I ordered and paid for a mixer online that showed on their website was available at this store. After driving 40 minutes to pick it up I was told that it was not available. I had to wait an hour to process a return because their system takes time to update. You just have to wait. Then I was told that I have to wait 5-7 business days for my card to be refunded. Why bother having a purchase online option if you dont update your inventory?I will be purchasing future gear from Amazon or Sweetwater Sound.

I give a 4 star because an employee 12/03/20 I asked to see if guitar was available did nothing and another great employee Angel that had been assisting me was returning guitar with no knowledge of me wanting to see if that product was available. Today 12/04/20 I went back to see if clerk Angel E b ( not present) made a mistake with change I gave. If I am correct that same employee answered he checked audit and just left w/o doing anything like yesterday when I asked of guitar was available. Anywho I purchased more items and just believed employee (unkown) that the $100 I thought was missing was no error.

Sam is the man. I knew what I wanted going to this store, and he guided me all the way with helpful suggestions. He is knowledgeable and was very willing to ask me what I wanted, even while selling higher, he knew I was on a budget so he didnt press it. I felt like it was a good deal. This is a big store, so to have someone escort you around and bring you to want you need is great. A lot of stuff is higher priced, but with instruments you get what you pay for in most cases. They have a nice selection of everything, the store is neat despite being in an older building. I recommend it for any average consumer looking for music stuff.

Customer service provided by Frank was excellent. Guitar center on the other hand was ehh. They had a squire guitar that was miss priced, and the big bearded guy wouldnt honor the price tag price. The up side to the visit was Franks customer service/ knowledge.

Decent selection on most musical gear. I usually prefer to get my stuff online to avoid the taxes. Staff hasnt been that helpful. I was trying to decide between JBL and Yamaha studio monitors and was demoing them side by side for like 40 minutes with no one coming up to me to ask if I had questions. When someone finally did say something it was just them telling me to leave since they were closing. Ended up buying on Amazon instead.

I am a regular at guitar center and they seem to think that just because Im a regular they dont have to say thank you each time after I make a purchase. It happens all the time. Even after I say thank you they just stay silent. Today will be the last time I go over there. Ill just buy my stuff online and take my business elsewhere.Also, make sure you check your gear before you leave the store with it. I purchased a sterling musicman there a few years ago and since they only had the floor model available, I asked if they could mail me a new model. They agreed. I went to the store to pick it up a few days later and it was just another floor model from another store with the inputs messed up. Terrible experience. I ended up taking the original floor model and I have trouble with the bass to this day.

Nice place but how much does a normal guitar cost like the wood ones?

Staff was friendly and answered all questions I had and even had a few suggestions for me. I purchased bheringer speakers and shure wireless microphones (both great brands). A few things I wanted to buy were not at the store, but they were able to order them for me and got there a couple of days after.

I spent approximately 30 minutes in the store, hoping to purchase a new bass amp. Apparently, they felt like they were busy although there was very few people in the store, and nobody spoke to me. There are other places I can, and will go!

Neat and tidy unlike the Mcallen store. Personel were super helpful. I had bought online a mic that was on sale at 10 bucks but then got emailed it was out of stock. Got here and saw the same mic at 49.99 and told the guy my story. I showed him my order on his PC and he respected the price i had gotten online.

Employees are always difficult to get a hold of. Think the Home Depot of music. Then, when you find someone, they either arent in that department, dont know anything. G of what you need help with, or are helping like 5 customers ahead of you even though youve been waiting for help for 30 minutes. If you really want something, make the 5-minute drive to Hermes. Theyll help you pretty much right away and they know what theyre talking about.The only redeeming quality is their sales. From time to time they have a sale that will beat everyone elses price. Thats the only time its acceptable for me to shop here.

What can I say???? Well to start of this store has everything that a begginer needs, but lately the good stuff for advance and professional musician are gone 😔 well it is what it is.

I walked in to a under staffed store and some helps me but then shortly leaves. I try to get help again but they are stuck in a 15 minute call and then help me for 30 seconds and then leave. They are gone for 15 minutes and never come back to help. The guy finally comes back and gives some advice but never will I go back there.
