Excellent service! Charles Alvarez was great to do business with. He was very helpful and responsive to our questions and was always prepared to help us. Charles was also quick to help get changes approved when we changed our minds at the last minute. Additionally the finance department was quick and efficient. I highly recommend asking for Charles Alvarez when you visit Boggus Tipton Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep

This was the absolute worst experience for service! Scott Evans has no clue about how to treat customers! He was one of the most arrogant disrespectful persons I have ever met from a “professional dealership”. This guy refused to be held accountable for his mistakes. Not only did he waste my time but money! And here is the zinger my Jeep is still not fixed. He tried to say he was doing me a favor even though my car is brand new and under warranty! The nerve of this guy!!! Something definitely needs to change. I talked to his supervisor but doubt any serious reprimands will be made. I made my concerns apparent and it turned into a screaming match. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at ALL costs! If I could give this negative stars I would. The service is slow as heck. If you want a good dealership this is not the place for you!

Purchased a great truck 01/16/20 Definitely no other service person at Don Johnson Motors like Rudy. If you need to take your vehicle in for service make sure and ask for Rudy. I was their the day before and mentioned a recall and non working fog light. When my truck was returned and asked about the fog light and the response was oh I forgot. I was a quite upset when I clearly stated my issues to her and told me she would talk to the mechanic about it. On Day 2 I call and gentlemen answers and says bring in we will take care of you. I showed up and Rudy handled my issues and concerns at 200% thank you!

I had two recall issues with my Ram 1500. Called the service department to get an appointment. They dont do appointments, first come first served. Service guy, Scott Evans, suggested that I bring it in before 6 pm and they would get it in first thing the next morning. That worked out great. They did the recall work, plus a couple minor things I asked for. Scott told me how much the extras would cost when I dropped it off, thats exactly what I paid when I picked it up. Scott called me about 2 oclock the next day, all done. Scott was very professional and courteous. Not the biggest dealership around, but, if the sales department is like the service department, Ill buy my next vehicle there.

Save your time and money. I took my 2016 Challenger to their body shop after being in a car accident which resulted in having my left door with a huge dent. When I went to go pick up my car I noticed some details I wasnt very happy with (the hood was uneven, the fuel lid was loose, & the window seal was not well placed). The repair shop manager Ruben was very rude to my dad - he decided he didnt want to fix the mistakes left in the car and wouldnt listen to what we had to say. He ignored my dad when he was talking to him and basically walked away. After talking to Romel (also a manager) about the issues with the repairs made to our car he wasnt having it either. He was rude towards the end basically kicking us out to pay our 500$ deductible and take our car. I had never had an issue with another repair shop in the past, I understand repair shops have a set schedule with many cars to repair, but this shop was a mess. They also lied about using new car parts for the repair. I would honestly not recommend this place to anyone who is looking to buy/repair a car. There are some great car dealerships in Brownsville, and this isnt one.

Buyer beware, they did not honor Chryslers synthetic oil change special that we purchased from Nyle Maxwell of Austin. Don Johnson charged us additional money as they stated they only get a certain amount from Chrysler for the service. The additional money they charged brings it up to the regular price. Lodged a complaint with the BBB against Nyle Maxwell for falsifying the service package when they sold it to us. They stated it was Don Johnsons issue they should never have charged us any additional money. My advice is not to purchase their Oil Change special 3 oil changes for 150.00 plus tax, it will not be a bargain.New owners made this right to us. Thank you.

Very disappointed with a service I can’t get. My vehicle has a recall and when I took it they said it couldn’t be done. That I have to take it early in the morning. First come first serve and it wouldn’t be a guarantee it was gonna be done. The service manager Scott doesn’t have manners to treat customers. I have purchased 9 cars from there but never again with that service and that rude Scott. I was gonna go next week to buy a Jeep Wrangler but after this nope. Don’t go there. Service it’s pathetic.

Very happy with their service and attention to our desperate situation. Our diesel truck broke down while we were in town on vacation. Don, Mr Johnsons grandson saw to it that our truck got looked at and figure our what the problem was. Very nice guy and got a real treat got to meet Mr Johnson himself. What a nice gentleman. I bought a battery from autozone but it has 800CCA, but my car calls for 730 to 750CCA. Came in with the technicians just to double make sure everything will function well. They explained to me how batteries work and my car is working fine, awesome

The people who work here have no idea what is going on. When you walk into a business you expect someone to approach you or great you to acknowledge you are there and ask what you need but that didnt happen here. They are very unorganized and even the manager has no idea what is happening. They didnt seem to appreciate my business so Ill never be going back there again and I would advise you to think twice if you are thinking about going to inquire any services they offer.Including purchasing a car.

