Everything was done correctly and properly. However I did give my phone number to receive a call once my vehicle was ready....I never got that call, I had to call to see if my vehicle was ready for pick up. Need to work more on communicating with the customer.

Well, my car is a 2008 Malibu and I have always taken my car for repairs at Tipotex Chevrolet. The service has always been excellent, they always take me home and when the car is ready they come and pick me up. I took my car to repairs because I had problems opening the trunk and other issues. I am very, very pleased with their work, I highly recommend Tipotex Chevrolet.

If I would call my service advisor on his direct line he would never answer and when I called the service number they will just go ask him and bring me back the message which it would always be (they are working on ypur vehicle) this went on for three weeks.

After going to this dealership 4 times, I should have known that there was a reason why I should have not gone back. Manager Joe gave me four different prices and no they wouldnt get lower it will go higher then what he had promised me. (keep in mind I had pictures of the estimates he gave me with his writing on what he had promised me) Good thing I stood my ground and not have him run my credit because that would have brought my score down. I also took his advise in not doing a trade in and adding a co signer and even going to a less expensive vehicle. Accommodating to him he still turned around and went back on his word. Ive worked very hard to get to an excellent credit score and just like that it didnt matter since Joe the manager calls the shots. I went everyday after work to see how they can help me, sadly the sales person had his hands tied since Joe is the manager his word against his. But the salesperson was so kind and truthful saying how sorry he is that his manager had agreed to something and just like that changed his mind. Dealerships can if they wanted to but since Joe didnt want to he made it difficult for me. I am so very disappointed but everything happens for a reason so I am going to be patient and my truck will come in no time. So Joe hope you take this as a learning experience we are customers you are suppose to help us, also your salesperson hope you realize what a true manager should be like.

Our vehicle sat for a whole week in the service department and we were never notified about what was going on. We called Gillman SB and same day they were able to diagnose our car. Our car was repaired at Gilman San Benito fast.

I love this place I went to do an oil change and I just parked my vehicle by the quick lube and they greeted me right away in a really friendly and welcoming form. Not only that service was accurate on time, did not took them much time to get my vehicle clean and washed. I will be coming back for any service that I will be needing in the future.

Three issues arise: (1) the manager of the quick lube did not want to put synthetic oil in my truck saying it is the wrong oil weight. Then you should carry or have access to the correct weight in synthetic oil. I showed the manager the special for the synthetic oil, but it did not go down that way(2) There was a lot of oil on my driveway the next day. I had to get under the truck to make sure there was not an oil leak. Im not 100% sure, but I think the oil was from when the mechanic removed the oil filter, the oil spilled on a part of the truck that has a cavity and the oil seeped out and onto my concrete pad. Now I have oil stains on a pad that was oil free before goin to Tip-o-Tex.(3) There was oil smudges on my truck from the tech putting his hands on the truck. Usually they place a mat on the fender panel to prevent this issue. Not the professional job you should expect from a Chevy shop.

Took my truck in for recall, oil change and fuel injector service. Joe was polite but seemed disgruntled. I was told truck would be ready by the end of the day and later received a text that it wouldn’t be ready until the next day around 11:30am. Called dealership the next day to verify if my truck was ready and got transferred three times and nobody answered. I ended up showing up and was told they never got a call from me but my truck was ready. After leaving, receipt said my tires would be inspected and rotated to which it wasn’t even done. I specifically left the wheel lock on top of the center console for that reason. Who’s to say the other services were even performed if they can’t even do a simple task of rotating tires?
Errol Reyes helped me out so much. I found the perfect car for me due to his intelligence and listening skills. He went out of his way to get me the best deal and find my dream first car. I don’t know where I’d be without him and Tipotex’s help. They take care of you like if you’re family! Dont take your car there be aware ! I took my Chevy Tahoe there due the truck over heating but they couldnt figure out the issue they even contacted the one of the GMC engineers, but they still couldnt fix the issue. Also I took my other vehicle to their body shop and they took about 3 months to fix it, and when I came over to the body shop the paint job was horrendous they replaced the fender and they didnt properly alligned the fender so there was a big gap between the fender and the hood and alot more things too many to list them here, never again I will try to find another body shop.
My experience with y’all was a pleasant one! From the time that got out of our car employees were offering help! The repair representative/Cano was polite,helpful,knowledgeable & I found him to be honest & that’s everything to me a female! When your a female other repair shops think we are dumb &try to charge you more/they will try or will get one over on us, but not here I found my charges to be reasonable & for this reason I will be going back to purchase a new vehicle by the end of this year!!!Again thank y’all very much for the honesty!!!

