I was in there shopping I asked for help and no one would help me. I found a red and black plaid pants I went to the worker and asked if they had the size I needed. Well the first thing they said was thats $45 like I didnt have the money. Then she just kept telling me that she THOUGHT the pants were bigger than what I needed.The workers were also talking with friends that didnt work there just acting like I wasnt there. It was awful so I just set everything down and left. That is ridiculous to treat a customer like that.

Picked up a couple Cannibal Corpse shirts for my son and I using a BOGO 1/2 off. Cool staff. People come at Hot Topic sideways but its not a venue. Its a place to see othwr misfits, nerds and anime geeks and thats why I still go.

Worst customer service ever. They had a line all the way to Maurice for almost 45mins. It was blocking two other store entrances. The person at the door was consistently on their phone. I even called to see if maybe it was a mistake and the door person wasnt paying attention. The lady was rude who answered and said she didnt see a line.This store needs to figure out a different way to line people up so they dont cause other stores to lose business.

Have very good things

When we were there last time they were super understaffed their customer service has gone down considerably since coronavirus as well as for they hardly have anything inside of the store at the moment

Inventory is very different than what is expected/listed online, and there wasnt much diversity in product, mostly anime related and not nuch real music related stuff just a personal downer for me as I enjoyed hot topics previous selections of the past.with current world events I can understand limiting people in at one time and accommodating the CDC guidelines can be a struggle to keep up with, but it is very hard to social distance in a store that feels a bit cluttered to be honest. Staff was however great and very helpful when we visited 👍My verdict, they have a LOT of stuff at this location, but it is mostly bulk of the same things and not much space to move around and actually browse. But if what they have there is what you want or are looking for you should be satisfied by the customer service. But maybe go on a slow day?6/10

Amazing store. They keep it clean and I always find what Im looking for! However, I do not like the fact that they close very early and if they dont see no one in the store, they start closing the doors at around 6:50 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.

Went to the mall today there was a note on the doors that were closed stating having internet trouble cant use register will open doors when we can. 4 people were inside 2 sitting on the floor 2 behind the counter. I had asked Spencers (which is next door and others close they stated throttle internet was fine. We even bought from Spencers. I love hot topic its my favorite store to shop at. I will not be shopping at this location. If they didnt want to work why be there.

This is a great Hot Topic to shop at. Its always filled with the friendliest staff. I am in there once or twice a month, and they always greet me so warmly; helping me out when i need it.

If youre visiting, Ally is the person to see.Shes very sweet and always provide us with exceptional customer service!Im a regular and shes one of the best employee that Ive come across in a while. Shes definitely made our experience awesome! A+++

The staff is very unfriendly

Friendly crew inside and this location was slamming! Superb location of this chain. Standard small style HT so they got an ocean of both apparel and novelties crammed onto shelves is a semi-coherent fashion. What sets this one above the rest is that they always seem to be staffed enough for the crowd thats there. They are friendly and fast at checking other stores inventory. Keep it up!

My husband and I got kicked out by the manager because we Open a nail polish.I was making sure it wasn’t dry like the other ones And the manager came by and told us we had to purchase the nail polish that we open if not we had to leave the store. He didn’t even allowed us to purchase anything else.

I Always find something new and something I like. I rarely leave the store empty handed. Great job I keeping people interested.

My Teenagers Favorite Store. I like them too. Heck, if you Like something (Harry Potter, Pokemon, Stranger Things, GoT, Marvel) then you will undoubtedly find something cool. The one here in Boulder also has cool folks who run it +++

I expect the same service I give. That being said, the kid working, or should I say leaning there was listening to the worst hateful screaming death metal, I was violated in a bad way. I was ready to shop for my niece and nephew but N. Although the kid was wearing a tshirt cut so you could see his entire body. Nice but not worth staying to have an angry kid ignore me. Im old!!

The kids that work here are less than helpful if you look like you are over the age of 18. The stuff they sell is cool, but Spencers is better.

