Price Chopper is a nice grocery store with all kinds of selection. This is my go-to grocery store and I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the area.

Never have enough cashiers on duty. Have had to do self checkout with a wagon load of groceries. Impossible to return cans and bottles because the return area is always filled with homeless with huge wagonloads. They also allow them to hang out at the tables near the bathrooms. Last time I was there a homeless man was brushing his teeth and garling in the mens room. I only shop there now where absolutely necessary.

Theyre open till midnight I love to go late night grocery shopping when theres nobody in the store theres seafood department is awesome they got lots of choices and the meats good deals and they have a sushi department where else can you get sushi late at night youre not going to find a drive-thru

Friendly staff, easy to find items but if youre looking to check out quickly there will be a wait. Very few lines open

The store is fair to good OTHER THAN THE DELI. If there is anyone there at all, they only ever have one person. They are rude and slow. Most of all, they are poorly managed because the level of consistency of 5-10 person lines is totally unreasonable. I go to many grocery stores in the area frequently, and this deli needs to be gutted and replaced with new management and staff. Reliably unacceptable.

Good place to shop. They have a sushi place in the store that I visit every time I go because its made fresh daily there.

I enjoy coming into price chipper because a lot of the people who work there are very friendly and i am lucky to call them friends... I can say i miss my girl who moved on inside the company congrats you all know who you are ... Ill see you soon im coming shopping 😃😀😃

Price Chopper had everything that I was looking for so that was nice as I hate having to go to 2 stores. They seemed to have the shelves and coolers well stocked. The cashier was very nice and pleasant 😊. Most everyone in the store was following Covid rules and I spoke to a couple of them and they were very friendly. That certainly makes a shopping trip in this current environment easier and more enjoyable. My wife does most of the shopping but when I go, Price Chopper is going to be my store of choice.

Its extremely frustrating when you work 2nd shift and plan all your shopping for the late hours and this store continues to close early unexpectedly at 11pm and not 12pm. Change your Google hours if youre going continuously close early. 3 weeks in a row have i showed up around 11pm and youre telling people to leave because youre closing early. Pick a schedule and stick to it, youre not a restaurant that can choose when the kitchen closes. Pick a schedule, there is no excuse for me being able to shop from 11-12 one week and then not the next week because you all choose to close early for whatever reason. If you wanna close at 11pm, FINE, but please change your Google hours, especially when there are no signs on the doors letting customers know of the change. All your doors say closes at 12pm not 11. Fix this because MANY customers are showing up and walking out.

This price chopper is always clean and organized very well. I love how spacious it is so it doesn’t really get crowded. The employees are always helpful and nice.

I like this store. Easy to get around. Not narrow isles like some other stores. Clean.

Store is nice. Had to call phone number for pick up about 5 times before someone picked up. It kept sending me to an inactivated voicemail.

Open 24 hours.. so if your someone who doesnt like bumping carts, finding a place to park, or waiting in line.. this is a perfect place to grocery shop in the dark😊And the night crew is absolutely pleasant!

You can find pretty much anything you need, even at 9 p.m. (even now in COVID). GREAT meat sale prices, just shop the sales and freeze. Always some paper goods. Great pharmacists (George!!) and pharm techs. Great produce (so so much better than Stop and Shop Bristol). Friendly and helpful staff. Polite shoppers.

Love knowing where everything is. Nicely kept. Great deals and sales. Get a store card and use your points towards gas or as money off your next purchase.

Huge selection of foodstuffs. In store bakery, fresh produce seafood and meats. Less gluten free and vegetarian options in frozen foods than other local stores, but more specialty diet choices in pre-packaged. Strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.

I love shopping at price chopper.! The fruit is always big and juicy. There are always some sort if sales (ex. 2 for 6 and bag of lettuce). With a price chopper card I save up my points and earn money off of gas or off of my order. The prices are usually better than the competitors.

I love coming here and getting $99 box of meat. It feeds my family of 6 for almost 1 month.

I shopped there on January 8th. Not a good event. A woman at the bottle return, no face mask, sniffling. I was trying to get to the disinfectant but couldnt access it because there were 3 people there, 2 without masks. Employee was there. I said to him theres 3 people here with out masks. Do something about them. He shrugged his shoulders and did nothing. Inside the store, people going the wrong way and theres no way to get 6 foot spacing. On top of that, the store has displays in the aisle. A great place to get Covid-19 !!!

Good prices and great store layout. Typical grocery store problems like understaffed registers. Overall my go-to store for food!

I really like Bristol Price Chopper, its always neat and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Produce section isnt the best, alot of the fruits and vegetables are low quality and overpriced for their conditions.

I do my regular shopping at this store and most times with no problems. HOwever. I preordered today 3 steamed lobsters to pick up at 5 for a friend i was having over. When I went to pick them up the seafood counter was closed and empty and no one knew about the order.The manager seemed disinterested in my dilemma. He offered to steam some for me while i waited however he would have to heat up the steamer and then there would be time to steam them. Meanwhile my company would be waiting at my home. There was no concern at all to accommodate me. In this day of Covid where we have to do take out this should be a priority. I was not the only customer wondering why there was no fresh seafood to be had at 5 on a weeknight...

