Called Geis to install a garage door opener in a lower level garage with a low clearance ceiling. Was told by others it was not possible due to the clearance spacing. Geis did a thorough inspection and was able to provide a fairly simple solution. Opener was installed in a matter of hours. Due to their professionalism and willingness to get the job done, we opted to order a new door for our upper garage which turn out great. Will go to them for all of our garage door needs in the future. Top notch group with great communication.

Bob and his team are amazing. I backed into my garage door and it couldnt close. I called right away and they had someone out to fix it within the hour and it was repaired in 20 minutes. Would have been 5 stars till my child had a metal shaving in his foot from the lack of clean up. I went and got a magnet wand and found a lot of metal shavings that were left behind. Extremely disappointed and no sense of urgency to come and clean up even after letting them know that we were lucky i was able to pull the metal shaving from my childs foot.

INCREDIBLE customer service! Hands down, we had the best experience using GEIS, something that you feel extra appreciative for these days. Everyone was extremely helpful and went above and beyond their call of duty--for instance, the same day I called regarding garage doors, they had a representative out here to measure. I mentioned to the tech that I lost my color swatch samples hoping he might have one in his truck. He didnt have the specific one I needed and apologized. Later that day he stopped back and dropped off a set of the swatches after going to the office! Everyone during the (short & fast) process was great to work with.

Today I called with my garage door problem. Mike was able to get my door working better then it ever did before with a new spring and some parts. Will definitely use them for my garage door needs in the future

Lots of problems with this company, Sam the install manager is rude and not helpful. They screwed up our doors and then acted like they did us a favor by fixing the problem they created.

GEIS vs. Precision: 22 years old garage opener. Remote control on-off intermittently worked in past two months. Had a coupon Precision “free service call with repair”, thinking it needs to be replaced, I contacted them. The technician unplugged /replugged the opener, worked temporarily. Advised me the door needs to be replaced (well over $2k); Can’t use coupon because no repair was done; Call back within 90-days if the units won’t open again, will replace it (~$650) and wave service call fee since I paid today. Well, garage door won’t open THE VERY NEXT DAY. Since it was the weekend, I waited until Monday, called them back. However, my total repair cost would have been over $700, ($650+$85 paid on Friday). I contacted GEIS, they only changed me $400 TOTAL! Very quiet unit, includes WIFI keypad outside. The technician is very professional. He told me the door has minor rust at bottom, but still okay. If I ever think about replacing it later, it costs a little over $1k. He even cleaned my garage floor, and hauled away trash (sand/salt/leafs). I will recommend GEIS from now on. Don’t go for coupon.

They installed the door (a heavy one I happened to like) about 12 years ago, they replaced the spring about two years ago (did I say it is a heavy door?), and in the super cold the wood of my old garage let-go of a lag bolt on the center bracket.I was unable to use the garage door opener, it would raise the door, not lower it. I wasnt sure if that was because of the bracket. But I knew I should avoid using the door with the askew bracket.They came out the day after I called, on the coldest day of the year, they fixed the bracket, and diagnosed the problem with my old self-installed garage door opener (bad safety sensor). He offered to install some old ones on his truck for free, but when I installed the opener I used the sensors from the old opener (lazy) and had the new ones in my basement.So I sent him on his way because he was doing this work for free in the super cold. Today I went out and fixed the sensor issue.Everything about this company has impressed me.Theyre good, reasonable people.

Outstanding service and professionalism are worthy every penny.I had a garage door go out on me about a year ago - Geis repairman came promptly, the replacement was completed immediately, and he couldnt have been more friendly and professional. I probably should have posted a review then. In any case, a year later our other door malfunctioned. A different repair man came but the experience was again fantastic. Exemplary service -- friendly and efficient -- and all the while was showing me some basics of maintenance and repair that will be helpful moving forward.I dont post reviews of companies often. Geis deserve it. Absolutely oustanding.