Awesome staff but they need to do a better job keeping up folding their shirts. I mean its not a big deal just an observation. Otherwise its a great store

Short line wait, and nice service. However. there want much of a differing selection from other stores and a lot of the shorts werent stocked in common sizes like mediums.

Although its kinda chilly, I love the atmosphere and all the cool and quirky things you can find, I enjoy going to hot topic for the awesome shirts they have there. Also the action figures are awesome.

Its definitely a store for certain clientele, some very unique items but definitely an interesting place to check out!!!

This is the most spectacular amazing place I have ever been the staff are my extended family and space cats shirts are my life. I loooooooooove hot topic more than words can describe it basically my wifey. Basically like a club I feel honored to join. I wish could buy all the cat figurines they are my babies.

Cute Hot Topic, but its very cramped. I wouldnt say Im a large person, but Im definitely sturdy/husky. I often knock things over and off shelves here. Be careful!

The staff was really friendly and helped me find exactly what I was looking for and helped my choose some items that really made me gracious.

It seems like a few of the staff members have been here for a while and the friendlier ones have definitely stuck around. Nobody bothered me while I was shopping, but they were friendly and attentive when I needed them.

I love Hot Topic and I buy tons of clothes from there, consistently. They seem to have gotten the ac issue worked out too and turned down the music! Kind of narrow store but lovely staff and great fandom items. They are starting to stock kpop too!!

Ive lived hot topic since my emo days in 2002 and this store lives up to the same promise of weird emo counter culture that we all know and love. The staff is always friendly and down for a little chat. My only issue is that this site is so small and so cramped. I wish they could expand into the Spencers next door because Spencers is like hot topic for that guy that drank too much as a freshman in college, and its pointless and gross.

The staff at this location are extremely rude. Especially the girl with blue and purple hair, I believe was the store manager. I had an issue with an order but she tried to make it where it was my fault. I’ll never ship to this location again. This location is also always messy and it’s very difficult to walk around in.

Its a fun store, but it is almost always too cramped and crowded, which makes trying to navigate and move around the store a nightmare, and most of the time, I end up just leaving. Still, the staff is friendly and helpful, which I do appreciate. On a slow day, its fun to shop here.

This is a place where the band tees are endless, the piercings on the employees are endless, and the variety of things that you can get are large. What Im trying to say is its an emo wonderland with many rides. My favorite ride is the Black make-up splash hill drive, its like splash mountain but with alot of make-up remover.

The girls are always so attentive, and nice.

I have been going to Hot Topic for many, many years. I definitely liked them more when they were more about the goth/metal head style. Now, I’m not sure what they are, but that’s not why I’m writing this review.I’m writing this review because I am allergic to almost all metals except for sergical steel and sterling silver. Well I bought some new jewelry for my ear piercings a couple months ago from Hot Topic and I always ask which jewelry is sergical steel and sterling silver because I am so allergic to other metals it eats my skin away, literally.So, I asked somebody which jewelry was sergical steel and the lady pointed all the jewelry out to me (that was sergical steel) and I chose my favorite little pack of sergical steel jewelry, they were black and blue hoops with black, blue, and silver balls to go on each end of the hoops.Well it’s clearly not sergical steel because the second the coating started to come off of the balls and hoops, my ears skin stared getting eaten away. And it makes me even more upset that they literally have stickers on the little package that says sergical steel.Needless to say, I will never be giving Hot Topic my support as they clearly do not care about the well being of their customers. If they did, they would make products that are HONESTLY sterling silver or sergical steel.I am not accusing the ones that work in the stores for this problem, I blame whoever manufactures their jewelry. The manufacturer of their jewelry clearly doesn’t care if someone with an allergy comes in and gets an allergic reaction from buying their products. To me that’s pretty messed up.So, I’m going to go somewhere else to buy jewelry (not Spencer’s because I’ve had the same reaction with their “sterling silver” and “sergical steel” products).I am writing this review to warn anyone else who may have allergies to metals like I do. Their jewelry is not what they claim it is. Don’t waste your money.I tried to post a picture of my ear just so every One can see that this is serious but I don’t know how to post a picture here...
