Their employees are courteous, professional, and honest. Ive lived in Buckeye, AZ for 17+ years and have been going to the Brakes Plus there for 15 of them, ever since it opened. My wife and I have each had a variety of minivans and other vehicles over the years. In our early experiences with auto service in Arizona, we tended to try different places. Once Brakes Plus opened, we found that we consistently had a better experience there, than at other places. Through the years, the staff members have been very friendly, routinely professional, and above all, completely honest with us. They tell us what we need to have done, and why, and how much it will cost us. They also let us know, well in advance, if were going to need further service down the road, or if they see an issue that is a small one but might later become a big one!The bottom line, is that this is a shop where we know the people who are going to be helping us, and they know us. They know us by name, because we keep coming back to them for our various repairs. Since they know we will be back, the folks at this Brakes Plus location often go out of their way to try to give us extra value, whether that be from a free bottle of water, or a ride home if were dropping a car off, or advising us how a large and costly job can be split up into two or three smaller jobs, giving us more time to pay for the work. And, almost always, the jobs have been completed at the promised time!The people at this Brakes Plus location have become our friends, but theyve EARNED our loyalty by giving us superior service in a friendly and professional way, for many years. It goes without saying, that we will continue to give them our business for as long as we live in Buckeye!

Brought our truck in with some extreme issues. The store was extremely clean and presentable. The manager and staff were helpful, quick and honest. Went above and beyond to get parts fixed and replaced. Our truck even came back cleaner than we left it ! Super happy with our experience!

Lost the water pump in my truck. They got the part faster than any other shop in the area and the service was topnotch. Will definitely be going back!

I paid $700 for service and afterwards, my brakes felt like they were slipping. Come to find out it was my alignment which was on my paperwork with the service to be done, so now that I had that done for only $80 after tax in NC, the cars better! Thats very disappointing that I had to go through that! Because I drove all the way to North Carolina from Arizona in that condition and I told them that I travel a lot and far and that was a month rent for me!

My husband took his truck and it was sitting there for a while. People seem to not know what they are doing. Payed waaaay too much! More than 2000, for them to just delete the check engine light without even fixing the issues. Might be good at doing oil changes but not other stuff. Will not be going there! They are scamming people.

This location is amazing! Jared, the guy who helped me, got me a same day appointment, looked the whole truck over and found my immediate issue. We talked through some other things the old truck would need as well, he helped me prioritize what needed attention right away and what could wait. He got me in and out and back on the road safely that same day. I so appreciate the honesty and the integrity this shop has. I have had them do other work before and I never get ripped off or slighted. Always a great experience.It’s nice to know I can take my whole family down the road safely because I have had great work done on my old truck. I love that they put people over profits at this location!

Would love to hear back from this company after them putting my life and countless others at immediate risk. I was intimidated at 17 years old by 40 year olds after they continuously sent a hazard out onto the road and expected me to take my car in a condition that could have easily ended my life and others. They have thrown a variety of absolute garbage schemes to try to convince me I was completely at fault.I will only list things I can prove. They mixed my coolant which caused my water pump to go out, I was expecting it to go out soon but the mixed coolant that was not meant for my car did the seals in. After being upset with that I then found they had stripped every bolt I had to take out to get to the water pump. So what? It’s not like they left anything off of my car right? No they did that too. I proved it to them with video evidence and they would not acknowledge that their employees gave me a car that heavily relied on the turbo, which was building no pressure. The first pull out from their store was a heavily populated street and my car had no power.They caused oil pressure lights, it is mentioned countless times in the customer service forms (that I have asked be provided to me for over a year) before the car had been ruined. I was told my car was too high mileage at 125k and that they would in no way be held responsible. This is after I was told for months the car was fine and then the wheels locked sending me almost sliding into an intersection. The car turned off immediately upon stopping and has not been seen by me to this day. I still own the car and absolutely intend on holding brakes plus corporate responsible for their employees actions. I could have died and still I had to buy my own replacement for the 10k dollar car they bricked.Still waiting on brakes plus to sue me btw.

