Out of all the Giants I been to. This one is king of giants.. Really nice layout and selection of all sorts of food items. I was impressed.

It was great 👍. Loved it. So clean and it has variety of stuff that I couldnt get from other stores but here i got everything I wanted. Keep it up!

The store is always clean and staff always helpful. Ive been ordering online and go for store pick up. The girls that bring out the groceries are awesome!! They always answer my questions and resolve any issues quickly.

One word to describe this place is HUGE! More selection, more check out lanes. The beer layout is impressive. Also a coffee bar and eat in dining section with tables and chairs. Cold food, hot food, sandwiches...there was a lot offered. We went around 7pm (opening day) and it was still crazy busy. Will return in the morning to do a more thorough walk through.

I shop at Giant twice a week. For over ten years. The boars head turkey at the deli is bad from time to time. The food gives me diarrhea. The turkey has a chemical smell or bad smell. I would give them another chance all the time. The turkey would be good and then it’s bad again. I’m switching to acme. I see expired food there all the time. It would be nice to shop without smelling the food or checking the exp. date to see if it’s bad.

The people there are always willing to help

I have ordered curbside pickup about six times in the last three months. In every order I request toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, Wipes, etc. I even put different toilet papers and different paper towels in my cart figuring theyll have at least one of them.Not once have I ever gotten one of those items. Tell me giant has no toilet paper... ever? Unbelievable!

Overall good store to do your grocery shopping. My only negative experience was with the young gentlemen who work seafood section. They are never pleasant to deal with, not welcoming at all. It’s like I’m bothering them when I buy something. One night I get there at 7:05 on the dot and their first response was we’re closed. Luckily I was able to persuade them to sell me seafood but he made me stand there and wait a good ten minutes. All he had to do was weight it and put it in the bag. In my younger days when I worked at a grocery store customers were treated as first priority. On a positive note, I was happy with the product.

After all very nice store. The only improvement you can maybe make is to hire more workers because sometimes there is not enough workers and the service can be a bit slow. But after all nice job!

Checked out Broomalls new Giant and so happy to have nice new store a mile from us! The new store is bright with many options, they definitely took some cues from popularity of stores like Wegmans.There are pre made food options (wings, rotisserie options, etc), and the produce is fresh. Theres even a pick your cherry tomato 🍅 bar! Following trends in PA, theres a very generous beer and wine selection, but you have to check out separately for that (Wegmans does have some lanes that do food and alcohol). They also have small selection of pre marinated meats & butcher counter.Just like any other store, prices for some items are great, others are a little high. The salad bar doesnt impress, and they dont have the large selection of ready to cook meals (family size) like Wegmans does. Im thrilled though with the offerings and plan to visit a few times a month and limit my Wegmans Malvern trip to once a month. Thanks to Giant for improving on available options in Marple!Tip: If youre getting lunch meat, download the app and order ahead!

Giant is, with very few exceptions, the only supermarket that Ill ever shop at. My late mother used to drive me insane with her demands. Shed look through all of the circulars and determine what store she wanted that day. Then shed usually do the same thing the next day and the next and the next. Id say most weeks, I was doing at least three supermarket runs a week and some weeks, I was doing grocery shopping five or even six days a week. Thats not including having to stop at CVS for her and my younger brothers prescriptions, going to True Value for, say, screws and going to Staples for envelopes or folders. And that definitely doesnt include the things that I needed to get for myself. All of this adds up to the fact that I have absolutely no use for having to go four or five different supermarkets because Store A has, for example, Dannon yogurts 20/$10 Stouffers dinners 4/$10 but Store B has a bunch of other stuff that she wanted.Giant has prices that are fair enough. They may not be the lowest, but Im fairly satisfied with them and I love getting and using the gas points.

Giant - Bromall, salad bar is back (limited). Well stocked and back to Pre-Covid standards.

Good clean store but a lot of the specialty departments are quite small and it doesnt always have what I need in stock or even sold there.

Newer large, clean store; good product selection.

Almost everytime I go I have to go to Customer Service to correct overcharges.Giant raises the prices, then puts the item on sale (So you dont notice the increase...?).They have a good selection. The staff is good. The parking is good. The prices are not consistent.

