I always find good things on clearance. Store employees are friendly & helpful. They have a nice variety of furniture for decent prices. What I love most about this store is that I can find old school types of candy. I love candy! 😆

Pretty much has everything from furniture, rugs, carpets, kitchen gadgets, utensils, groceries, curtains, towels, etc. Well laid out and interesting ! Lots of Christmas items, galore!

Dont go in there until they decide to spend a few bucks on getting the AC fixed, its ungodly hot in there! Once they finally decide to do the right thing and fix it Ill give them one more star.

Big lots brownsville has been without A/C since January 2021. They have no excuse!!!! For customers and for employees this is unbearable! Being a huge corporate company, they have ignored this serious issue!!

I bought a culinary knife set with a butcher box and to my surprise I only had one knife in the box. I had to take it back to exchange but store didnt have replacement. I like the store but check your items before you go home ask cashier you want open box.

Big lots has things that you will find nowhere else. Its fair priced if not on the cheaper side, but the product quality is great.

This store keeps on evolving, they have had some good furniture sales. If you like their quality, pots & pans are a good $ too. And kitchen appliances

Its really hot and stuffy when you enter the building. The kitchen items and food items are always well stocked, but the shower and self care items such as clay mud mask peel off masks etc. are always out of stock. I dont like the state of how the building is they offer at store pick up. I just dont feel like it is cleaned as often as it should or regulated.

Wanted to maybe purchase some sofas but there was no one there to attend to us

Got a roll up mattress here for $84! Be sure yo check online for pricing! They tried to sell it to us for $100 plus tax even though it said $80 online!

I love big lots! the home decor is so cute and affordable as well as everything else. some things are a little pricey at times but that’s how it is anywhere you go. the prices on DVDs are really good also!

Honestly, Big Lots looks empty in the middle store. Almost like you can take a run track around. But heres the question,local people what are you going to do about it. My opinion, lets keep in mind that they are here to help, what ever items they have are to serve the community. Their prices depends on you(take it or leave it) but the fact with this virus covid 19 this place can disappear from our city forever. Lets all do what ever you can help. Stay safe, be patient.

Good selection of household items, decor and furniture. Purchase a very comfortable recliner chair several years ago (used daily) and is still just as comfortable as the first day, and in great condition. Very affordable for the quality of the product. Recommended visiting this store when in need of household items before going to big box stores or specialty furniture stores, especially if you are on a budget.

I enjoy shopping and browsing at the store because of the variety of things I could purchase. Unlike other department stores, you wont have to deal with cramped aisles and children running about. I always find myself smiling after a shopping spree, oh and they usually have great deals, Id love to work here someday.

Lots of Christmas goodies for cheap. The reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is the bathroom was filthy, the store was just junky and there were things out of order. You really had to dig to find what you were looking for.

Employees are polite and helpful when asked for assistance. Some of the stuff they have for sale is fairly priced, but beware of some items costing more than you would pay at your local Walmart or HEB.