Dropped off my car at 8:30 am. At noon, I called. They said they would look at it within the hour. At 3:00 pm, they still hadnt even looked at it yet. I picked it up and went elsewhere. Very unprofessional

Took my 2011 Chevy Silverado in today and Jerad was awesome and 100% honest with us that the truck was in good working condition but the gauges would eventually need to be replaced but that we had time to save some money. The past 5 years and several vehicles I have always received honesty and great work. I would recommend this place to anyone

Went in to see if I could get my vehicles rear suspension improved ( its fine ), but they discovered other problems ( especially the front suspension, which was done at a different shop ). Picture is of front tire, which was fine a couple of days ago. New front shock broke. Great staff here and they found a warranty on the shock!! Highly recommend.

I have taken my cars here for quite some time now & always leave happy. Genuinely good service all around.

Had good experiences in the past but this last experience will have me taking my 3 cars elsewhere. Brought my Nissan in for ac repair in March. Was told It was a fan and was needing to be replaced. I felt that my ac was still not as good as it should be lately. And am now being told I need to spend another 1400 on a new compressor. David told me it blew cold air in March when it was 100 degrees. It didnt even come close to 100 in March. Averaged mid 60s. So long story short. Didnt fix it the first time and now want to charge me to try again.

I had my pathfinder worked on recently and I will go back all day to get my vehicle assistance from these guys! Communication was great, explaining anything I asked, rates are super affordable. They guys at the front, seriously make the whole experience. Super nice, knowledgeable, made getting my vehicle fixed enjoyable rather then a chore. Awesome rapor and communication skills .

The only mechanic I use. These guys are my local shop and the only place I take my car to get any work done. When my crown vic broke down in phoenix I had AAA tow it all the way back to Buckeye to get it fixed there because I knew they wouldnt take advantage of my misfortune, and they delivered on that trust. I will be continuing to use their services as long as they continue keep my vehicle on the road. Highly recommended.

Great shop, great guys and just a all around great place. My wife went there to get a oil change today. David and his team were very helpful, honest and knowledgeable. They brought another issue to her attention with our truck, but they didnt do the whole pressuring sales pitch and to try and get more money out of her like any other typical auto shop would do especially with her being a female. Be careful they said my tires were separating and when I took it to Discount Tire they confirmed they were not separating. Also had an appt at 10 am got there a little early dropped off at 915 and then didnt even have the car taken back when I can back at noon. They then said well we said 1 pm I said no one told me anything then when they called it was 130pm. So customer service is a lack and them telling you its better to have an appt is a joke. The person who helped me was Gerald and he was very okay Im annoyed heres your car oh and your quote dont have time for you attitude.

I’ve been coming to Brakes Plus for over 3 years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and respectful and they’re able to explain any work they recommend in a way that I understand, and have helped me to prioritize getting work done when there are several problems to address. I know enough about cars to know when I’m being taken advantage of, but this shop is completely honest. My truck is eleven years old with well over 200k miles but is still running great, in large part due to the care it receives here.

I absolutely love this company, and especially this location! They always provide top notch service, they dont sell you unnecessary fixes, the service is always quick! They have my service for life! Absolutely highly recommended!

Honest and professional! Ive been here many times. A couple times I did not have an appointment, but needed car repair quick. They were able to work me in that day. They also dont try to sell you services you dont need or pressure you into unnecessary immediate repairs like other places do.

I went here to get a simple alignment done. They told me that they couldnt align my car because a couple parts were going out. I said that was fine, because I understand an 18 year old car gets worn down. They then quoted me $950 worth of work! I asked what needed to be done, and they told me that they were expensive repairs. I spent $150 at AutoZone and 2 hours in my garage, and got those parts replaced on my own. Im upset with how much they tried charging me, for work that cost me a fraction of the price! Save your money and go somewhere else.

