Scheduled my appointment for 10/5 between 1-5pm. No call no show for service and after spending 30mins on the line to wait for someone to answer they tell me my service was scheduled for 10/8. I had been getting emails and text messages reminding me of my 10/5 appointment and they pretty much didn’t care as if were my problem. I understand if maybe there are hiccups or delays in service but to simply not call or even show up for an appointment is unacceptable. Not professional or courteous at all. I am extremely disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would.

My appointment was honored on time. The chipped and cracked windshield were filled almost to original state. I am very pleased with the workmanship and that I cant see the damage anymore!

My appointment was at 1:00. They were on time and very professional. Took time to explain the warranty. They did and excellent job.

If I could, I would have rated this place with zero stars! After going through my insurance and setting up an appointment, I received numerous reminders pertaining to my morning appointment for my windshield. I appreciated the reminders and made all the necessary arrangements, but when I arrived, I was asked if I had an appointment. Alas, you can imagine my chagrin, when I was told Id have to return because my windshield replacement had not arrived. The person in charge was just matter of fact, and seemed in the least sorry for the lack of communication.Im envious of the patrons who were able to give this place a five star rating. I wish it had been me, but I will not ever return or refer anyone to this place.Oh, and buyer beware, make sure you request an OEM and not after market, because you can be charged erroneously, and youll never know.

Scheduled them to come to my home to replace auto windshield and side window. They only do business through their website. You dont get to speak to a live person. So, they scheduled me for a Tuesday between 12-5 pm. At a a few minutes after 3 pm, they called to cancel. The reason s that the windshield had just been received and they still hadnt unloaded it from the delivery truck. The rep then asked when I wanted to reschedule. We rescheduled for today as close to 1 pm as possible. As of 4 pm, they still havent showed. So, I went onto their website and see that they now scheduled it for tomorrow between 12-5 pm. So, they scheduled it for when its convenient for them. I got on their websites Customer Service site and they were of no help. The guy gave me the number for the Brownsville location. I called it and got nothing but SafeLite commercials. After waiting for 10 minutes, I hung up.In summary, regardless of their quality (and who knows what it will be), they couldnt care less about their customers.Horrible experience so far and I hope to never have to use them again.

The best! Everyone here has been so wonderful and has gone so far out of their way to help me! My passenger window shattered while I was driving and the gentlemen at Safelite really went out of their way to replace it and get me back on the road. I cannot recommend them enough!

Work was done well, but the scheduling process is difficult. This is not to mention the office is hard to get a hold of and doesnt always call back when they say they will.

My windshield had a small chip and the guy that came to “fix” the chip made the chip into a crack! The guy said he needed to crack the windshield because the chip was too small. I didn’t complain at the time cause the damage was already done but they did not fix anything! My windshield was still broken! He said that it was gonna stay like that but it will not grow. Fast forward 8 months later my windshield now has a huge line crack coming from where the original chip was. I called them and told them my issue and refused to help. I even went in person and showed them all 3 different pictures of the original chip to the crack they made and what it is now. They have good customer service at first trying to sell you the service but their service quality is poor. Now I need a new windshield.

Car taken in at 9.30 am promised at 11.30 am, Car was finished at 4.30pm.Service and work was good though.

Very, very professional. They do a fantastic job and theyre quick and thorough. We had to have 1 windshield repaired and 2 replaced recently and three separate technicians were equally as good. Recommend for sure.

I call safelite Auto and ask for estimate to replace my windshield. The girl said, 245 plus something else added to the cost and wanted to know what can bring the car in. Too pushy and wanted to know now. I going to another repair shop which is cheaper and friendly. Forget Safelite.

Super quick & efficient when they come to your home to replace the windshield. Eduardo came with the right attitude and followed CDC guidelines. He took less than hour to finish the job and got it done well! Appreciate everything and kudos to him.

Awesome service. In and out in 40 minutes can barely see the quarter size chip.

Replaced my windshield but they did not seal it appropriately and now I have water seeping through. Scheduled them to come back to fix but they continue to push my appointment. So far on 3rd reschedule and my problem has not been resolved. Poor follow up service!!!

