Super bummed with this location. Ive been a loyal BB client for 7 years. Ive been getting a balayage at my home BB every six months. I just moved here from KC and was SO happy to have a location here in Denver to go to for my normal service. My experience, however, was super disappointing. I got a botched balayage and didnt notice until my hair started to grow that the stylist didnt blend it well enough (so 4 weeks later). The whole reason I got the balayage was so growth wouldnt mean Id have to go get it redone. My balayage looked more like bad, chunky highlights by the time my hair grew. But the appointment was expensive, so I called and asked what could be done. Whoever I spoke to told me that nothing could be done, and Id have to pay full price for a service to fix it since it had been a month since the original service. I get there are policies in place, but I paid a lot of money for a service I didnt receive (balayage is more expensive than highlights). I wasnt offered a discount, redo, or even an apology.They suggested I make another appointment to get it fixed, and to be sure to bring photos this time. It was very insulting that not only were they not going to work with me to fix it, they insinuated that it looked the way it did because I didnt clearly communicate what I wanted with my stylist. With it being approximately my 15th balayage, Im certain I know what pictures to show and how to explain what I want.I originally took the new appointment, but decided to cancel it. I dont want to risk another $150 on a bad color job.Unfortunately, I wont be going back BB, unless I can get in to see my girl back in KC sometime. This isnt how good companies handle loyal customers.

I came in for a great deal on makeup, met a stylist and have been going to see her since. Always on time (Im pretty picky) never a complaint with cut and color. Mandy is the best.. Prices are fair unless youre like me and always buy hempz lotion every time you see a new scent.My only complaint is that the cell service is terrible and never been able to get the wifi to work so I just read while waiting for color.

This place is similar to Ulta, so loads of retail options for purchase like perfumes, lotions, hair care products and make up items. In the back in a salon where you can get pampered while get your hair cut, a wax, highlights, or your hair dyed. Ive only been here once but I did follow my hairdresser here so I know they hire great stylists.

If I could give this place 0 Stars I would. I have extremely thick and curly hair and have gone here for a haircut twice. The Stylist do not listen to me as if I have not lived with my hair my entire life so I ended up having to get my hair fixed somewhere else. The staff is also rude and stuck up and have ignore me at the register and the salon counter, not one person acknowledged me or said anything to the effect of I will be with you in a moment if they were busy doing something else, just general courtesy in customer service. I will never go back for a salon service and I will buy my products online. The only thing they have going for them is good prices during their sales. Do better.

Horrible 😢😢 cut 7.4 inches off my hair, asked for platinum blonde an purple touch up, and a A-frame haircut,razor cut face frame......I got lavender and gold brassy highlights and extremely uneven face frame by 1.2 inches on 1 side. Then a eyebrow wax ohhhh my ... im lucky she didnt attack my brows and at least I still have them, but had to go elsewhere to get them fixed.So its sad to post bad reviews but knowing first had for my personal reviews on my business, its really a shame that this has happened.I will follow up with the business site to figure things out for myself. Please beware of emotional stress if you choose to go to their salon.🙏

My mom got her eyebrows tinted here and they were pitch black (she’s blonde) I called and contacted corporate for a refund and they were completely unresponsive… they kept saying they would get back to me and never did, no refund issued! I’ve been getting my hair cut here for a while and trust me am never going back lol. The brows were horrific - I don’t know how the manager saw them and didn’t say anything. Such a disappointment

URGENT: 2nd post So had my hair done here and if you can see my first post you will see that it did not turn out well. So I come to work today and this is what I have been hearing What did you do to your hair What happened to your hair. See Pics and you will understand more. The gray was NOT covered and when I stated that thats not they way my other lady does it the comment was we all work different Management needs to refund me. I am willing to pay for the product but not the work done. They did offer to fix it but I know my hair and it will not take two process like this. Besides if you took your vehicle to a tire shop and you paid for good tires and they put on bad ones WOULD YOU GO BACK?

Everyone was very kind and friendly. We were there for 2 kids haircuts and a little shopping as well. Their haircuts were awesome!

I usually have a great experience with Autumn. She wad booked and I needed a haircut bad so they made an appointment with some other girl. I arrived 10 minutes early. My appointment was at 6:30 and its 6:55. Needs to be better with time. Very disappointed

Always nice! And generally know what theyre talking about in regards to products. But great sales, customer appreciation program and a nice variety of cosmetics and skin care. Once had a haircut that was bad, but that was years ago.

Beauty Brands has very quality items. I am extremely excited and happy with my Hair Dresser, Nancy. She gives me the best razor haircuts Ive ever had.

Haylie did an amazing job on my hair. I had been trying to achieve the same hair style and color for about 6 years, going to several different salons asking for the same thing and never getting the results I had hoped for. I came to Beauty Brands as my mother had suggested to try, with very low expectations as I had been so disappointed so many times before. I showed Haylie a picture of what I wanted, she advised me that I was booked for highlights but what I was asking for was closer to balayage. I really appreciate that she was honest with me and explained to me what I needed. I could not have been happier with the results. I struggled a lot with my hair over the years and Haylie finally helped me have the confidence I had been so desperate for. I have an appointment with her again today to add more blonde that I have been waiting months for due to Covid.

They helped me out with everything . I wont buy my hair products anywhere else bur BEAUTY BRANDS! The service and information is the best .Plus they have sales all the time .

There is a salon located inside. I have curly hair and was specifically looking to have it styled and flat ironed. I opted to get a haircut as well, but was primarily there for a style. After they said the could do it I waited 1 hour in direct view of the stylist. She finally came over and said she was sorry no one told her she had a client. After she finished washing and cutting my hair she handed me back my hair tie and told me she had another appointment scheduled soon and did not have time to blow dry or style my hair. I went in for a style and left with soaking wet hair after waiting an hour. I was offered a slight discount on the haircut and still had to leave with wet hair.