Awsome customer service they are good at diagnostic even whe my clutch for compressor plug was intermittent with patience they figured it out and got ice cube to come out of ac I would definitely. Recommend these guys both mgrs wer awsome and you should give them a try if u need service thank u so much for making my 97 c1500 silver bullet silverado a joy to drive in the heat

Good customer service, good staff, I was the last customer to leave this day and I was told my car was good to go. I drove locally for about 30 minutes after and notice a rattling noise that my car never made before. After getting the car up to speed to confirm I heard a rattling noise I called the store hoping someone was still there to answer but nobody was there, and the shop is closed Sunday so I would have to wait until Monday. This is my only means of transportation so its important my car runs correctly. Once I got home I checked the engine to see if I can see something and it turned out that all the screws that mounted my air box were loose. Seems like things were rushed last minute. Other than that good place, double check there work and dont leave until you know your car runs correctly, especially if its towards closing time for them and its a Saturday. They started the work they need to finish it.

Ira and his team did an amazing job. I can’t thank him enough for all his hard work. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Very disappointing and unsafe practice brought my truck for suspension lift and alignment after 2 days i heard a clonking sound when I drive when i check my suspension all the bolts and knots are loose like super loose the knots are almost fall apart from the bolt passenger and driver side when i called the manager talked to him and he didn’t even admit there faults not even apologizing what they are doing is very dangerous i wont trust them again stay away from this business.

In and out in about 35/40 minutes. I scheduled an oil change appointment online. Got there a little early. From the time they started working on the oil change, it only took about a half hour. Customer service was good. They pointed out a couple of other issues with my vehicle. Control bushings and shocks. They physically showed me. They werent just making stuff up. Nothing major, and they didnt do a whole pressuring sales pitch to try and get more money out of me. Ill be going back for sure. 👍🏻

My husband and I have been taking our cars here for oil changes since we moved to buckeye. Today I took our new car in and was unfortunately told that we bought a lemon. The Brakes Plus employees were so kind - they walked me through everything that needed to be fixed, explained my options, and talked to me in laymans terms. They could tell I was upset to find out that my new car was in such bad condition, so they even gave me the oil change on the house. I will definitely be returning here for all of my care repair needs.

I work on my own cars, I know when something is wrong. When Im told that the alignment I have is bad when I did it myself on an alignment rack to the hundredth of a degree. I struggle to believe them, but hey, maybe it wasnt calibrated properly. When they tell me that the inner tie rods on my van had to be replaced when I had them replaced by the DEALER a few hundred miles ago. I start to get upset. When they tell me the whole entire thermostat assembly is cooked, leaking, and needs to be completely replaced, when there is no code thrown by the ECU, there is no leak, and the assembly is fine. Im mad. When the price for this scam was estimated to be over $800? In this time where people need their cash more than anything? Im furious. I will never recommend this business again

Twice they messed up my car during oil change now Im never going back. First time they denied opening something I know they opened because they asked me for permission. Second they stripped my the bolt to my oil pan and it is leaking. Now I just done with this place.

I just moved from NJ to AZ and needed car repairs. Brakes Plus was close to my home so, I called and made an appointment. The gentleman that answerred, his name was Jared. He was very helpful with pricing and scheduling. I took my car in and asked for front and rear brakes, a wheel alignment, and an air conditioning check. I met Jared, he had a great sense of humor and personality. Another associate named Jay, offered all the guest water, which I thought was very thoughtful. I observed every associate treating each guest with the utmost respect. They told me my brakes and air conditioning were both in very good condition. That was impressive because I have been overcharged many times when it comes to cars. I appreciated their honesty and excellent customer service. They have definitely gained not only a new but also permanent customer.GREAT JOB GUYS!

I replaced my serpentine belt and harmonic pulley 2 weeks before my wife took it in for an oil change. I didnt have time to do it myself. They old her that serpentine belt was old, cracked and pieces missing. They mentioned the belt would snap. I told my wife prior her going to just get an oil change and if they say anything needs repair to say no. She got scared cause its her daily driver. This was first and will be last time, with this experience they lost my trust. One of my rear breaks is low that I have to replace it. They said breaks are fine.

Spent $780 for the service provided; I feel robbed.

