods, etc. Basically most foods and drinks are covered. Also, it has a few foods from several different ethnic groups but could be a little larger. Prices are also very competitive and coupons including digital ones can save you a few dollars. The store atmosphere is just okay but its not something that would keep me shopping there.

I have noticed that when the other supermarkets are out of something I need, ShopRite will have it. Also excellent prices on meat. Because of this I have started to shop there more.

They have a Caroline’s grocery store cart for disabled children. They’re the only store in town that has it and it really comes in handy when you need it for a disabled child that cannot fit in the top of the basket anymore. Shop rite from home is perfect and customer service is always super friendly.

Although the store has been there a long time, its very clean and they try to keep it updated. This store carries several brands that I cant find elsewhere. The produce, deli, seafood and meats are all very fresh and great selection. Most of the employees are very nice and helpful.

Nice big store with a lot of variety. The prices were very reasonable and seemed lower than the usual place that I stop and shop, if you know what I mean. Lots of yummy things in the deli area and fresh fried chicken to grab and go. Good selection of canning jars and lids. Bakery section was very nice also.

Good selection but they are now pushing everyone to use self checkout. Corporate greed is removing important jobs from the marketplace. Grocery store jobs were taken by high school students for years as a way to earn money. Now they wont be offering these jobs anymore and forcing the consumer to work without any compensation. If you want your customers to scan their own groceries then you should be offering a discount.

Very nice

This store is at a crossroads for me and my family. When we first started shopping here (coming from far out of town), we were very impressed with the way the store operated. It is an old building that has not seen much renovation, yet the food was fresh, plenty of variety, in stock, friendly associates, and great extras like the coffee bar and coupons, especially since we dont get the flyer at our house. In the past year or so, staff has come and gone, the coupons are not available (although they will still scan them for you), the coffee bar was discontinued, and its about time the store is renovated. They are only interested in expanding their shop from home service. They are giving people more reasons to stay away from the store. Im not critical about many things, but it is noticeable after shopping here for 4 years regularly, the managers no longer care for associates or customers. Its all about the bottom line and in the end, that wont help their business. They stood out, but not any more. I still love ShopRite for their selection, prices and quality. Also that its not Stop and Shop, which has taken over too much.

I briefly stopped into the ShopRite located in Bristol, CT to take advantage of the Friendly ice cream size 1.5 quart special for .99 cents, limit 2 on 3/17/18. Also, purchased the 8 piece fried chicken deal for $7.99. The prices are good and the workers are helpful. A good shopping experience.

Clean store, great selection and friendly staff.I save $20-$30 a week here over Stop & Shop.The negatives of this store are the organic selection is horrible compared to stop and shop.The bathroom is all that way in the warehouse and feels creepy back there.The lighting at night is almost worse than a full moon! Updated brighter lighting would be a huge help! And adding more than is already there too.

The bottom line with ALL Shoprites in CT they are non union. I worked in the Deli and met people whom been with the family run stores for 10, 20 even 30 years. Management get paid an affordable but under paid amount, but those who are just the grunts get raises when minimum wage goes up. Most work 2 or 3 jobs. Its very sad. The owners kids and grand kids live a life of no worries on the sweat and stress of underpaid staff. I get kids doing carts or sticking shelves should get minimum wage but people who are loyal and put the years in should be compensated and be able afford life on 1 job.

This is a good store to get fresh veggies and fruit plus a few other items needed since it is a grocery store and thats it. No waiting in line 10 people long because people are buying clothes or a TV. Another thing I like about this store is the cashiers are friendly (perfect example is Sarah) and the fact that they have cashiers (more than 1) in addition to self checkouts. The prices are competitive and if I bring coupons or catch a sale, I can usually find a few really good bargains.

This is the best shop rite yet. Very clean and has a very good meat department. Love it !

Ive been shopping at Shoprite for over 30 years. I was so unhappy with the store this week . Sale items werent available. I only go to the store once or twice a month. I think Ill be looking for a new store that will gave what they advertise

Been shopping here for over 30 years. Very competitive prices, best weekly sales, quality meats, deli & selection of produce. The Bristol store is immaculate and all associates & managers are extremely friendly. Although theres a Price Chopper and Stop & Shop closer to me, Id never shop anywhere other than Shop Rite.

Overall i feel like they have good prices and sales. There produce selection could be better, with a larger selection of items.

They all smell the same. (Smells have a big impact on me.) But, I am learning to appreciate this place. Ive found that the prices here are good. Ive found amazing deals on great quality food and there is plenty to choose from. The coupling I do is accepted and I like the size of the place. Beware the bear...

I get my groceries delivered!For a few months I observed the SR Home Delivery Shoppers select items watching how they picked & handled other peoples food. They were as fussy about the produce, meats & deli as I was.I have been using the delivery service for the last 6 months and I am completely satisfied.If I have a unique request they do their best to achieve it.4 stars ShopRite delivery!

Fresh food, Good prices, Good sales. Use to have better sales coupons not as good as they use to be. Last year Price chopper offered better prices on their can can sale and this summer price chopper beat them on the same week offering better sales.

The shop from home pick up in front is dangerous, and in the wrong place. Having trucks and cars parked on that corner is ridiculous! The self check out area is a zoo! You should be able to line up your bags on the counter, scan your items and put them in...period. just like Price Chopper does. But no...it stops every other item to get cleared by the help. Soooo annoying! Fix those two things!

See my COVID-19 reviews for other stores in the area.First, note that the store hours have temporarily changed. They close at 9pm. I got there around 8:30pm on a Friday (4/24). Everyone entering the store is required to wear a mouth covering. There are wipes near the entrance for wiping down your shopping cart.Everyone that I saw in the store, shoppers and employees,  had their mouths covered. They have directional arrows on the floor. There weren’t many people there at that time since they were near closing time. I only saw one other peron in the aisles who literally went the wrong way in three different aisles for the full length of each aisle.Everyone at checkout used the markings on the floor to keep their six-foot distances from each other. The store had both the regular registers open and the self-checkout. I went straight to self-checkout, so I didn’t notice whether the glass partitions were up at the registers. I think the store’s Facebook page said that they do have them.

The staff here is super helpful and kind. I spoke to one of the managers there, Nick and hes a rock star, hes diligent and patient. My favorite cahsiers are Logan and Zack!! The culture in the Bristol store is by far better than the store closest to my house, but I will drive to Bristol every week because they make me feel welcome

Walked in and walked right now. First of all, this store is very very outdated, awkwardly laid out. And the STENCH of the store was Enough to make someone puke. I was ready to puke from the smell alone never mind how dirty and disgusting the store was in general.

I find that most employees there are very helpful, even when it comes to handicapped people. Its a big and bright store to shop at.

This grocery store is clean, well organized and stocked. Friendly staff help with anything, usually hiring teenagers as most do. I like the variety of cultural items at great prices. Cheaper than most others, and with coupons its even better!

This is a grocery store that maintains that old time family store character. The cashiers remember your name and the food is fresh. The butcher cuts the meat just right, the deli is quick, always enough help on hand, and its a nice warm store. Very comfortable shopping !

This place drives me crazy from start to finish. I cant stand this parking lot layout and the store is older... including the registers. The good side, there is usually a large staff on hand and sales are pretty good.
