Extremely kind staff with an amazing selection of fun sodas, Italian gelato, candy, and ice cream. The small hometown feel is excellent and the Italian gelato I got was amazing! This is a perfect place to bring a family to grab an iced treat or fun candy/soda and make memories. Parking is to the side of the building and there are benches outside to sit on. I can’t wait to be back soon! Pro tip: smaller cars are easier to bring here because the lot is a bit tight.
Incredible service! The people are so nice and really care about their customers. The gelato and ice cream is outstanding. Couldn’t recommended it more
I ordered a chocolate hazelnut gelato. Not only was it delicious, but the customer service was great. An employee saw that my dad was on crutches and offered to come outside to take our order. They have benches set up so customers can eat outside. I would rather come here instead of a chain ice cream place any day. What a great spot, and an overall pleasing experience.
What a fun place! Lots of ice cream and yummy gelato to choose from. Cool retro candy, bizarre amazing cotton candy flavors, the immense soda wall with rare and unusual flavors, fun unicorn pens, lots of cute kids toys, and macarons. Must try!
What a gem of a place so close to home. While they do not make their own gelato, they import from Italy and its delicious. The prices are reasonable and they also seek a variety of candy, soda pop, macarons, and cotton candy.I ordered the affogato, any choice of gelato with espresso poured over. So delicious!! Everyone in my family had a different flavor of gelato.Sicilian pistachioRum raisinChocolateTiramisuSalted Caramelwere definitely coming back!
This is one of those shops that really benefits the community. It is family owned, friendly and the gelato is the best in the area.First, some people have noted the high price. The real question is if the price matches the quality and I say yes. Also, there are some other high end gelatos for sale locally that go for the same or more. I recall the Florida based Stefano Versace--no longer in the Delaware Valley-- which had excellent gelato and sky high prices, much higher than Sweet Spot. If the price is too high for your budget, that is your personal business and I wont question you, but given the quality, it isnt over priced.Second, I tried the gelato--straciatella and banana- as well as two of the cupcakes. They were both as good as it gets anywhere. I have had gelato that was like ice milk, I have had freezer burned gelato, weakly flavored gelato and then I had Sweet Spot which was perfect. And the cupcakes were close to as good as I get at my favorite bakery, only less expensive. The people who run the store are friendly, which in an age where I cant get a cashier to look me in the eye and say Hello or to give a simple Thank You, the attitude at Sweet Spot is much appreciated.A business worthy of your support.
The kids loved it. Awesome place!!!
Such a cute store! Great Gelato and Ice Cream! Nice place to take your kids! Outdoor seating
So cute and clean! Lots of different flavors of ice cream, candies, popcorns and sodas.. friendly staff.
We love this new place in Broomall and stop there once a week. Everything is delicious and staff is very friendly. Their candy selection reminds me of the old Jeans in Broomall.
Great place to get some nice snacks. The ice cream is awesome. Selection is amazing. The owner is friendly and the kids working there are polite and great to deal with. I hit them up at least twice a week.
Lots of delicious treats! Highly recommend!
Outstanding gelato
Good over cream, really fast service and doppler friendly staff... So many exotic sodas I cant wait to try
Great place to get old time candy and really good ice cream. The kids love it there!
Great ice cream, service and other sweets
This place has just opened less than a month ago (May 2019). Delicious gelato from Italy. The prices were reasonable. The staff were nice. The shop also has a variety of bottled soda pop, candy, and some other summery things. It was a nice place to stop with kids. One small suggestion is to paint the edge of the sidewalk just outside the door or maybe put a handrail there to reduce the chances of someone falling.
Cute shop with lots of goodies inside. The gelatto isnt heavy or too creamy, its just right and quite delicious!! Very nice staff. Im happy to see another great locally owned independent business in town. Ill definitely be heading back with the family!
Huge assortment and friendly staff, kids were happy so I was happy.
I wanted one of everything in the store but I settled on the dairy-free mint choc chip. Wow! So good! Cant wait to go back for seonds.
Ive been here a couple of times with my kids. The gelato is good, however like at least 1 other reviewer mentioned, its more like traditional ice cream in texture and flavor. Prices are steep in general and particularly for the area, which a lot of people have expressed when talking about the place Ordered a 2 scoop serving, including 1 that was a special flavor (vanilla with yellow food coloring) and it cost $7.95 - pretty ambitious pricing for Delco. The people who work there are very nice/friendly.
Kept driving by and finally decided to stop. Lots of nifty unique candy items.
Nice store.fun stuff to buy. Alot different sodas. Gelato really good. One scoop. Pricey
Gelato was delicious; owner was proud of his store (told me the gelato is made in and shipped from Italy); sprinkles and candy assortment was beautiful and my kid said it was the best place in the world!
Everything was great and the gelato was awesome. Also, the cotton candy was very good.
Best place to satisfy a craving for the sweet tooth. I love it!!!
They said they opened at 5 wasted 2 hours thanks
Ice cream pretty good, doughnut pretty bad
Jack Hagerty should get a giant raise. He greeted me and my family with extreme kindness.
Very nice. Def. check it out.
By far the best authentic Italian gelato this side of the Atlantic!!!!!
Love the place