I brought my new to me car in when I noticed a strange pulling and shaking after hitting a shredded tire on the highway. They got me in right away and within an hour called to let me know it was the tire. They also looked into an issue with my seats headrests for no charge! They were very professional and kind. I will be returning for maintenance on my new baby often!!!

My car broke down on the side of the road and I had it towed to Brakes Plus. One of the technicians, Jarred, helped me out with trying to get the best possible deal to honestly fix the underlying issues. He and his team worked to troubleshoot the issues over the next couple of days. Jarred was compassionate and professional as he diagnosed the problems, understanding my budget and keeping close to how much I could afford. They worked with me closely to make sure I knew what the true problems with my car was. In the end, my car was fixed and they kept the price very fair and was extremely friendly and professional through the whole process! They are my one stop shop for anything car related! I recommend them a thousand times over!

I had one of those hot and cold days today. Waiting for UPS that promised a delivery for the past three days and still not here and then to make things worst my car battery died. With the help of my great neighbor that helped me get it jumped, I got it to Brakes Plus in Buckeye and they were extremely kind enough to take me right in with no appointment and fixed me up within the hour. A WELL hidden business and very pleasant associates. You should give them a try. I promise you will not regret it.

Every time Ive had to bring my car in whether for general maintenance or a repair, my experience has always been great. Staff is always friendly and service has been done quickly. Prices are always given upfront and Im never blindsided by my bill.

The guys are honest and give great advice

Got told they didnt want to do the trans fluid on my car because it was running at a high rpm on the highway not wanting to shift... I have never had any issue like that with it. And the quick trip I took down the freeway after picking it up, guess what... no issue!!! sat right at the normal 2100rpm at 75mph, getting the normal 40mpg. Strange how it had this issue once. On a Sat afternoon. Im thinking a tech decided they didnt want to possibly stay late to do it. I dunno. I am not a mechanic, yes there could have been some issue that popped up on that one trip out of nowhere. I would post a video of the drive after picking it up showing it driving perfectly fine, but there is some angry cursing and sarcasm I choose not to share.3 stars because as far as oil changes go I have never had an issue with them they have served my wife and I fine. Based on the trans fluid would prob be 1 or 2 stars. I like giving my business to places I can trust, hence the reason I bring my cars to them. Am going to be looking for a new place to get the changes done.update::: June 29 2020... Last week I was contacted by Dan, who I guess works in HQ? Talked to him about the sitch, and he puts me in contact with Daniel (not same guy, or could be with different voices!!!). Now Daniel is the manager at the Watson location. He gets me in takes me on a test drive, declares it fit for work to be done, and an hour later all done!.Noticed a slight leak Saturday, and called them this morning took it in and was out in 5 min! A check valve had come loose/or wasnt tightened properly. only a few drops had come out so no harm no foul.Both of the Dans helped me out. It is appreciated.

My husband dropped my car off 6/27/2020 at 8am to have the front brakes serviced. Upon picking the car up I turn the key on to start and the check engine light is on. Now I just had an inspection from the Kia dealer less than a month ago and the car has been driving fine. Not only is the check engine light on but the car is running extremely hard, my husband goes inside the store and brings one of the guys out because we poppedthe hood, the engine is shaking, and the air filter clasps weren’t closed either. Now I cant even begin to understand how changing brakes required going under the hood. They tried to tell us that an ignition coil needs to be changed, which might be true however the car was not running in this manner when it was dropped off, and the check engine light was not on. Moving forward it’s Saturday so the store closes at 5pm and the guys were already leaving. As we leave my husband decided to go to Autozone as I began to drive home, the car would barely drive like its not getting-gas or something. I pulled over and told my husband to drive so he can feel the difference from this morning to now. As he drove, the car is barely going, so he gassed it and smoke that smells burnt came out of both tail pipes. Now when we get home 2 miles from the store, I turned the car off, then back on and it only runs for about 30 seconds and dies. I have already attempted to contact the corporate office, which was already closed and now I am awaiting a response from anyone. Bottom line this was a brake repair, why was anything done under the hood, near the spark plugs or air filter???? Waiting on answers....
