Today was customer appreciation day so everything was 25% off. I didnt get there until 4pm. Ive never seen the walls so bare of goods. But there were still lots of items on all the shelves. They have remodeled and there was only 1 cashier open as all the rest is now self checkout which I do NOT like. The cashier was friendly & efficient. Their prices are definitely higher than before. Several other customers agreed with me. I would not have bought as much if the items were not on sale. I can go to the dollar store & get the item brand new for the same price.

Got the cleanest bathroom I ever been to. Prices are reasonable although they should chill out with pricing their shoes sometimes. Staff is cool. Bums outside the parking lot be asking for change. Carts wheels be jamming on me. And they have the cleanest toilet seat I ever sat on.

I went again yesterday to make a large donation of miscellaneous items. I’m 72yrs old and obviously handicapped as I use a cane. The woman at the outside bins stood there watching me struggle and did nothing but look at her phone. I had one heavier box of dishes so I informed her I would need help with it. My crippled granddaughter was in the car so the woman actually said for me to get her to help me. I was livid and never again will I donate or shop at Value Village. I’ve had problems before getting stuff out of my car while they stand there but yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back. I will put items out for trash before I donate there again.

A huge store with a nice selection. My husband and I both got some good stuff from here. Also, the customer service was great. All and all a good experience, minus the how much the prices have gone up on thrifted good! I know I can’t be the only one whose noticed.

Recently moved to the area and I love visiting here! Such a large variety of things thats constantly changing and the staff are so kind. Also a fantastic place to donate things and all for a good cause!

I am here all time donating my own stuff and my hoarder of a grandfathers stuff. Drop out in the bin and they give me a coupon. Cute home decor stuff, a cute taper candle holder and bird dishes to hold coins. A good place to find witchy stuff and if you are into cottage core. A good selection of books.

I love this particular store. I always find craft items and lots I can repurpose. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is one gem and ORGANIZED store. The prices on most items are however, inconsistent. Some items are very reasonable, some quite outlandish for 2nd hand.. Guess it all depends on who is at the helm of that day setting the prices. Clerks and staff are always pleasant. Never the same place 2 days in a row. Stopping in here can become an addiction!

Oh my I totally love going there, they take every precaution to keep the public safe. We have to such good fun there.

I was very happy with the large selection of various items at so late in the evening. My 1st time at this location and it happen.to be the 25% off day. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff will follow you around ...as if your stealing & the prices are out of control...they routinely want 40$ & 50$ for old dirty shoes that they dont end up selling......you might get lucky every now and then thou.They selling fake shoes for 50 a piece ...watch out

I love going to value village when I can get the chance I was there just maybe last month I can buy my towels and my wash clothes and many other things dresses I brought me a coke there its one of those clothes that you spend a lot of money on but I didnt spend a lot of money on this coat any fit me I have more a lot of room in it so I enjoy going to value village its a great place to go to has a lot of different things different items in there that you can purchase so I really love going there I will be going there a whole lot now so check stop by check it out you might feel the same way I do I dont see why you wouldnt I enjoy I love the place and the people that work there they are nice too.

I went to value village this evening and the store was about to close and there was one of the supervisors or managers named tamiko her customer service was absolutely terrible it was so terrible that they lost me as a customer I had a young lady to ring up my items and I had a discount offer and I wanted to receive both but due to the store about to close or was closed while I was there shopping the manager became my rate with me and said Im really irritated that I have to wait on you and re-ring these items when the stores close I said really I said thats a good customer service you always put the customer first I understand its Friday and you and your crew want to go home but you should always be kind to your customers so as I begin to tell her she should set the proper example for three young ladies that were under the age of 20 that was no way to show them or set the example and think that they can talk to it customer and a derogatory manner she was so nasty in her disposition that I said Im going to contact corporate because you should not be in that position in that job I dont care what you do she said to me I said really you can call who you want matter of fact what she said Ill give you my name and the number so she was so bad in a disposition that the young lady started to be support to her and I told him dont do that shes not set in a proper example and dont get involved because it had nothing to do with them she told me I could talk and say whatever I want so I left the store I was very very dissatisfied the worst experience I have ever had Ive been in customer service over 38 years and would never ever talk to a customer that way I give that place tons of donations tons of donations I just donated 10 bags of shoes to them the day before yesterday and this is the treatment I received so would I recommend somebody to go there no I would not that location is in Brooklyn Park Maryland Glen Burnie Ritchie highway I would never recommend anybody to go there again or to even donate to them