Mostly because of their seltzer varieties and sales there on. Furthermore their seafood department will not only steam the lobsters for you, but they steam fish & you can get a fully steamed meal from them as well.

Full service grocer, has deli, bakery, prepared foods & food court, seafood, butcher, florist, check cashing & bottle returns. Great deals, my fav is being able to use Advantedge points like store credit now, or can still use for gas.

Cleaner than stop and shop, with a wider range of options. Better sushi and vegan / vegetarian options than most other supermarkets. Kind, helpful, and patient employees make the whole shopping experience that much better.

Few items has good deal and some items are over priced as compared with near by market.Staff was friendly at self checkout. Willing to see more of that type of staff.

Grossest bathrooms Ive ever seen

Alot of open floor space whice makes it feel weird. To me the majority of grocery stores have corner to corner food and not space enough to Taekwondo the prices were no different from a regular grocery store. Still not used to the fact that CT charges tax on one of the most important Necessities...... being food.

The only problem I have with Price Choppers is that when they make fresh salads they always put Olives in there salads, not everybody likes Olives. They need to put out some salads without them.

Great supermarket, has a bunch of things. Also not that expensive. I go there every Saturday and get 100-200$ worth of food. Their cashiers are fast working and they keep the shelves stocked.

Price Chopper is great, I just wish they could do something about all the people who park along the fire lane.

The people who work here now are leagues better then they were a year ago, but a few bad apples who shop here and it ruins the experience.

Sometimes the cashiers can be a little bit pokey. Could be the new thing with the bags though.although Ive noticed since they started the thing with the bags Ive had to beg my own groceries a lot more. Would be good if they could find a way to deal with that. I bring my own bags so I dont have to pay for and sometimes it feels like they dont bag my groceries because I dont buy the bags

I absolutely Love this store!! My favorite section is the bakery. Anything that comes out of that bakery is incredibly delicious!! I get my sons birthday cake there every year. And everyone is surprised that it came from Price Chopper! Keep up the good work!

This location was amazing. Everything was neat, now I did go in the morning, so it might change on the afternoon or evening. Assortment of bagels was also amazing. Bakery section, lots to choose from. I went there for one thing and ended up getting 4 more. I would recommend this one to all.

I mean who doesnt like 24 hour shopping?! Turning the corner at midnight and the cooler lights click on is the best!!

See my COVID-19 reviews for other stores in the area.I got there around 9:30pm on a Wednesday (4/22). Everyone entering the store is required to wear a mouth covering. There is a dispenser for wipes near the entrance where the shopping carts are, but it was empty. I had my own spray bottle of alcohol, so I had to use that to disinefect the shopping cart handle.Everyone that I saw in the store, shoppers and employees,  had their mouths covered. They have directional arrows on the floor. There weren’t many people there at that time since they were near closing time. There were a couple of people that went the wrong way down an aisle just for a short distance, but they didn’t come anywhere near another person.At checkout, there are markings on the floor to keep people six feet apart. The regular registers were shut down, and only the self-checkout was open, so I didn’t notice whether the glass partitions were up at the registers.

Ive given Price Chopper another star, because there have been some new cashiers whose demeanor is more friendly, more helpful and thats a good sign, however, you still have to watch their supposed sales and constantly stay alert to make sure when you are rung up that you are getting the sale price. Price Chopper has a very bad habit of putting an item on sale but NOT putting that price into the computer. I cant tell you how many times I had to walk all the way back to PC to get my price adjusted. Its a state law that a consumable item that doesnt get rung up at the advertised price has to be given to the customer FREE!! And since it happens do much at PC, I think that they figure most people just wont bother to come back to the store with the item. Unfortunately I cant afford not to.

Two register open for a lot of people and have to wait to long.

They have a pretty good cafe to eat at. Store is 24 hours which is a plus and they have a candle section near the entrance so you always walk in to a pleasant smell lol

Experience was good, pretty typical of a grocery store. Only issue, there was 1 cashier. In fairness it was also late, but there was still a handful of customers waiting in line.

Store is fine until you check out. Then you notice that they consistently do not have enough cashiers working, especially with express lanes. Sure, there are self check out lanes, but they fill up (which alone says that the store is too dependent on them), leaving you waiting. Waiting, behind slow customers who take forever to scan to their own items, defeating the purpose of them serving as express lanes.

Prices are better than Stop and Shop. A little slow on restocking lately. Love the money off on gas

Used to luv shopping here but lately items are not even priced. If only they sold Hood half gallon milk containers bc price choppers spoil to fast in see through milk containers.

Robin in the Floral department came to the rescue last minute and put together a beautiful flower bouquet for my grandmother last minute. I was out of state and she had it ready within 2 hours!! Thanks again Robin!!