No frills dealership - straight and to the point. No cute stuff like hidden fees and unsolicited dealer add ons. They put up with me (difficult customer). I trust them. Too many dealers today are rip-offs with all sorts of tricks, gimmics, bait-and-switch. Tip-O-Tex isnt one one them. I have purchased a total of ten vehicles from them over the years.

You can see from my other reviews that Im pretty hard on most dealerships as I have had very few positive experiences and dont appreciate the methods most use. That being said, my experience with Tipotex was one of the easiest car purchases Ive ever made (Ive made a lot!) and thats including the fact that I live 1200 miles away! Jesse and Joe were extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and made sure that I was accommodated throughout the whole process and gave me a fantastic deal on the car I wanted. The fees were much more reasonable than other dealers also. I would be more than willing to make the flight and 1200 mile drive back home to do business with these guys again rather than deal with the games, nonsense, excessive fees, and all around BS that you get with other dealerships. I also have to add that its pretty awesome that the gas stations in Texas sell cowboy boots.

Car was given to me 2 days after being dropped off, even though I was never advised, and the only reason I got a loaner car was because I kept calling and calling. The asvisor ms Adriana I believe is overall the worst agent I have ever dealt with. Start off with her calling me Crystal even though I’m a guy and that should tell you how the next two days went. Overall very bad experience, my car is still not okay, but what can I do.

I do not know if I can trust Chevrolet any more after being loyal for years. My first car been was chevy and only been buying chevy. 2020 I had trouble with the steering locking on us while driving. Took it in 3 times. To hear they dont know whats going on and it must happen about 5 times for them to WORK SOMETHING OUT with me was concerning. We almost had a accident and the children was in the car. they wanted us to keep the vichle . This was with corporate. Well this was what I was told. I forgot to mention this was less then a year 2020 new blazer with 1 thousand mile car. We didnt feel safe anymore. There was nothing they could do so I had to sacrifice and HAD to trade the new car lose money and lose the car we traded for the missed up 2020 blazer. New payment is more then then old one. To say more its the same blazer just 2021 made. Exactly the same blazer nothing new. This experience was the worst in all our years with Chevrolet. It was to late I had already made the trade but this was the first time I ever thought off cutting ties with Chevrolet and should of just traded for another brand. Anything would of done at this point. If we ever get new vichles again we just might go some where else

I dislike the fact that I have to leave my vehicle there for a whole week. Just so the service people could tell me that the noise that my truck is making and the transmission slipping sensation is normal. My husband goes and picks up my truck and they tell him that nobody ever told them anything about the transmission. The person that was writing down the details was more concerned into finding the correct word to describe the noise and forgot about the main picture. I clearly stated i had already taken my truck before because it had some hard kick while shifts or gears changed. And i told him now it feels like the transmission is slipping because i hit the gas and it doesnt accelerate properly. It accelerates very very slowly and heavy and it makes a noise like when its missing power steering that humming or whining noise i did mention it in spanish so he was more concerned into finding the correct english description but never wrote down anything about the transmission. I dont know how the system works there, im not sure if the service people actually talk to the people who check the vehicles? Or do they just go by the small little note thats written on the system. Its very disappointing because it takes alot out of my time to take a vehicle that is fairly new and that im still paying to be checked for something going on in the engine or transmission. And then also disappointing to have to wait a whole week just for them to say its normal and turn in the vehicle to me the same way i took it.
