Just recently visited the store and bought some awesome $1 albums. It was a blast going through the selection and picking some very obscure records. I also highly recommend picking up one of their mystery bags. The selection I got was amazing and the records were in great condition.The staff is super helpful and welcoming.Amazing store and way worth a visit.

Atmosphere:The atmosphere is very welcoming and with the amount of vinyls almost looks nostalgic, until you see that they have modern albums and up-to-date products. Being greeted upon entry and asked if need any assistance is very welcoming. The fact that they have a listening room/lounge area seems really inviting and definitely a great place to relax.Service:The service at this store is amazing to say the least. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products they have and are willing to assist at any point in time. Being a first time record buyer they told me what my aspirations were and what to consider to purchase moving forward. They also explain how to take care of records and even offer various ways to store and display. The owner has so much passion for her store, products and willing to take the explain her products as well any answer and questions.Quality:Talk about quality, they practically have anything from A to Z. Vinyl records, record players, display cases, stickers and even accessories. Have older records still in plastic wrap with hype stickers still on them and even older records in great condition. I like the fact that she has a sheet that if you want a certain album she will try her best to get it for you and at a great price at that. (Case in point: Ive been looking for the Tron Legacy Soundtrack for awhile, in which my fiancé got me and told me that the owner drove to Conroe to pick it up for me, talk about quality and customer service).Recommendation:Highly recommend whether your a beginner into the world of vinyls or vinyl aficionado, this store has all your needs. They even host monthly events at the store such as open mic, vinyl and yoga, arts and crafts, and so much more.

We got the cutest, best fitting masks ever from here. Mary custom made masks for our kids camp and found adorable fabric, and made masks that even the kids liked to wear. Customer service is outstanding, I HIGHLY recommend this business!

This place has a huge selection of vinyl records of all descriptions. I was blown away by the variety of new records, old records, and obscure records. They also sell many different models of record players. The store is half record store and half listening studio with multiple players set up so you can try before you buy! I went in as a curiosity and had my eye on multiple albums, but I had to buy one record that I couldnt live without. I am definitely going back!

I bought a vinyl online from this store and it came in great shape. Not only did they have my *elusive* limited edition vinyl, it was also shipped with care. Typically, when I receive a vinyl in the mail, it can come a little scratched or busted, but Curious Collections had sealed it up with careful packing and even added some cool stickers! It made the trip from Texas to Wisconsin with not so much as a scratch. 10/10 would recommend.

Great selection and amazingly friendly staff

Curious Collections is THE spot in town for records. There really is no other that compares! They’ve even got really good masks that fit over my face. I bought 1 for every day of the week! I’ve got to say my favorite is my Spider-Man mask, but they’re all great, and all handmade! As far as records, you really can’t beat their selection. One of my favorite things to do is get their Mystery Bags! It makes it way easier to expand my musical horizons. Even if you’re looking for something specific, I’d bet money that Curious Collections has it, and if they don’t, they’ll order it for you!

I purchased a fabric face mask from Curious Collections because they offered a version that didnt have ear loops, came with a nose bridge and offered larger sizes for those of us with bigger heads. My mask was stitched by Mary herself and it is top notch. Much better than the one size fits all versions many others are selling. Great product, great customer service and always happy to support a local (Texas) small business. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best Record Store in the state of Texas. No one compares to Mary, the owner. She is so helpful with everything and does her job well. One thing that is really cool about this place is that they do special orders, so if you dont see what you want, they can always order it for you and it gets in super quick. A coworker told me about this place so I looked it up! It was cool to find a place like this here in the CS/Bryan area! They have a pretty good selection, and if they dont have what youre looking for, they are very ready to go looking for it for you (they even enjoy the challenge of finding the best price for ya!)! Theres a nice listening area where you can listen to your tunes and a cool overall atmosphere about the place! Their rewards plan is pretty neat too! I was very impressed overall!

Curious Collections Vinyl Records is one of the best record shops I have ever visited. It has so many different records, including both those that you would want and those that you havent discovered yet. I just placed an order for one of their Blind Sets and having visited the store previously, I am sure I will receive interesting records that I wouldnt have found otherwise. I took in a 6 change CD player that I thought Id never have again. They had it fixed in no time. Hubby hooked it up for me yesterday and its working perfectly!!! Thank You so much Mary and crew. Highly recommend! If I could give this 100 stars I would in a heartbeat. The customer service is exceptional, from ordering over the phone to the delivery. Leaving Christmas shopping to the last minute, I ordered a record over the phone 2 days before Christmas . Needing it to arrive before Christmas, since the post office couldn’t guarantee it getting on time, Mary went above and beyond and personally delivered it to me. I highly, deeply, truly appreciate it. Will be buying more from you guys!

If you are looking for anything custom they are willing to work with you on.

When you walk into Curious Collections you can feel the positive energy. There is a large selection of classic vinyls. If you cant find it here, the staff will do their best to get it. The owner of Curious Collections took the time to talk with my family and made us feel welcome. Such an amazing and helpful place. I have been there multiple times and all my questions have been answered and the staff is very friendly. The selection and is great and the prices are reasonable. I love that they sell from new to very old. From Country to hard rock. And if Im looking for something specific they are able to find it and order it! Love that.

Liked the place. It has a nice variety of records and the ladies working there were very nice. I bought two records and while not cheap, they were in excellent condition. Each record was in its own sleeve and the entire album came with a clear baggie. It seems they also have events there as the lady cashier there informed me of the open mic night that evening. Definitely going back to add to my collection.

Good store, nice vibe but prices generally too high. I shop a lot of used music stores and vinyl is vinyl based on quality of condition. The used vinyl here is generally well above same product, same quality of other stores outside of Bryan/College Station. Second visit... and this trip I can tell all prices moved up.

My biggest regret from my college life was not finding out about this place earlier. Very nice record store, clean and organized, and has a listening room where you can go and play your records after you buy them. If they dont have a specific record they can get it for you. Attentive and friendly staff.

Theres a great selection of vintage and newly remastered records! You can go to a room to test out the used records to make sure you get your moneys worth! On top of that, Mary is an awesome and helpful owner! Recommended to anyone wanting to expand their vinyl collection!

We just finished visiting the store for the very first time. Its a Thursday night and the young lady that was there was so helpful and friendly. We had such a great time listening to old music. Most of the albums are songs I have heard of but my kids looked at me like I was a stranger. Great time just reminiscing about old music.

This place is a total blast from the past...just flipping through their vintage LP records pit a smile on my face......plus, they havr a nice selection of portable turntables to allow you to enjoythat Crosby, Stlls, Nash & Young or Sinatra sound like it was 1972 all over again!!...get in here!!
