Useless place, I wish I could buy books somewhere else. I recommend only buying digital copies. I ordered my book, go to pick it up to be told my order isnt ready. Two days still not ready. How can you not walk in the back and just grab the book I need. And the online pickup area had no one there had to stand and wait for almost 10 minutes, then the attendant lolly gags her way to the counter taking her sweet time. Id give zero stars if I could. And calling is useless, it rang for 3 minutes straight, 3 times in a row.
Has good blinn merch however they lack cloths that are extra small.
Order it though their online bookstore is the easiest way to get your books. Its super convenient.
Do not use curbside pick up for your books! It is basically non-existent. I downloaded the app and said I arrived, waited 20 minutes and watched people go in and out. So finally, I went inside after already waiting because they wouldnt answer the phone (I called twice and it rang for over a minute each time before the call would just end). I was then told Id have to wait in another line to get my order. I did curbside because I did not want to go inside and then to have me wait more time when my order was already done and paid for was beyond frustrating. I now have to come back another time before they close at 5pm because I did not have time to wait even longer. I do not recommend using curbside at all. Horrible experience.
I ordered a Blinn Logo Tumbler for a Graduate Gift, when it arrived the tumbler had been damaged by the shipping company. I contacted via email and sent pictures of the damage, and got an immediate reply. The Manager sent me a replacement which arrived a day later, in time to give my gift. I highly recommend their website and purchasing online. And, I highly appreciate the fantastic customer service, and communication within their management team! Thank you for assisting me in such a quick manner, and providing a remedy to my unfortunate shipping experience.
Absolutely worst service. holiday hours are wrong and when tried to call, no answers or redirection. it’s better to buy your books from a friend who already took the class or getting it online! (in person service is nice but very slow)
Just because I didnt drop a class they wouldnt take back a brand new, not opened even a little, book. Why do I have to drop a class to change my mind on a book??

The staff is very helpful but the prices are outrageous for ‘school supplies’ or any snacks, but probably good prices for text books. If you just need a little flash drive or a binder go somewhere else if possible!!
The experience at this particular book store isnt bad especially compared to other Book Stores. There seems to be a common narrative that the customer service here isnt good, in my experience this hasnt been the case at all. If you come right before classes start it will be hectic but what are you expecting? Come a few weeks before classes start and you will be in and out in 5 mins.
Easy to get what I needed for classes. Plan for masks and long lines due to Covid though.
Impossible to reach them. Don’t answer their phone. I’ve tried multiple times. The option for online orders will transfer you and then immediately disconnect. The options for textbooks and general assistance ring 10 times and then disconnect. No email, as promised, regarding an online order I placed for pickup 3 days ago for my son. So frustrating!!
Unnecessarily expensive and cannot guarantee the materials are correct for your classes. staff is polite but the stores policies attitude toward student success doesnt make me happy to use them.
They don’t answer their phones and emails. They have poor communication skills. Whoever the manager is there needs an attitude check.
As a parent buying books for my daughter who is taking dual credit courses in high school, and not recieving any consumer service at all I will definitely know the process of locating the books via course and isbn number for next time. If I were a student though I would investigate other avenues for obtaining my books as a backup because many of their shelves were bare. Poor customer service, poor inventory.
I live about an hour away and take my classes online. I had one book I forgot to take with me to trade in and if youve ever dealt with this store you know they only take half the books back so I tried to call and see if they would take that specific book so I didnt have to make a wasted trip. The person who answered wouldnt tell me that simple information and was completely unhelpful.
Textbooks are so damn expensive, and unfortunately there are some specific items needed for Blinn that can only be found here. Good service, at least. Try and pick up your books before rush week.
Generally a great place with polite helpful staff, only one instance when I was trying on hoodies and decided to wear it out because it was cold so I pulled the tags off at the register for the girl to ring up, an older staff member comes up front asking if I decided to buy it and asking the girl at checkout if I had her ring it up. Im in there spending hundreds on books and she is going to insult me thinking I was going to steal a $25 hoodie ? Really? Im 45 years old, i think I m a little past the shoplifting stage, especially if Im in there spending hundreds on other stuff 🤨... feeling very insulted right now!

Ordered textbooks and materials online. Package shipped in time, but received the wrong books/missing materials. Ordered the books new and received used books in poor condition. Called about the order and had to go in person to settle the dispute. Lady was disrespectful and irritated. Will never order online from them again.
Their employees have no idea when they close or open. I called and asked times and they gave me the wrong times for opening and closing because when I showed up they told me a completely different time and turned me away. Blinn college in bryan already sucks as it is but i guess every part of its sucks not just classes and professors.

I always go here for books and other supplies. Its easy for me to order my books offline and then pick them up.
Good book store, they resolved all my book issuesI feel bad for them during busy times, the building is small enough that it gets cramped and overwhelmed with people when we all need books so that’s a stressful time to get books
They usually always have the books I need but I swear the employees grab the most expensive version of the book and never mention any other options. I have to specifically ask for a used or rental copy of a book.

Expensive books however it comes with the territory of college. The book manufacturers bend students over and takes us from behind. $230 for an accounting book? Come on man. Oh and the security officers follow students around the store as well. Kind of creepy.

The textbook helpers have no idea what theyre doing. Half of them are extremely rude and dont know how to deal with customers. I would literally rather spend my money anywhere else. Never again blinn bookstore! Youre awful!