I never knew this place was here. My very first visit. A guy was at the door wiping down the shopping carts. I noticed each book had a price sticker. The prices were very high on the books. Back by the luggage---looked like the floor and area hadnt been cleaned in some time. Perhaps it needs paint? The clothes were marked well so you could find your size. I noticed a pillar in the center of the floor--the bottom had a large hole--rusted?. Things like that should be fixed. You have to know what things are worth. I saw a mans winter jacket that was priced at $50; was worth $25. Some things were overpriced. When I went to check-out I mentioned this was my first time in this store etc. I asked about Savers Club. Was signed up at the register. Wasnt given the option or asked if I wanted a. bag. None was provided which I have never experienced before. Strange?. When I was leaving pushing the cart the guy at the entrance said the cart couldnt leave the store. I had a medium size electric cooker I had to carry with one arm since I was using a cane with my left hand. I have never experienced anything like this before. He should have offered to walk out and bring the cart back. Very unconsiderate!! What do they expect customers to do. I said to him are you suppose to bring your own bag? He said you can or we sell them. I was never asked.? Things are more difficult when you have a handicap and have trouble walking. The cashiers are not properly trained and the guy at the door doesnt know how to treat customers---again not properly trained. Its probably the managers inexperience. Not a friendly experience. The store is not as nice as Goodwill.

Seniors day Tuesday. Bought 19 ticketed items $104. Only charged $71 after discounts. A couple items were brand new.

As always I get a nice sincere welcome to the store when I enter the store and even if I dont find what Im looking for, anytime spent in the store is a pleasant one.

I love shopping here. But, Whoever decides how to price things, absolutely, DOES NOT know what they are doing.For instance, Say that they charge maybe $6.00 for T-shirts. Not so bad if its brand new. (Still too high) But if the T-shirts are old and faded (?) No way. They should be like $3.00 max.Then consider houseware items, whoever prices them, does not have a clue about pricing.Ive been shopping thrift stores, Salvation Army, Goodwill and yard sales for at least 30 years.I would have Value Village packed and jammed with customers, every single day. No question in my mind.Peace 💙💦🐦

This is a great place to find used items from books and holiday decorations to toys and clothes for the entire family! I go there often for my young daughter and get books for a fraction of what I would pay if they were new and they even get cheaper on special days! They take every kind of donations and unlike some consignment shops they dont resell everything for a huge profit. I definitely recommend going here to anyone who wants to save a few dollars and get decent stuff!

I really enjoy this place! However, half the prices are great and half are astronomically high. For example a bracelet that retails new for $6 on display for $13 in their jewelry cabinet. The staff may be rushing to get prices on things due to high donation volume and overlooking these things. But anyway, the TL;DR is with some careful sifting you can certainly find some treasures!

Anything of value is taken to other store or bought by employees..its like going to a. Flea market at the end of the day..

Ive only ever bought clothes, belts and bags here. The selection is amazing! I see other reviews where people talk about the store being overpriced - theres a trick to this. Just donate something and you get 20% off! Additionally, holidays are 30% off the entire store, I believe and Thursdays are 25% off or something. Theres also a senior discount on another day. I think they price things so that they can have these sales and offer 20% off for those who donate. I think they expect people to do so. I love this store. I havent found anything designer, but I love that Im able to switch out my wardrobe without spending a lot. I will say the floors are dirty, but I guess I dont expect my thrift stores to be clean?! :-P

Prices too high for thrift, especially clothes. Saw a tshirt for 6.49, polo style 6.99, button up 7 99-10.99. TOO MUCH! Maybe you have to go on special days for value. I doubt Ill go back.