First off, I love this store ( for the most part...more later). Produce is fresh, varied and well-priced. The rest of the store is clean and offers a huge selection of items. I truly enjoy buying my groceries there. BUT... theres always a but, isnt there. I really like your self-serve kombucha bar and am glad its up working, post-pandemically. My difficulty lies when I refill MY growler (64 oz), it costs $12.99. If I refill 2 growlets (32 oz.,each, or 64 oz., Total, it costs $11.98). Same volume, but, about a dollar less (8 percent less). EVERY time (approx. eight times, so far). I ask the counter-person to charge me for 2 growlets, a total of 64 oz., when I refill MY growler, also, a total of 64 oz. EVERY time I have to go through 10 minutes of explanation. No one seems to be able to comprehend what Im talking about. I always leave feeling angry about the transaction.Im not trying to steal, or pull a fast one on the store, Ive already said I really like your store. At the same token, I dont feel like giving you extra dough, when a simple, equitable solution is available. I guess nothing is perfect.

99% of the time Giant has what you need, if not, its because they sold out.

I have been a Giant food store customer for years and I am pleased with the service, the food and the prices.. I have always purchased olives from the olive bar and with the current economy I have had to use SNAP food benefits. The Broomall store makes me pay cash for the olive bar. This is not a cooked item. This would actually be part of the deli department. I have been forced to pay cash on two occasions at the Broomall store, but not at the Havertown store. I am not sure what the difference is except location. I asked the manager at the Broomall store and her answer was, thats how it comes up. I know something isnt right. I have called the 888 number and they are informing the district manager as well as the manager. I will wait to see what happens but when I go back to Giant in Broomall and I have to pay cash for the olive bar again, I will contact the department of Agriculture.

I have done the Giant Direct pickup here multiple times. This store has a huge selection and usually most items in my order are in stock! The produce that I receive is always in great shape. Sometimes, mistakes happen with my order and when that is the case customer service is always fast to fix any issues.

Usually a good place to shop but I went there today and I noticed a mistake on my receipt. I was overcharged almost $16 and the customer service lady was very rude and she slammed my money on the counter and walked away.

Wonderful well kept store, I personally like this store much better then the Havertown one. Only down side is no gas station though.

We go shopping here on Sundays. Its not yet well known so its less busy than other near by locations

It is a brand new store with lots of variety. I was disappointed that I could not find the item that I was looking for and the layout of the store can lead to frustration while shopping. However, the staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Feb. 22 @ 2:15pm. Not 1 staffed checkout line was open! Not 1 light on at any of the lanes! We were told to use the self check out. Great customer service yall....

I used to love Giant, but everything feels really picked over anymore no matter when I go. The prices arent nearly as competitive as they used to be and their selection just feels tired.I only go there out of habit at this point, but its a habit I plan on breaking.

The worst deli department that Ive ever been to in my entire life. The people in front of the counter were ignored by the Deli Associates who laughed and joked with each other the whole time. I will never ever go back to the store

I made a late night run to the Broomall GIANT FOODS. It was 15 minutes to closing, but I only needed a small # of items. I completed my shopping and proceeded to check out. NO cashiers. Only self check out registers. I explained, to several employees, that I had never used self check out before and didnt know how. Rebecca, one of the employees, offered to help me and I was done in two minutes and out of the store before closing. Thank you, Rebecca. I appreciate your accommodating me.Ill try to learn to self check out myself, as all of the GIANT FOODS in the area, seem to be moving towards eliminating human cashiers.

Wow! Totally impressive! My first time through the doors this morning. Great produce section to greet you. Bought some blueberries and blackberries on a 1+1 combo deal. Huge fat sweet blues! Blacks that were actually sweet! Tell me how many times that happens...at any time of the year! Ill be swinging by this store a few times a week and post new finds.