I had a really great service with Nialiy, probably spelled her name wrong but I will definitely go back.

Showed up for my appointment, found out Mandy didnt have a babysitter so my appointment was canceled without me knowing. I was in the salon watching everyone else have no problems getting in. I happened to randomly choose the one girl who doesnt show up and I get screwed over! Wouldnt you think the salon would have found another hairdresser for me? Maybe offer another appointment time the same day? Im on a tight schedule as I am due in the next couple days. I wanted a fresh cut and color for one of the most important days of my life. I do not want to chance any later appointments as I do not want to go into labor at a hair salon. Thanks so much for the awful memory I will now have about my hair Mandy!

Good products and very professional stylists. CZR has been cutting my hair for a while, and he always does a fantastic job. Im not as knowledgeable about their hair salon, but Ive heard its fairly good. The products are a little overpriced, and I personally prefer Sally Beauty because it tends to be cheaper and have the products I want. Not a bad place though

Such friendly staff and wonderful service. If you are in need of a hairdresser I can not give enough praise to Nancy! I called last minute and was told when scheduling there was only enough time for a cut and I would have to come back for a color. With out hesitation Nancy stayed late to cut and color my hair! I am so happy with the result! But what really stood out to me was the customer service Nancy provided! Can’t recommend Nancy enough!

Awesome place!

The stylist didnt listen to what I asked for. They tried to fix it by adding toner to give me my original color. They eventually refunded me for the toner. So now I have my original hair color for only $140. What a deal! I will never go back.

I called to see if they could get me in last minute for a cut and color. They were very friendly over the phone and were able to get me in same day. Haylee was my stylist and she did an AMAZING job! She was very thorough in asking me a lot of questions about exactly how I wanted my hair and she exceeded my expectations. I’ll be back! Thank you Haylee!!

I went in for skincare and left also with makeup. BRETT was super sweet to me. I was shown different makeup options. She told me about tips and tricks since I am a beginner and not much experience with make up. She was gracious to give me a make over asking me different questions. It was therapy for me. I appreciate her taking the time out of her day to make mine better.

I get my eyelash extensions done by Katie and have done so for years. She is absolutely amazing and every time my girlfriends come into town, they ask about her availability. After having gone to other places around the country for eyelash extensions, they always tell me no one compares and her eyelashes last twice as long and look completely natural. I would recommend her services to anyone!

This particular Beauty Brands has changed for the better in the past year. Better merchandising, better location of products and better customer service. However, I still find many associates who are not knowledgeable. Once your people are trained and have more product knowledge, 5 stars will be a no brainer.

I made an appointment for a cut and full color and the stylist told me she didnt have time to color my hair and wouldnt attempt to work with me in choosing any sort of color, like why allow me to book an appointment if you know you dont have time. As for the cut she absolutely butchered my hair. My layers if you could even call them that are choppy lines in my hair. none of it blends and it looks like a hot mess never going back

I had never been to a beauty brands before, so I went and checked it out for a trim on my hair. I have nice natural waves and I’m pretty simple with my hair, so when I get it cut I ask for long layers and face framing (you’d be surprised how many stylists I’ve been to who manage to screw it up). Ieesha took care of me and cut my hair just right! I’ll definitely be seeing Ieesha again for my next haircut!

The girls working tonight were rude. They made my daughters (16&17) feel bad about themselves. My girls told me that they wanted to leave because the employees were making them feel uncomfortable. Made them feel bad about themselves. We will never shop there again.

If youre looking for really good deals on hair products, then Beauty Brands gets five stars. If youre going for a haircut then it gets a meh. Its a great shop and if you sign up for coupons you can really find some good deals on brand names like biolage, Deva curl, bedhead, and a ton of other brands. What costs $13 for a small bottle of shampoo at Target will cost $8 here. Well worth a visit. I get all my shampoo and conditioner here now.

I just left there & I cant stop smiling! Cesar did my hair & I couldnt be happier with it. He exceeded my expectations with a fall color. Everyone there was so nice. Cesar will be my regular stylist from now on!

I did not go to the salon here. However their products are overpriced and the young kids that work here talk about things that they shouldnt talk about in a public setting. I prefer Sallys.

Had a 1pm appt; they called same day and told me everyone was at training and could I move to 2pm? I said yes to that. Got there at 2pm. Person who was supposed to help was in with the manager. 2:10 pm. Still no sign of who I was scheduled with. Still in with the manager who had, by now, shut the door. The door isnt thick enough to muffle that managers voice. Very rude to let a customer sit there while you tell off an employee. You, Ms Manager, are not more important than the customers. And I dont want an employee doing my nails who has just been put through the ringer by the manager. I left. Never to return.

Had my hair dyed gray to cover blonde hylights and the gray was completely gone in a week. I called to ask about it and they asked me if I would like to make another appointment. Im not going to pay for anorher dye job that washes out in a week. Wont go back.

I hardly complain especially when it comes to my hair, but this is the worst hair and color Ive had in 3 years. Had appointment at noon and showed up 15 mins early, but didnt even get called until 30 mins later. I showed my stylist the hair style I wanted; the color I wanted and how I like my hair to show some depth and yet again my hair is shorter than expected, my color did not even come out the way I wanted (hence I am Asian with black roots)and thats how my whole hair color ended up..BLACK!! I was hoping after 3 freaken hours sitting and waiting that my hair would at least compliment my face but no. Now i must walk around like a little 12 year old and go to another professional to fix it now. $100 for a cut and color only to have it shorter and the color I was born with. I could have let my husband do it, at least he understands directions. Never again beauty brand.