WOW!! Called for an estimate to replace my torquemaster garage door spring. Got a great price ( Other estimates I got were higher). Clare told me they could put the new springs in the next day. Got a call the next day and said they could be there early... Great! Mike the tech looked over the job and told me some parts could be used over and lowered the estimate.GREAT! Mike had the job completed in a little over an hour. The door now runs smooth as silk. Great job everybody.... Ron H.

Geis Door cant even fix an overhead door thats out of the track. Thet need to train there guys on how do do this. The service men that were sent kepped saying Im not the slat roll door guy. We were told by them that they were going to send him the next day. when I called to see when he would be there I was told they could not help me. I would seek another garage door company as this one cant do the Job. You better think Twice before calling Geis>

I called on a Monday and a technician was able to come to my house the next day between 10 and 2. I received a call at 10:30 telling me that he was 20-30 minutes away. The service (fixing a broken garage door spring) was handled quickly and efficiently. He also pointed out how the problem happened and some preventative maintenance tips to make my garage door last longer (which I really appreciated). My technicians name was Kerry. This was a good experience and I would call them again.

I have called on Geis twice. The first time, they prevented me from paying 3 times what I should for the same repair from another repair company. In both instances, their service techs knew what they were doing, and they were polite and professional. They didnt try to sell stuff you didnt need. Im picky cause Im in the service business, and Geis impresses me.

I made an appointment a week ahead of time for an inspection and adjustment. I received a call two days from the appointment stating that they could not make it. Very frustrating since I accepted a time and day that worked for Geis from the start.I went to Geis on multiple occasions in the past with no issues. They have changed, not for the better.

GEIS installed our garage doors about 4 years ago, contracted through our builder. Recently the garage door openers arm snapped off from the door. I’m not an expert by any means but I informed GEIS that the cause appears to be related to the arm not being reinforced with any weight bearing brackets. The arm was simply bolted in with four bolts directly on to garage panel. The weight of the garage door relative to the surface area of the bolted arm (~3”x3”) did not look right and was due to buckle. Sent pics of the two door garage door with the arm snapped off, as well as pic of one door car garage where it was starting to pop out. GEIS informed me that they would have to charge me a $95 service fee for someone just to come down and check. Patti was super nice in hearing me out, but would not waive the $95 service visit. As a result I watched a video on YouTube bought reinforcements brackets from amazon and fixed my self. Disappointed by the quality of the install and the inconvenience to me regarding an upfront service charge to have someone come out just to look at it, when the pictures clearly shows the motor arm was not installed properly.

These guys are awesome! I went in only with pics of the problem with my door, and came out knowing exactly what I needed to do. Greg and his coworker went over everything I needed and supplied instructions on how to fix my door. Definitely recommend Geis

Great company! We have had them to our house a few times. Over the weekend both springs broke on our garage door and thankfully we were able to schedule for Monday. Jason came out to fix our broken garage door and he called before his arrival to let us know he was on his way. He also searched our garage for the screws to make sure they didnt damage our tires! Above and beyond if you ask me. Dont hesitate to use this company. They are wonderful.

Couldnt ask for better service - everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgable and concerned with making our repair right. I called on a Thursday night after our door mechanism was crushed by one of our cars. Someone answered the call (at 7:00pm!) and assured me they would call the next morning at 7:00 to set up an appointment. Friday morning at 7:00 they called and had a service person at my house by 8:00am. He took care of the repair quickly and accurately, asked if I had any questions and gave me a tip on how to fix another part of the weather stripping so that I could complete it. I highly recommend Geis for your garage door repairs.

A couple of years ago was considering a new garage door, and putting it in myself. Called Geis, and the price was close enough to the DYI door, that I just had them install it, as well as haul away the old door, so I did not have to. Job was done in about an hour and a half, and while I could have done it myself, not doing it every day meant that it would have taken me considerably longer. Fast forward two years, a family member who shall remain nameless, backed into the still-opening garage door. They were out in 2 days to replace the damaged section. Thanks Geis!