Right as I drove in from out of town, my windshield was cracked by a rock that came off a tractor trailer. I contacted Safelite, and they took me right in. Fast but expensive

The previous windshield replacements done by Safelite have been good. I cannot recommend them for Rock Chips as they turned my very small rock chip into a huge crack and now I need a new windshield. Check the other reviews for confirmation of the Rock Chip problems. I also am not happy with the lack of communication from the local Safelite management.

Great place to replace broken windshield. Did everything on app, just showed up 15 minutes before my appointment. As promised, car was ready.

The employees were so friendly & helpful. They were able to replace our back window on our Subaru within a couple days of our appt & they had to order the window first. Sam (from Brownsville, Tx shop) was the technician who did the work on our car. He kept us informed & answered any questions we had. Thanks.

I took my F150 shortly after receiving a ding on my windshield to this location of Safelite. They repaired the ding quickly to the point where its hardly noticeable. The job that they did was amazing! I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone that asks.

The service from my safelite associate was outstanding. He arrived within the promised window and alerted me 15 minutes before arriving. The install was completed quickly and he vacuumed and cleaned the windows.

We initially tried to call the Brownsville location but got a recording directing us to their website. Filled out their online application including payment information, then . . . Nothing! Their website did the twirly thing but never completed the order. Guess they don’t want any business.

Communication with tech on day of service was outstanding and he had a great can-do attitude and customer service. However, main office scheduler, dispatcher, parts person lacked sense of urgency and empathy. Initial service was postponed due to techs delayed at other jobs and weather, and when he finally arrived he identified additional parts for my 2012 Mini Clubman that should have been ordered since they would have to be removed and probably break in the process of replacing the windshield. First order of additional parts was delayed for more than a week because Safelite could not order from Mini directly and had to find source (they did) but after rescheduling twice due to tech delays, installation was incomplete because an additional part for the cowling had not been ordered, forcing me to schedule a third appointment with the technician. The following week the technician was able to complete the job entirely but all in all it was about a month to complete the job.

From the time I made the appointment to the time of install was less than 4 hours. That is amazing! the customer service of the office staff and the tech (Eddie Flores) is above and beyond expectations.

Tried to call the Brownsville shop directly with an important questions & was redirected to a call center. Hardly local customer service.

I go in twice, have pleasant conversations, even though they told me to come back the next day, I stood got a card and said have a nice day. I come back the next morning, they tell me I should have made an appointment and that they cant do my crack today. Very unprofessional, not concerned with working, only getting an hourly wage.

Just... wow! Windshields are really hard to replace and they did ours in just an hour. Watched the whole thing from theit office window while the skilled technician did his work efficiently and carefully. Such attention to detail at every step. Such care for my car. Removed the smashed glass and all the old gasket tack... and I mean every little bit of it was pulled and scraped and meticulously cleaned and prepped to make sure the new tack and glass wasnt put over any of the old material. Theyve got a huge inventory too. Id guess they have windshields for every car and truck made since 1980 in stock and probably a bunch older than that.

I scheduled my appointment 6 days in advance, I get a call at 2:53, two hours before they close the day prior to my appointment to tell me that they dont have the windshield for my vehicle. Safelite in Brownsville... why did you take that long to let me know?! Im using vacation hours to schedule this work and now I have to reschedule and use up more vacation hours.

I had my windshield replaced in satellite mcallen store and moments later winshild crack with no reason since I had lifetime warranty, I went to the store and they dint want to be responsible so I felt like wow they make you feel like is your problem well I move on, then second issue I notice a buzzing noise as Im driving Im like ones aging problems so I go to the Brownsville store since I was staying over there,and this store they drove with me determine there was wind noise, said they re seal the the windshield, but some how the manager dint want to take responsibility and came up with all types of stories and just put some glue over the glass witch with the weather n sun Ill be a matter of time I said that what they did is on professional, is like taking a tire to get fixed, and all they do to it is put a fix flat an send u out. .I wish some one in a hire rank can do something about that. . bad place jus go else were thats my word