If I could put negative stars I would worst customer service experience of my life. Scott in service has no customer service skills at all!!! He’s extremely rude and didn’t bother to hear out what was wrong with my vehicle or how my warranty worked! If you need something fixed on your vehicle. Try another Chrysler in Harlingen or McAllen! Very disappointed with service! I bought my car in August of 2015, before I had minimal problems with the car that were sorted fast and easy. Now there is a cooling fan problem and they don’t have the part. My car has been at Don Johnson motors for 2 months they still have not received the part with no expected time of completion. During this time, Don Johnson Motors has not provided any loaner car claiming they don’t have any at the moment. So now we call Chrysler, they get back to us 5 days later telling us that the “part won’t get to the dealership for another month” and they would have a rental car but we would have to pay the taxes and some fees and obviously the gas. If y’all are planning to buy a car from here when you research the car you are getting make sure you also research the dealership.

Service manager was rude. I was hassaulted with obscene language. Iwas also physically assaulted. He was angry because I called the corporate toll free number. If you call that number leave the dealership first. Warranty work its recommend to get an appointment. Good luck they refuse to tak appointments.

I was rear ended. Took my car in to be repaired. Body guy quit half way through. Took over a month to complete. Had to pay out of pocket for rental car for entire month. Insurance would not cover the extended time.Paint was okay, some edges were rusty, paint was textured in some areas.

My experience was horrible I did receive numerous calls to set up appointments to take a look at the inventory and I was promised I would receive all the help to get something good for my trade until I made time one day to go the salesman approached me while I got to the door who I asked for never came out someone other salesperson helped and it was difficult because he had no clue what I was promised so when he asked about my credit and I told him Im working on it he totally blew me off and said he needed to get a aplicación inside the office and never came out! For me that was the worst customer service knowing that I have been customer service too where I asked customers to apply for credit cards and if they didnt pass I wouldnt turn my back around like don Johnson did

Do not recommend very convincing, but at the end they do not work with you. They will pertty much just throw you out of the store. Very manipulative service! Dont know who the rude obnoxious receptionist is, but if that is any indication upon first impressions, I can only imagine what the rest of the staff is like.Young lady who is the receptionist needs an attitude adjustment to the Nth degree. I went to don johnson because they are a dodge dealer and my pickup is a ram2500. the driver window wouldnt roll up. after 3 days, i think the glass man had never done this before, they called and was given the ok to order the part. a week later i get my pickup back. i had questioned the labor charges and we agreed on a total price. as we shook hands he said that doesnt include tax i agreed. the bill had an added charge of $13.86 for shop supplies. i questioned it as there isnt any supplies needed except the replacement part. they were adamant so i paid. it isnt the money, it is the adding cost after we had agreed on a price! i didnt think i needed to put it in writing but i was wrong! get it in writing folks! needless to say i will go to another dodge dealer if i need one.

I went in to fix a recall on a Dodge Durango and was told they only service on a 1st come 1st served basis, no service by appointment, and they were full that day. I took my Durango in the next morning and they said they had a full schedule. This is how serious they take safety recalls into account, they dont care about fixing them maybe because they are not getting money from us. Im still driving with the air bags risk of deployment and spilling fuel every time I fill the tank up. WORST PLACE FOR TAKING CARE OF RECALLS!!!!

Like the other reviewer said, their service department is scammy and talks you into a bunch of things that your vehicle doesnt need. A vehicle with a brand new rear end doesnt need the rear end fluid flushed. Schiesters!!! And their finance girl will not return calls when you want to cancel one of the unnecessary extras that they talk you into when you buy a brand new vehicle. Ill drive to Harlingen next time.

When we bought the vehicle they treated us in an excellent way, now that the vehicle has recalls in the SERVICE nobody speaks Spanish and since you dont speak English they see you as a rare animal and treat you with contempt and little courtesy, terrible service, we bought 3 vehicles the same day and they treated us like kings .. Now they treat us as if they were doing us a favor for pity .... we will find another agency to take our vehicles. How sad that the owners do not pay attention in these types of situations.