O.k. Let me just start off by saying I have been going to giant for a long time and I was really hesitant when I found out they were moving it from the shopping center closest to my house. As soon as I went into the new location I was surprised how big it was and how much they have added compared to the old broomall giant store. With that said this store has become my favorite grocery store, even though sometimes the prices are a bit higher then everyone else’s they make up for it in cleanliness, nice and supportive customer service and the ease of finding things. I still can not get over how big the place is. I do my shopping usually once every two weeks but sometimes I find myself making extra trips to the broomall giant just because of my new found convince since it is on my way home from work. I will continue shopping there and stay a loyal giant shopper for years to come

Customer service is horrible( besides the cashier who was very nice) the employees here are pretty much rude and make you feel like youre bothering them when asked a question. The only thing worse then their employees is the cliental . Very snooty and even trump the rudeness of the employees. Yeah.. going back. 🤔No thank you 😶

Fantastic BIG store. Well stocked and amazing varieties of products. Like Wegmans with better prices and bargains. Giant has lowest prices for milk, special buy prices on fliers and shelves, plus online digital coupons. This store has friendly employees everywhere stocking shelves, answering questions, and giving directions. Plenty store brand diet ginger ale (other Giants have had none for weeks). Plenty toilet paper in stock.18 varieties and sizes of mushrooms! 9 flavors of Wonderful pistachios. I haven’t seen corn nuts for years, and here they are. Utz hard pretzels not available elsewhere. Plenty shelf space for soups (other stores have limited availability - frustrating when theyre on sale). It’s worth the drive. J Landauer must be commenting on a different store. This one just opened in 12/19 and I saw plenty anti-COVID precautions including free masks.

Good supermarket, fresh made food, easy shopping.

Great new location. Excellent array of fresh foods. Their cooked foods are also very good & reasonably priced. All the staff are helpful and professional. I highly recommend this market.

Prepared hot food is disappointing, no cooked rice, it seems the Asian bar food has been sitting under the lamps for a while and it’s only 12:43, utensils were only available by the salad bar, there is no fountain drinks. But they do have a very nice selection of sushi. The rest of the store is beautiful and it nice upgrade from the last location, but I will not be buying their hot food again.

Expired food is a big problem at the Giant in Broomall. Today found bacon that was over a month past expiration. I told an employee and they looked at me like I had two heads

Made to order sandwich section at lunch time had an issue. Very sweet people but Im new and not sure where the cheese is followed by I m normally in the deli section from the second person. Shouldnt there be at least one person behind the counter to train the new people?

Disappointed. I know this Giant, have used it for years, in the beginning of the pandemic they were on point, arrows, sanitizing, social distancing. Now when numbers are spiking? Young girl on her phone, no cleaning registers in between ppl, no social distancing, lots of employee improperly wearing masks! They are a Petrie dish!

Organized and very clean. This giant supermarket offers the best deli, meat and even vegan options at an affordable price.

Giant used to be most honest place but in last year, I have to watch carefully the receipt and once even spent an hour before the manager realized they owed me $20. Now, I resolve the problems before I pay. Be especially wary of their food rewards program - check before you pay or spend a much longer time getting your cash back. My wife goes an extra 7 minutes to ACME and she used to only shop at Giant.

I don’t usually shop at giant because I feel like it can be very overrated. Buuuut thank god for this Giant. The la fitness next door has a football turf in the middle of their new state of the art Gym, but no smoothie vendor. So after my work out, I get a protein smoothie from giant. They are delicious. They also have wine. Surprisingly, they have A lot of local brands. I’ll be back

I like Giant in general, however the New storeocatiin in Broomall,Pa. Is wonderful. The parking lot can be packed full of car. And yet you do not feel crowded in the store

Broomall store has lots of space and not that many customers AND all customers were wearing masks appropriately! Good selection of food. Even found hand sanitizer.

Besides being new it also had a kitchen area for hot and cold food. However they had no alcohol as they are in Marple Township a dry Township. All in all I liked it, shelves were well stocked and it wasnt to crowded

Got some pork roll here then was stopped by TSA for it. So you know its the good stuff.

I really like this place. Its always clean, fresh veg and fruits, and the staff is willingly to help. Hope they have more Toilet Paper products in store, they are out for weeks now.

This store is NOT PEDESTRIAN-FRIENDLY. There is NO SAFE PATH to walk from the bus stop on West Chester Pike to the store. How could they show such unconcern for customers? Who approved these plans? I will not shop here often since I dont drive.

This smaller store has employees who are very nice and friendly. And seems to keep the shelves stocked.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thanks to all the employees working under these conditions, and a special shout out to the two women who were helping manage checkout this morning! One told me that some customers have yelled at her, and I simply dont get it. These folks on the front line are taking risks as much as anyone else who is still going to work and risking coming into contact with someone who may have the virus, but not know it. You are a lifeline for us and we thank you!!
